Louis showed me Harry’s bedroom and then went downstairs, waiting for me to come down.
I went into his walk in closet and caught a whiff of his sexy cologne.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
Even his scent turned me on which wasn’t a good thing when I was in his body so I just shook my head and took a look around.
He had a lot of blazers in various colors and of course a lot of shirts but only a few pants and pair of shoes and two pairs of converse. One of them was black and the other was white.
As my favorite color was black, I picked a black shirt.
I pulled down my wet pants and heard a thud as I threw it on the floor inside the room.
I frowned in confusion and picked the pants up.
A black broken iPhone dropped on the floor and shredded into big pieces.
Uh- oh…. His phone…. HIS PHONE!!
I knelt down and tried to put on the pieces together…
They were wet…
Damn it Louis!
This wasn’t a good thing for Harry to hear…
What was I going to tell him? “sorry, Louis pushed me into the pool so your phone died at the moment and even if there was a small chance for it to work again after it got dried, I ruined it by dropping it on the floor…”
yeah it would be so pleasant…
I bit my lower lip then my eyes caught a memory card on the floor.
Maybe this was the only survivor.
I held it in between my lips and cleaned up my mess.
I came out of the room, wearing a black shirt with one of the pants which was midnight blue and wore the white converse and shoved the memory card in my back pocket.
I looked at myself in the mirror downstairs. Damn I looked hot!
“Okay time to go.” Louis said and opened the door for me, motioning outside.
In the car he turned on the radio.
….Hey hey you you I don’t like your girlfriend…
Avril… I was a fan of her music.
“I like this song.” Louis said and turned it up.
… think you need a new one… hey hey you you I don’t you’re your girlfriend…
Girlfriend…
“Why you don’t have girlfriends?” I asked quizzically.
He looked at me and sighed.
“You are one curious girl…” He said under his breath, probably annoyed.
I stared at him expectantly and crossed my arms.
He looked at me again and turned off the radio.
“It’s one of those Simon rules… We can have a girlfriend only for a month. If he finds out that we are with the same girl more than a month, even if it’s just a day, he’ll kill her.”
“Is he even a human?! What the fuck? He was born to kill?” I shouted and punched the dashboard.
His lips parted from each other but he didn’t say anything.
As my breathing got back to normal again, I asked him to continue.
“I don’t think if it’s a good idea…”
“I. Need. To. Know. Everything.” I said, trying to sound calm.
“You already know the stuff that you should know. You are not forbidden from having a boyfriend so knowing about the rules of having a girlfriend is not your concern.” He said gently, with the mixture of some anger in his voice.
I blinked a couple of times.
“I can have a boyfriend?”I asked dryly.
“Yeah cause if you got pregnant, your child would be a human.” He said solemnly.
My jaw dropped.
He looked at me and chuckled.
“Sorry I’m just too blunt.” He said with a smile.
I raised my eyebrows in confusion.
“So you mean…” I kinda stuttered.
“I mean it’s okay for a… she wolf to have a boyfriend cause in any case, if she got pregnant, her baby would be a human… on the contrary, if a male wolf get his girlfriend pregnant, his child would be just like himself, a werewolf… only if he stays with the mother for 2 months. That’s why we can’t have girlfriends or have any romantic sexual relationship for more than a month… even if we got pregnant our girl, if we don’t stay with her for two months, the child would be a human… but since we can’t stay away, we umm… we try not to fall in love and just prefer the one night stands.” He said and then he bit his lips.
“Why can’t you stay away?”
“We just… can’t… cause if we do… the rage will take us and might end up killing some people.”
“You… you mean you … you can never have like, a family?” I asked.
He didn’t answer.
“This is heartbreaking.” I mumbled.
Suddenly I felt a deep sadness for him, for all of them.
“We are not so obedient, love, don’t be sad. We’ll do whatever we think it’s right. Simon may be powerful but he’s not that smart.You know your dad was a werewolf. That’s why you and Zayn both... “ he didn’t finish as I bit my lip in anger and looked outside.
We didn’t talk for a while until a question popped in my head.
“What did Harry and Niall and even Zayn mean by saying that they’ll protect me and stuff? They meant Simon, right? They wanted to protect me from Simon?”
“That’s partly right. Niall wanted to make you his girlfriend for a month and then break up with you so he had to protect you from the other… boys… or should I say, other werewolves in other packs… but Harry…he wanted to protect you from Simon cause he… he wanted you for more than a month.” He murmured the last sentence.
“What?” I furrowed my eyebrows.
“Nothing. Let’s listen to the radio… I’m done feeling down in the mouth for today.” He said loudly and turned the radio on.
…. I can take it take it take no more… never felt like felt like this before, c’mon get me get me on that floor….
“Yes!! Britney bitch!! ” Louis shouted and turned up the music to the level that the speakers were blowing and of course my ears exploding.
He pulled down the windows and started to sing along.
I turned down the music and sent him a death glare.
He laughed.
We continued listening to the radio with no more talking about the wolf thing.
He gradually slowed down and parked the car near a supermarket.
“Zayn asked me to buy some stuff. Stay in the car I’ll be back in a minute.” He said and got off the car.
