For Your Eyes Only

There he was waiting for me in the lobby, Jade was already down there as she was meeting Liam and the others before they went out for a meal. Walking out of the lift she gave me a wink and a thumbs up, I smiled but dropped my head as soon as I saw Niall standing there laughing with his arm around another girl.

“Olivia?”

I was brought out of my daze as Alex approached me, he was dressed in a dark navy suit accompanied with a white shirt and tie. Of course he was wearing that award-winning smirk as well.

“Well don’t you look stunning Olivia”

“Thank you, you scrub up well to Alex”

“Well I have an impression to make, so shall we make a move”

“Sounds good to me, lead the way”

“Is it to forward to ask for your hand”

“In marriage yes but to hold no”

“Ha-ha pretty and witty I like you more and more”

“Well that’s good but you should be making me like you more and more”

“I have the whole evening for that”

Smiling I took a hold of his hand looking over my shoulder to see Jade smiling giving me the thumbs up. Then Liam looking all protective along with Louis, Zayn, Harry and Niall just looked shocked. I turned my head quickly so I didn’t make eye contact with Niall, I didn’t want him ruining my night.

“So where are we heading?”

“I thought I could take us to this new restaurant just down the road does that sound ok”

“Yeah that sounds great”

Walking out of the hotel we jump in to the taxi waiting and fell in to normal conversation. I found out he really wants to be an actor and he saw this as an opportunity, it wasn’t a long journey until we were walking up to the restaurant called Diageo’s.

“Reservation for Alex”

“Yes sir right this way”

We followed the waiter to our table and we were in a nice corner over looking a little pond that was outside.

“Well Alex you have out done your self here, this is a very nice place”

“I aim to please”

The evening consists of laughter and alcohol followed by Jade making an appearance. Yep that’s right Jade they all came here for their meal luckily I had my back to her and everyone so I didn’t have any awkward eye contact. Alex though was a very good distraction as well I was so focused on him I forgot that anyone else was even around us.

“Olivia want any desert or would you like me to drop you off”

“Urm a chocolate brownie would be nice and maybe you don’t just have to drop me off”

“Hmm I’ve made a good impression then”

“You really have”

“So lets get you that brownie”

Chuckling slightly lifting my head up mine ad Alex’s eyes connected once again and I got this strange feeling. I thought only Niall could make me feel like this it wasn’t as strong as Niall but I was surprise that Alex could make me feel like this. After desert it was time for us to leave Alex held his hand out for me to take happily accepting it we made our way out of the restaurant but just my luck Jade, Liam, Zayn, Danielle, Louis, Harry and Niall there were three other girls but I didn’t know there names. They were leaving at the same time I tried to ignore them but Jade made that very hard.

“Livy what a surprise to see you here”

“Jade same to you… urm this is Alex, Alex this is Jade”

“Nice to meet you Jade”

“I’m Liam Olivia’s brother”

“Liam Payne is your brother”

“Yeah Step-brother”

“No step we have been over this Olivia”

“Ok well shall we make a move Alex”

“Not going to introduce us Olive”

“Fine Alex this is Louis, Zayn, Danielle, Harry and Niall I’m not sure who the other girls are and guys this is Alex”

“Nice to meet you lads love your music”

“Thanks”

“Now lets go”

I couldn’t look at Niall he moved his arm from the girl and I know he was fixed on me holding Alex’s hand but he ruined this for us it’s his fault. Turning around Alex and me walked to our own taxi whilst everyone went in to theirs.

“So would you like to go to mine or yours I must warn you I share mine apartment with a couple of lads and they are throwing a party tonight”

“I could party”

“To mine it is then”

It wasn’t long until we pulled up out side his apartment and I felt like the old me again I was confident and felt free. Walking in to the party Alex never let go of my hand and soon there was a drink in my other hand.

“Alex god you didn’t say how hot Olivia was”

“George party is going well then”

“Yeah Ryan has gone off with Anna”

“Really, oh Olivia this is”

“George nice to meet you”

“Pleasure is all mine would you like a drink”

“Yes please”

Taking the drink I began dancing away and before I knew it Alex had his lips crushed on to mine. I wanted to pull away out of guilt over Niall but the girl popped in to my head and the guilt went away. I knew he wanted more but I wasn’t ready for that ever since Aaron I haven’t been able to pull myself together to do it.

“Alex I can’t”

“Oh right ok sorry”

“No it’s just to soon and besides we got to work together this week”

“We do, so maybe at the end of the week”

“Maybe, look I’m going to head back but thank you so much for a great night”

“So I made a good impression”

With one last kiss I left his apartment and headed back to my hotel room, walking towards the lift the doors opened and Niall was standing in there wiping his eyes as he looked up to me.


“Li-Livy, you’re back can we chat please”

“Urm”

“Please I need to, I need to talk to you”

I jumped in the lift before the doors managed to shut stumbling a bit but Niall caught me. Moving out of his grip I stood myself back up, finally looking in to his eyes to see them blood shot.

“You’ve been crying… why?”

The doors open and we walk out heading towards my room, getting my key out and opening the door Niall stepped in first. Kicking my heels off I joined him sitting on my bed.

“So why have you been crying”

“Seeing you with Alex just”

“No”

“Livy”

“NO you can’t pull that shit on me I went months seeing pictures of you with others girls seeing you kissing them taking them out. YOU ruined us YOU I did everything you asked I didn’t go near any guys but you couldn’t help yourself why!”

“I… I”

“I needed you Niall, after everything that happened you made me believe that you were there for me but you weren’t”
“I’m sorry Livy, I should have been there I just couldn’t resist I guess that’s no excuse but I was lonely and missing you and then I just acted like a twat and couldn’t stop. When you phoned I knew things were going to end and I was crushed I cried for days and just pleased myself with other women I used them and I am sorry”

“It doesn’t matter”

“I bet you had guy after guy when you ended it”

“WHAT THE FUCK! No actually I haven’t been near anyone for your information because lets do a little recap I was RAPPED, STABBED and then CHEATED ON. I’m so terrified of going any further than kissing just in case I will get beaten. I know we weren’t a couple but you said you loved me and that meant something to me. Clearly meant nothing to you.

“You’re….You’re terrified?”

“Completely I used to be so confident and now I don’t even know who I am I just feel so, so worthless”

“Livy no you’re not”

“I am, nobody wants me for me… just sex… and you know what I’m ok with that now… you broke my heart and that is the last time I will ever let anyone hurt me… I can’t deal with it anymore so please just leave Niall it was all lust for you just like it was for Harry and when you finally took a step back you realised just like he did”

“What are you going on about its bullshit, BULLSHIT I tell you, You are not worthless you are the most amazing person in the world and I am a complete twat who fucked everything up and I am so sorry for that please I just need you to forgive me I do love you Livy I truly do it wasn’t lust its Love”

“I… I just don’t believe you”

“I will make it up to you I promise just name it and I will do it”

“Livy please”

“Niall what did you think was going to happen”

“I don’t know just Jade said you were ok and happy and I thought maybe”

“That I was ok with what you did, well after everything Niall I decided I wasn’t going to let some other guy tear me down. Aaron did enough damage and I was being strong to make sure you wouldn’t affect me”

“Livy I am just so sorry”

“You no Sorry just means nothing to me look I will be gone at the end of the week and you will go back to forgetting about me and carry on shagging anyone you please”

“You never messaged me or called”

“After everything I didn’t think you wanted to talk to me”

“I didn’t but if you put in the effort maybe I would of started talking back but you showed no interest”

“Livy”

“Stop and stop calling me that”

“But it’s… please don’t take that away from me”

“It’s just a name”

“No- no its not and I know that only your mum and Jade called you that and then you opened up to me and allowed me to call you Livy that’s when I knew we had a connection please”

“Maybe you should of thought about all this before you ruined everything, you said to me it would be a challenge for me to stay away from guys. I did that for you and believe it or not it wasn’t a challenge at all because I wanted you”

“Wait wanted… so you mean you don’t”

“Have you not been listening Niall you ruined it I… I can’t trust that you won’t do it again”

“I promise I wont please”

“I just…I just don’t know Niall please just leave I need to sleep I have a long day tomorrow”

“Okay I will go for now but I will not give up on getting your forgiveness”

With that he left my room the tears just fell harder as the doo closed, I couldn’t keep myself together. My head was telling me I was stupid for not just forgiving him but my heart was broken and wanted nothing to do with him. What he had done was not something that could be healed with the word sorry.
