Carrie’s POV:
“Oh my god Niall are you okay?” I fussed as he got in the car.
“Did he hurt you?” I asked frustrated as he buckled his seatbelt.
“Don’t worry babe, I’m fine,” Niall chuckled at my worried face.
“But he punched you in the face, I’m so sorry, I should’ve been the one he hit,” I said guilt coating my words as I touched his bruised cheek causing him to wince in ultimate pain, trust me, Todd’s been hitting me for a while now so I know how much damage he can do, and that’s a very huge lot.
“Carrie, I would never let that douche hurt you, I’m fine, it’s just a small bruise it’ll fade,” Niall smiled reassuringly.
“Now, do you wanna know where we’re going?” He asked me cheekily changing the subject.
“Yes pleeeeeease?” I replied hoping he would tell me as anxiety coated my voice.
“Well too bad, because I’m not telling you,” he laughed causing me to pout.
“Awe, come on!” I said with frustration causing Niall to laugh even harder.
“What about you tell me nowwwwwwwww,” I wined as he shook his head.
“What aboooooutt now?” I asked as he shook his head once more.
“Annnnd no-,”
“We’re here,” Niall interrupted me with a smile on his face. I finally glanced up at the place we were going to be met by a huge football stadium.
“Oh my god! I love football!” I shrieked turning around in my seat an embracing Niall into a hug.
“A girl who likes sports, I like it,” Niall winked at me cheekily making me laugh uncontrollably.
“What’s so funny?” Niall pouted.
“I dunno, just the way you said those words, It was just funny....,” I trailed off before breaking into another huge fit of laughter, whilst Niall was sulking and pouting in the corner. After I finally contained myself I turned to him.
“Don’t be sad, I think the way you talk is actually very cute,” I smiled kissing his pink cheeks. He smiled in victory, taking my hand in his and leading me into the stadium. We got loads of food, because we both love eating, and drinks and made our way to our seats.
“Oh my god Niall, I am so excited! I’ve always wanted to come and watch a football match live but no one would take me! Thank you so much!” I jumped up and down in my seat whilst he laughed at my excitement, football and basketball were seriously one of my favourite sports in the world, and besides we both had some real cool foam fingers!!
After the intense football match we just watched we both made our way out of the stadium our hands still intertwined together.
“You know Niall, this was the most fun I’ve ever had in years, and being with you makes this just much more special,” I said as he looked down at me and smiled.
“I feel the same Carrie,” he replied as we both sat down on the grass at the park beside the stadium.
“This is the first time I’ve laughed or smiled properly since she left,” he frowned recalling Kristen. I really do hate that girl for making him so sad and vulnerable.
“You’re amazing, I’m so lucky to have you in my life,” I whispered putting my arms around his freckled neck as he caressed my cheek.
“You’re the best thing that ever happened in my life,” he whispered softly as both of faces inched closer to each other gradually causing our lips to meet. I can’t explain the happiness and joy that was coursing through my veins because of his touch. Just looking at his beautiful eyes makes me melt. The kiss was very long and passionate, our tongues fought for dominance, but eventually, we had to break apart whilst our foreheads still rested on each other, both of us breathing heavily.
“I love you Carrie,” Niall whispered his hot breath tickling my face.
“I love you too Niall,” I whispered back, I didn’t know if Niall really meant what he said, but I definitely did. He was literally my whole world now.
