Marlya’s POV:
“Hands up, on your knees, now!!” Niall shouted.
Joseph panicked and dropped his gun.
Nathan just slowly turned his face and looked at Niall, still holding the knife.
“On your knees!!” Emma shouted.
I smiled at her.
She always wanted to be a detective.
Nathan put his hands on the back of his neck.
Niall walked over to Joseph and picked his gun off the ground and pointed the gun at him.
“Help Lou out, Emma.” Liam said.
Emma took out the gag out of Lou’s mouth and threw it on the floor.
I was about to untie Harry and Emma was about to untie lou’s hands that suddenly Nathan put the knife on my throat and held me tightly in front him.
“Drop your guns or she’ll die!!” Nathan shouted.
Harry’s eyes widened.
Emma froze and Niall frowned.
Liam pursed his lips in anger and Louis looked at Niall.
“Don’t listen to this bastard!” I said.
“I said drop your guns!!” Nathan shouted and pressed the knife against my skin.
I cringed at the pain.
“Bastard!” Harry said.
“Okay!!” Emma said and dropped her gun.
“Emma!!” Niall shouted and put the gun on Joseph’s head.
“You kill her, and Joseph dies.” Niall said.
“Are you crazy?” Emma said.
“Niall it’s not a clever move!!” Louis said.
“No! you’re crazy that dropped your gun!! These people would kill all of us!!” Niall snapped at her.
“He’s right they’ll kill…”
“Shut up!!” Harry said to me.
I looked at him.
“This is your last chance! Drop your guns or she’ll die painfully!!” He slightly scratched my skin.
“Bastard!” Harry roared.
“Nathan, I’m sure there are other ways…” Liam was talking that Joseph cut him off.
“Don’t be stupid Nathan!! Let her go!! He’ll kill me!!” Joseph was scared as hell.
“If I were you…”
“Shut up!!” Nathan said to me.
Think I really had to shut up.
“I’ll count to three!! If you didn’t drop your guns, she dies!!” He continued.
“1…”
He started to count and my heart started to beat faster.
Harry was struggling to free his hands.
I looked at Zayn.
He was trying to stand up.
“2…”
“Don’t be stupid Nathan!!” Joseph shouted.
“Drop it Niall!! Drop it!!” Emma cried.
Niall looked desperate.
Guess he hated me.
Nathan pressed the knife harder in my skin.
I felt a sharp pain.
“I swear to god Nathan if you…” Louis hissed at Nathan.
“3!”
Nathan said and raised his hand to stab me.
“STUPID BASTARD!” Joseph shouted.
I looked at Emma, Zayn, Harry, Louis, Liam and Niall and closed my eyes.
“STOP IT!!” Emma, Louis and Harry shouted in unison.
I opened my eyes.
“Niall drop the fucking gun!!” Harry hissed at Niall.
“He won’t kill her!! he doesn’t have the guts!!” Niall roared.
“Niall!!” Louis was getting pissed.
“DROP IT!” Emma screamed.
“Niall, drop it!” Liam ordered.
Niall looked at Joseph who was smiling devilishly and then he dropped his gun.
Joseph smirked and grabbed the both guns and stood next to me and Nathan.
“Let her go!” Niall said to Nathan.
He didn’t hate me that much, right?
“Haha sorry mate, that’s not gonna happen!” he said.
“You said that…”
“I lied!!” Nathan cut Liam off.
“Bastard!” Harry hissed at him.
“We had a deal!!” Emma clenched her fist.
“Well… we had a deal if I really wanted to stab her.” Nathan said.
I could see that Harry was trying to free his hands.
“Told you he won’t kill her! Idiots!” Niall muttered.
“Where is Max? Where is Frank? What did you do to them?” Joseph asked Niall and Emma.
“You really wanna know, dick?” Niall snapped at him.
Joseph smirked and handed one of the guns to Nathan.
He took it with his other hand and held it next to my hip.
“I’m going to shoot Liam now. If any of you did a stupid move, she dies.” Joseph said and pointed at me.
I looked at Zayn.
He looked back at me and whispered something.
I read his lips.
“Distract him”
I blinked twice as yes.
He was trying to get over his pain and dizziness to untie Harry.
“Bastard!!” Harry roared again.
“Who is your fucking sister?” Liam asked him angrily.
“YOU killed my…”
“He didn’t kill your sister!” Emma interrupted.
“What?!” Liam looked at Emma with confusion, so did I.
But it wasn’t a good time to get confused by how Emma knew that.
Joseph was distracted by Liam and Emma.
It was the perfect time for me to distract Nathan.
“What are you going to do with me?” I asked Nathan quietly.
“Having some fun.” He whispered in my ear.
Joseph was still distracted by Liam and Emma.
I looked at Zayn.
One of his hands was slowly untying Harry.
Distract him! I said to myself.
“Really? I like having fun with you, Now that you’re powerful. But I gotta tell you, baby, I’m a virgin.” I tried to sound sexy at the last part.
Harry glared at me.
He had heard me.
“That’s really great…I like virgins, they’re fresh and…”
He kept moving the gun up and down my torso.
The gun’s barrel touching my bare skin… I got goosebumps.
“Needy.” He finished his sentence.
Zayn was untying Harry.
There was like a 90 percent chance for Zayn to get caught by Nathan.
“I think I’m too good for you.” I murmured and tilted my head back and rested it on his shoulder.
He lowered the knife and put it in his pocket, thinking he won’t need that while he had a more powerful weapon.
Zayn was trying so hard to be fast.
I had to try my best, too.
Joseph yelled at Liam.
I could see Louis and Emma from the corner of my eye.
He was watching us and he had no idea why I was acting like this and she was just… staring.
Harry was watching us too and he exactly knew what I was doing.
They were both staring at me, one with questioning eyes, the other with furious eyes.
I didn’t hesitate to give Nathan a chance to take a look at Zayn and Harry so I just stretched my neck and put my lips on his.
It was the worst kiss in my life.
He didn’t expect me to do that, so did Louis, so did I.
Harry’s look was like a torture, I felt so guilty that I just closed my eyes.
Nathan slid his tongue into my mouth and deepened that unwanted rash kiss.
He loosened his grip on the gun and held my waist with both hands.
I slowly freed one of my hands from his tightly wrappened arms and put it on his face.
That was a perfect time to attack him.
Joseph stopped yelling.
My heart beat faster.
He was probably staring at us like every other person in the room.
All eyes were on us.
“Nathan your gun!” Joseph yelled.
At the same time, I heard a tearing sound and someone fell on the ground.
I turned my face and opened my eyes and elbowed Nathan as hard as I could and grabbed his gun.
All of these happened in a blink of an eye.
Nathan shouted and stepped back that gave me a time to hold the gun properly.
“Take his gun Harry!!” Liam shouted.
Joseph was lying on the floor.
“Idiot, idiot, idiot!” Joseph shouted as Harry kicked him and took his gun.
Niall rushed to help Harry as he was still dizzy.
Emma started to finish what she was doing earlier and untied Louis.
Harry gave the gun to Niall and turned back at me.
I was pointing the gun at Nathan who was holding his stomach and staring at me furiously.
I was holding the gun tightly, but my hand was shaking.
Not because of his furious look, I was used to that kind of look now, it was because I hadn’t seen a real gun before and now I was pointing it to someone.
Niall and Louis started to tie Joseph up and Emma started to untie Liam.
“Gimme the gun.” Harry whispered.
I looked at him and pointed the gun at him with my shaky hands.
He held my hand and caressed it with his fingers and slowly removed my fingers from the gun, one by one, while staring at me in the eyes.
After that I found out he was here because of Katy and he said I meant nothing to him, I wasn’t sure how I felt about him now.
He liked someone else, not me.
He was using me this whole time.
I was just an idiot falling for the wrong guy.
He took the gun finally.
I turned away from him and looked at Zayn who was slowly standing up.
He wasn’t bleeding anymore.
He was all better.
How was it possible? He was bleeding hell!
Okay I was going crazy again so I just stopped thinking about it and looked at Emma.
She and Liam went to the kitchen and they came back with Katy.
Just as Niall and Louis finished tying and gagging Joseph and Nathan, Niall hugged Katy and Louis walked over to me and took out his shirt and put it on me.
That’s when I remembered that I was standing there with no shirt on.
“Are you okay, love?” He breathed.
I nodded.
There were so many thoughts in my mind so I’d rather not to talk.
He stepped closer and held my head in his hands and pulled me closer and held me in his warm arms.
I put my hand on his chest and rested my head where his strong heart was beating and closed my eyes, listening to his heartbeat.
He started to stroke my hair.
“It’ll be okay, love. I promise.” He breathed.
I inhaled his warm sweet scent.
“Is she alright?” Zayn asked Louis.
His voice came from my behind, so he was probably standing in front of Louis.
“Yeah I got her.” Louis said.
“WHAT DID I TOLD YOU ABOUT YOUR FUCKING ACTIONS?” Someone shouted.
I almost panicked at his loud threatening familiar voice.
“Simon?” Liam said.
“Dad?!” Emma murmured.
That’s when my heart stopped.
“Dad? What are you doing here?!” Emma was shocked.
So was I.
I pushed away Louis to see Robert, Emma’s dad, aka Simon.
Harry and Niall were staring at Emma with their jaws dropped open and Liam was frozen.
“I HAVE TO ASK YOU WHAT THE FUCK YOU ARE DOING HERE!!” He shouted at Emma then looked at me.
He was faking a British accent… or maybe all these years he faked American accent?
“YOU! YOU CALLED HER, DIDN’T YOU?” He pointed at me.
“I… I…” I stammered.
“Simon Cowell is your dad?!?!” Niall said to Emma. He was somehow scared of her.
Emma just looked at him and stood silent.
“You did!! I saw you! You called Emma from Niall’s room!! You dragged her to this mess!! You went to Niall’s private room and you shouldn’t have Marlya… ” Simon shouted at me.
How did he know that?!
Liam looked at me, then at Niall.
Now he knew what had happened.
“DAD YOU’RE FREAKING ME OUT!” Emma shouted.
Simon raised his hand as a sign of silence to Emma.
Harry turned back and looked at me then at Zayn and Louis with a haunted expression on his face.
Like he was worried what was Simon is going to do with me.
I knew him for a long time, he was Emma’s dad and my dad’s best friend. He was the one that took care of me and fostered me when my parents both died in a horrible car accident.
I mean I barely saw him, he was always travelling, but he raised me like his own child and now… I just found out that he was 1D’s boss. The one that they were all afraid of, the one they obeyed.
What he could possibly do to me?
“Dad stop it!” Emma shouted with clenched fists.
“Shut up!” He snapped at her.
I haven’t seen him like this before.
“Someone tell me what is…” Katy wanted to talk that Niall put his hand on her mouth and whispered something in her ear. She looked at Niall and stepped away from him.
Joesph and Nathan were both panicked and were just watching us.
“You broke so many rules Marlya!! You called my daughter and dragged her here and Niall didn’t punish you enough… And judging by what you were doing when I entered the house, you’re in love with one of these boys. Now my daughter knows about these guys and she knows about me. I’m sorry but you’ve broken so many rules.” He said.
I swallowed.
“Simon! please don’t hurt her! She’s my friend and she’s the only person I have as a family. Just tell me what to do and I’ll do it.” Zayn said and stepped closer to Simon.
Simon looked at Zayn wordlessly.
“How… how do you know that I called… ” I stammered.
“I saw you in Niall’s room camera.”
I froze.
“You… you control… them? They… are…not your… puppet… I know that they work for you! You’re their boss!! You’ve ruined their lives!! You order them to kill people!! To do things…” I stopped talking.
Niall closed his eyes.
Liam bit his lip and looked at Harry.
Harry looked at me in disbelief.
Simon narrowed his eyes and stepped closer.
Harry stepped back along with him.
“I don’t want to hurt you, Marlya, but you know too much and you just gave me a reason to...” Simon murmured and got cut off by Emma.
“Dad what is she talking about? What is y…”
“I’m sorry Marlya. I have no other choice.” Simon murmured and in a blink of an eye, he took out his gun and pointed it at me and pulled the trigger without a second thought.
Bang
I stepped back as the bullet hit me.
I just got shot.
I said to myself as I felt the sharp pain when bullet ripped my skin apart.
I looked at Emma.
She was screaming, but I couldn’t hear a thing.
I looked down at my stomach.
I was bleeding.
He had just shot me.
I looked at Niall and Liam. They were holding their heads in their hands.
Katy was crying with her hand on her mouth and she… I think she passed out.
I looked at Simon with my mouth open.
He pulled the trigger again.
This time, I didn’t hear the ‘bang’.
He shot me again and I fell on the ground.
Three heads were looking at me. Harry, Louis and Zayn.
Everything started to look blurry.
They were shouting something that I couldn’t hear. Like I was deaf.
Louis took my hand in his hands. I couldn’t sense him though.
Zayn was shouting with tears in his eyes.
Harry was staring at me. He was frowning. His eyes looked hurt more than ever. It was like he was fighting back his tears.
I looked him in the eyes and smiled at him.
His emerald green eyes were the last thing I saw before I closed my eyes.
