Chapter 6
Macy's POV
As I was walking up the path to Jade's door, I started getting nervous. I still had to fill her in on everything that was going on. *knock* *knock*
"just a minute!!" I heard Jade scream, then could hear footsteps approaching the door. Just as soon as she opens it, a huge smile light he face. "Ohmygod! Macy come on in!" She gushed, obviously excited. Making my way to the couch in her living room, noticing her parents weren't home, we sit down.
"So i know I have some explaining to do..." And so I explain. I tell her about Tom, she her my arm, I tell her all about Niall, and she's left speechless. "....and I just don't know what to do. Jade!" I finish.
"Macy, first of all, oh my god. I'm glad Niall got you away from that. But I think you need to give him a chance..." Maybe I really did need too. Liam had just said the exact same thing. "Why don't we invite them all over? We can have a little movie night." She asked. Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea..
"Ok let me see your phone. I'm going to text Liam." I said, getting the phone from Jade.
Me: Liam! It's Macy. Are you and the others busy?
Liam: nope! We are at home all day. Plans?
Me: well Jade and I want y'all to come to her house. Movie night! :D
Liam: ok! If I can manage to get these animals in the vehichle! Me: ok be here about 8!
Liam: will do!
Looking at the clock I noticed we had about 3 hours left. Jade took it upon herself to make me look pretty, curling my hair, which took an hour alone, doing my makeup, and picked out black jeans, with a grey tank. I had to say. She did a pretty good job. Now her turn. I went with straight hair, red jeans, and a black tee. She fancied Harry a bit, so I was hoping to try and hook them up, little did she know. "Macy they're here!" Jade yelled, running to the door.
Nialls POV
I hate to admit it, but I was nervous about going. As we pulled up my heart went wild. It felt like it was ready to rip tight out of the front of my shirt!
"Come on lad!" Harry urged groaning I made my way up to the door. Louis, being the natural leader, was the one starting to knock, before the door was opened before he could touch it.
"Come on in guys!" Jade yelled. Glancing at Harry, I could see him eyeing her. Making our way to the movie room, I was fixing to sit down.
"Niall..can I talk to you?" I heard. It was Macy. There goes my calm.
Macys POV
"Niall..can I talk to you?" I asked nervously. He stood up looking...nervous? He looked over at Jade, who winked at him. Winked at him! As we made our way into the kitchen I turned around.
"Macy, before you say anything, I have to tell you this; I like you. I know you probably don't like me in that way, but I had to tell you." He whispered. I was silent. I think he took my silence wrong, because he cast his gaze to the floor. I leaned up and pressed my lips to his, taking him by surprise. He wrapped his hand around my waist, tangling his other in my hair. Quite frankly, I was out of breath, so breaking away, I rested my forehead against his.
"Did that tell you anything" I asked still breathless. Cheering coming from the movie room broke the moment. I failed to realize the place we were standing had a clear shot there. Damn. Taking his hand, we made our way out to the others. Jade was sitting beside Harry, and Liam made room for us on the couch. We decided against a scary movie, and ended up watching a comedy. It was a great choice. By the end of it we were all in tears from laughing so hard. All except for Jade. She ended up falling asleep on Harry. I asked him if he minded carrying her to her bedroom, and I walked with him.
"Harry, you know she likes you?" I questioned. Smiling at him.
"I like her too. Who knows, maybe we can become more than friends" he saids with a cheeky smile, placing her down on the bed "like you and Niall!" He added, running out of the room, causing me to groan. Writing a note to place on her head table, I wrote:
"caught a ride home with the boys. Harry likes you! We need to hang out again! Love ya! Xx"
Stomping back into the room I quietly announce "better make room! I'm catching a ride back with y'all" Harry and Liam both let out a playful groan while Niall smiled at me.
"Okay. Lets load up! I'm driving!" Harry announced. Lord help us, we'd need it.
