After All We Have Done! (Sequel To Sick Of This)
Meet the family
We were right outside my house when Emma started to get nervous & stopped.
"What's wrong babe?" I asked her turning around & looking her in the eye.
"What if they don't like me?" She asked with a nervous look in her eye.
"My family, not like you? Pigs will fly!" (A/N Yes Kayleigh I know you always say that)
"Are you sure they'll like me?"she asked. Does she not understand that they will love her?
"Positive." I assured giving her a kiss on the cheek. She held tightly onto my hand & we walked through the front door.
"Mum, Dad, Olivia there is someone I would like you to meet!" I called out. I turned to Emma & she gave me a nervous smile. I replied by giving her a reassuring smile.
Olivia soon came running down the large stairs. She stopped in front of us & looked up at Emma with a wide smile plastered on her face.
"Olivia this is Emma. Emma this is Olivia." I introduced smiling & squeezing Emma's hand.
"Hello Emma" Olivia said holding out her hand for Emma to shake.
Emma accepted the offer & took Olivia's hand & shook it.
"Hello Olivia." She said in her baby voice.
Olivia giggled & ran away laughing.
"See that didn't go badly did it?" I asked rhetorically.
"Yeah but she is 5 & your little sister. Not your parents." She said sounding really worried.
"Don't worry about it babe. They will love you almost as much as I do & that is a lot more than you may think." I told her & she blushed. I kissed her pink cheeks & they turned red. I smiled at how adorable she looked.
I heard foot steps coming down the stairs & recognised that it was both of my parents. Emma's newly red cheeks now turned pale along with the rest of her face. I squeezed her hand for the 1,000,000th time today hoping it would calms her down.
My mum & dad were at the last few steps coming into view so I thought now would be the best time to introduce them.
"Mum, Dad this is Emma, My girlfriend."
"Well it is very nice to meet you Emma." My dad said. I know that he thought the best about this because I could tell he understood that I really did love her & I think my mum saw as well by the way I acted differently around her.
I nodded at my parents to tell them that I really cared about her & they understood.
My dad shook her hand & my mum then greeted her.
"You must be Emma." She said shaking Emma's hand & Emma nodded nervously. "Nice to meet you.
Well all was going well so far. Emma looked at me & I nodded to tell her she was doing perfectly. My head is getting really tired of all this nodding.
"Come in sit down." My mum said showing us to the living room.
All was perfect.
