The next morning I wake up next to Ashton.
I hum before putting his arm around me and nuzzling up in his chest.


"You gotta talk to Nikki today." He mumbles.
I groan and open an eye.


"Did you have to remind me?" I grumble.
"Of course, we wouldn't want you to forget."


I smile and kiss him before getting up.
"I want another." He mumbles and puckers.


I ignore him and get dressed the clothes I had on yesterday.
"Don't ignore me." He whines.


I put on the heels and stand up.
"Cutiiiieeeeeee."


I leave the room and walk downstairs to make breakfast.
"Cutiiieeee. Come back!" I hear him yell.


I smirk and ignore him.
I begin to make breakfast and don't hear him come down and walk into the kitchen.


"You know, you look really hot." I jump a little at his words.
"Ashton, don't creep up on me like that." I shake my head and smile to myself.


"I wasn't. I'm just admiring my view from back here."
I smile and turn around.


"You're beautiful." He comes closer and grabs my hand.
"Stop." I smile softly and look to the ground.


"Just stating facts." He kisses my forehead.


At that moment we hear a knock on the door.


"Who's that?" I ask.
"How am I supposed to know?" He rolls his eyes.


"Maybe it's your call girl." I smirk and wiggle my eyebrows.
He chuckles and leaves to open the door.


I, still smiling, go on with making our breakfast.
Suddenly I hear Ashton yell and the door slams shut.


I jump at the sound and immediately walk to the hallway.
"Ashton?" I ask and see him leaning against the door.


"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." He grumbles and walks past me to the kitchen.


"Who was that?" I follow him.
"No one."


"Ashton. Who was at the door?"
"I said no one!" He yells.


I take a step back.
"I'll go." I mumble as I grab my jacket and walk away.


"No May wait... I didn't mean to yell at you..." I hear him call but walk out of the front door, back to my house.


I slam the front door of my house shut and walk upstairs.
"May?" I hear Mike ask but I walk past him to my room.


Ashton always does this.
Every single time when I come just a little too close, he slams shut.
Isolates himself from everything.
And everyone.


I just wanna help him but I can't if he doesn't let me.
"May?" I hear Mike again from the other side of the door.


"May, what happened?" He asks.
"Nothing." I mumble but I'm not sure if he even heard that.


"Can I come in?"
"No."


"May, please open up."
"I said no."


"What did he do to you?"
"It's not your business Mike."


"Of course it is! You're my little sister! I swear May if he laid one finger on you..."
"Mike, just go."


I hear him sigh and hear him walk away.


I unlock my phone and see that I got texts and missed calls from Ashton.
I've been here for only 10 minutes. How the fuck does he manages to call me 50 times?
I sigh and read the messages.


Ash: May.. I'm sorry..
Ash: I'm so fucking stupid. I'm so sorry...
Ash: Please answer me.
Ash: Please...
Ash: I know I suck at this whole relationship thing but I really don't wanna loose you.
Ash: I'm trying May.. I really am.
Ash: Can you at least open your front door?
Ash: Leave it, Mike already opened.
Ash: He seems pissed.
Ash: He just shut the door in my face.


I smile at my phone like an idiot when I read the last two.
I walk to my window and see him standing in front of his too.


I grab my sketchbook and begin to write.

'It's okay :)'

I hold it up and he smiles, taking his sketchbook.
After a few seconds he holds it up.

'Can I drive you to school?'
I smile and nod my head.
I close my curtains before quickly changing into some clean clothes.


When I'm done I walk downstairs.
"Hey, are you okay?" Mike asks and I see Nikki sitting besides him.


"I'm fine." I shrug and make a quick sandwich.
"What happened?"


"That's none of your business."
"Ashton was at the door a few minutes ago.."


"I know."
"So something must've happened."


"Indeed, but that's all over. And besides, that's between Ashton and me."
"What happened?"


"What happened is between Ashton and me. And it will stay there."
"I'm just trying to help."


"You're not helping. You're a pain in the ass."
I immediately regret saying that but I don't show it.


He just looks at me.


"I gotta go, Ashton's waiting for me." I mumble and walk away.
I sigh and get into Ashton's car.


He begins to drive.
"What happened?" He asks when he sees my face.


"I said that Mike was a pain in the ass."
"May..." He sighs.


"It just came out! I didn't want to say that but he kept pushing about what happened between me and you!"


"And then?"
"Then I walked away."


He sighs again.
"Did you tell him what happened between us?"


"Of course not! That's between you and me and it will stay that way." I smile and take his free hand.

"Oh well. Mike's gonna be pissed at me." He mumbles as he turns up the parking place of our school.


I sigh and we get out.
Ashton grabs my hand, letting me know that he's here for me.


I smile and kiss him softly.


"Is there any change that I can take you home after school?" He asks.
"But then you need to wait for an hour.."


"You're worth it." He goes with his thumb over my fingers.
I roll my eyes and giggle.


"Okay then, if you're okay with it."

His smile grows and we walk into the building.
