I walk out of class as fast as possible.


"I'm not going to survive with him as my neighbour." I complain to Nikki.
"Oh c'mon, imagine how he looks with his shirt off.." She bites her lip.


We're sitting in the cafeteria and Ashton stands with my brother and his friends.


"Cutting the grass in the garden... You'll have the perfect view..." She dreams on.
"Oh please."


"And I'll come over everyday..."
"To watch him cut the grass in his garden?"


"Don't forget the shirtless part..."
"Right.."


I look at the table where my brother is and see that Emma walks to them.


Oh no, not again..


I take Nikki's hand and walk to their table.


"Hey guys." I smile just before she reaches us.
"Devil right behind you." I whisper quick in Michaels ear.


He nods his head in understanding.


"Hey guys! Ashton was it, right?" Emma smiles.
"Yeah, and you baby doll? What's your name?" Ashton smirks while she comes closer to him.


"I think baby doll will do just fine." She smirks.


I turn away from them and roll my eyes at Calum.
He chuckles quietly and Luke joins him.


I remember when Luke joined us. He had to deal with her for 2 months before he shouted through the whole school that he wasn't interested. She was humiliated, it was awesome.


"I wonder how long he survives." Calum whispers in my ear when I stand next to him.


"I give him 2 weeks." I reply.
"Deal." He slaps my hand.


"C'mon gurl, last class." Calum smiles while he lays an arm around my neck.


When school's out I follow Calum to his car.


"Where's Michael?" He asks.
"He still has 2 periods to go."


"So you're waiting for him?"
"Yeah, he is the one with the car keys."


"You can go with me if you want?"
"Nah, you'll need to drive all the way around, I won't let you do that."


"Okay, well, I'll see you tomorrow than."
"Yup, bye Cal."
"Good luck, May."


"I can drop you off if you want to?" I hear behind me.


I turn around and see Ashton.


"Nah, don't mind, I'll just wait for Michael."
"C'mon, my lessons are done for today, I need to go home anyway."


I sigh and look around.


"Fine."
He smiles and reaches for my hand.
"I can walk just fine by myself thank you." I pull my hand away.


He smirks and points at a car.
"That's mine, go ahead."


I walk to his car with him following me.


I get into the car and he starts driving. He's quietly looking at the road.


"Why don't you like me?" He asks suddenly.


"What?"
"What did I do?"


"You did nothing. I just... I don't know.."
"Well, we could be friends? Right?"


"Yeah, we could." I say after a long silence.
"And we could be lovers? Right?"


"Yeah, we cou-. Wait.. What? Nooo."


"I'll convince you wrong." He smirks.
"We'll see." I smirk back.
