Everyone was in a rush "as always" I ranted entering the big studio. Everyday would be a new surprise on who I was gonna work with. "Morning Brooklyn" Larissa grinned, she has been my co-worker from the past month
"Morning" I said getting my breakfast out.
"you're still sleepy?" she groaned.
"you think?" I dont know , I was so addicted to this new phase of driving all night doing something or another.
"Whos gonna work with us today?" I rolled an eye.
"Ugh? I dont know girls maybe" she shrugged leaving for her coffee.
and the manager came out of a sudden.
"Some really huge artists are coming today , give your best there Brooklyn"
"I will" I almost choked , who could it be?
"Arent you excited to know who they are ?" Jaden raised his eye trying to understand my reactions. ps. He has been our manager ever since I got here , And has been supported us along the way.
" I dont know. Anything I am exicted about is only related with me going to bed and sleeping for 18 hours strait" I rolled my eyes.
"All the girls are crazy about them , how arent you" he said gesturing over a platinium disc.
"One Direction?" Now I remembered.
My little cousin loved a guy from this band and she had her entire room filled with their merchandise, I wonder when she'll know I'm gonna work with them ,Gosh it will be the best present. I gave a pat to my own shoulder. She had been scoffing me over the fact that I forgot her present last year so it'll be a payback to everything. I almost grinned and Larisaa came being as active as she always was.
"So who's coming?" she gestured having some food in her mouth.
"One Direction" I smiled getting the place ready.
"What?" She almost died.
But to mention in the most positive manner but I would still consider it abnormal.
Jaden came up again "You guys can go for now it'll be a night shift for you two , the boys are on a flight" He growled going back.
"We need to celebrate" she kept murmuring words , her happiness was furrowed in her reflection.
and to mention she wasnt happy because she was their fan but because it was our first time to work with someone whos as huge as them. I mean we were hardly entering our 20s circle and at this age you rarely get a job at a place like this , I revised myself before I would curse my luck.
"Ugh? whats up?" Larrisa was annoyed because I didnt gave her any responce earlier.
"Yeah we should celebrate, where exactly?" I twisted my hair locks.
"Nandos?" she winked. Everyone knows how much I love that place not that I'm a food crtic but still you've always got your favourite things rouded.
I took my car keys out and we went along. Larissa hadn't bought a car yet because lets be honest she suck at driving and she still dosent have a lisence.
It was a huge day for us. I looked at myself through the glass building , I looked so tired maybe celebrating on my bed was a better idea , I heard some footsteps of someone from the buliding it was Larissa and if she finds out I am planning to cancel she will kill me.
"lets go" she almost screamed.
"FOR HEAVENS SAKE CALM YOURSELF" I yelled.
Its true we never worked with big artists , but as I mentioned earlier it was a start of our career. We sat in the car and the drive begun. It wasn't the first time she was going out with me , we actually had alot in common and thats the main reason jaden fixed us two to work togather. Both of us were quiet and didn't really knew what to say.
"Its sunny today" I smiled breaking the silence.
"CAN YOU BELIEVE IT BROOKLN" she yelled again.
"Ugh? Can you stop please? how much more screaming would I hear today?" I mocked parking my car. We got off and there was a huge crowd trying to balance everyone , we had to wait for almost 20 minutes until everything was in peace. We slided the door and entered.
"Why was the crowd here?" I gestured.
"Oh because of that boy eating there" The waiter told inbetween handling food to someone and pointing towards someone.
"Whats with the boy?" I scoffed finding a place to sit.
"The Hotel is packed I'm sorry" some worker told and I had to commit because of the huge "Nandos" sticker down his right shoulder.
"I am not going anywhere , I dont care to see another hotel and then waiting for hours for another stupid celebrity to show up" I was literally yelling.
Someone held my wrist and I wondered out of my thoughts it wasn't Larissa , it felt like a boy's hand 'much stronger' I thought lifting my head.
"You can sit there , I am almost done" A blonde guy stood and held the seat.
"What a gentleman" I laughed at my own words.
Larissa sat next to my seat and the blonde guy sat infront of us.
That whole experience was awkward.
"Who was that celebrity everyone was going crazy for?" I hoarsed.
He stuck his tonugue out and then commented "It was me"
"Oh" I wanted to say something but then forgot , and that was just one of my usual traits.
"Hold up , I've seen you somewhere" I added.
huh? It felt do dumb , I mean he is a celebrity ofcourse , It was certain I saw him on telly or somewhere.
"Where?" he smiled acting very casual.
"I can't remember , I'm sorry" I murmured under my breath.
"Whats your name?" I yawned because our order was still in progress.
"My name is ---"
Before he'd say anything , my phone rang. It was Avery she used to work with us sometimes when we would work with a band or something.It was much likely possible that we were working togather "again"
"Whats up?" I deemed.
"Jaden was searching everywhere for you guys" She whispered
"Before he sees I am warning you , Please be here"
I glitched and put the phone back to my pockect.
"ugh? umm.... We have to go see ya later , Mr.Celebrity"
I held Larrisa's hand and we ran back to the car.
"I suck at everything" Mumbled Larissa
"You do" I smirked, getting my car keys out.
"You're such a good friend" she scoffed sitting on the front seat getting the belt.
"I am sorry" I fake smiled , I drove as fast as I could and we got problematic with the police.
"Dont tell me , we're in trouble" I whispered to myself in shock.
"You reached the speed-limit , you have a 700$ fine" He added before I'd say a word.
I didnt had SEVEN FREAKING HUNDRED BUCKS IN MY POCKET RIGHT NOW , I memorised one more time looking.
Dont tell me we are going to the bank and I'm already late.
I was cursing under my breath. Larissa gestured she's get a cab to go the studio.
"What a good friend" I growled watching her dissapear after a while.
I went to bank it all took 30 minutes and ran to the traffic police.
and to mention , I am not a millioniare , I am a regular girl from a middle class family who got lucky. Even if we were working with young artists , we still recieved fat checks but that was about our teamwork.
I went to the studio and ran hurridly until I bumped into a boy. "Ugh? I am so sorry" I gestured running again without caring who he was , I didnt even bothered to see the face and opened the door. "Hey guys" I saw four boys standing next to Larissa.
"Wasnt this a five piece?" I was confused because I always saw my little cousin's merchandise which had five boys. I stood there waiting for an answer.
"Uhmm?...He is a bit late he is on his way" The boy had british accent , it was actually really posh and deep.
"Alright" I passed a smile and sat on my chair. We all sat anywhere we could waiting for the fifth member.
"Before we start , I am going to introduce Its me Brooklyn and this is my team worker Larissa." I pointed towards her.
"Its Harry" The british boy spoke up again , he actually had better hair then girls.Beautiful long curly hair.
I laughed at myself and then stopped.
"The boy drooling over himself is Zayn" he continued.
"The brown eyes guy is liam , the blue eyes guy is louis" He smiled
"He looks like a little child" I joked.
"He is actually the oldest" Liam participated in the conversation.
"There you are" I heard the british voice again , The fifth member was there FINALLY I whispered.
"Sorry...I was stuck with the traffic" I heard a similar voice , that was the guy I met at Nandos. I lifted my head.
"Mr.Celebrity?" I stood and smiled.
"Oh the annoyed-by-celebrity girl" He fought back with a smirk.
" I dont like being called a celebrity" He said getting his guitar out of the case.
"Then whats your name?"
"Its Niall" He murmured playing a tune.
"Its Brooklyn" I whispered getting the papers out where I had written different ideas for the song. I looked at his face again , I remember , I saw him at my cousin's wall. He was her favourite member.
"Niall I---" I was interrupted by Jaden.
"Please start getting into work.
"Its your first album?" I felt like I've been living under a rock.
"Second" Niall whispered.
"So umm... i Like some of your ideas" I marked those. He added.
"You're so good in this Brooklyn" Liam spoke again and I smiled.
"Thank you"
From their looks it was so evident why they were so popular specially the blonde one , He had such alluring blue eyes like the night sky , his fluffy hair were strait in an order lifted and spiked , and his grin was a whole different story....Whats going on with you , stop it right now I said to cussed , I mean theres no point. I am not insecure with my looks or anything but he is far off better. He is famous much more cuter and adorable.
"We can practise on your Heart Attack song , Niall laughed and rest chuckled.
"The chorus is really funny" Louis showed up.
"Is that an insult or honour?" I ranted.
"Its all banter" He smiled. He spoke inbetween not so fast neither too low.
But it was funny.
"Alright we can start like "Baby you got me sick"
"I dont know what I did" Louis sang along and to mention he invented the line.
"Need to take a break to figure it out" The Mirror guy finally spoke up.
This is so easy and fun
"Got your voice in my head saying lets just be friends" Larissa sang
and Harry cheerfully begun "Cant believe the words being out of your mouth"
"I'm tryna being okay , I'm tryna be alright , But seeing you with him just dont feel right" Woah a whole note by Zayn.
"And I'm like owww... never thought it'd hurt so bad getting over you" Niall magically appearly , Dang his voice was so beautiful.
"You have a beautiful voice" I almost blushed without realizing. it was a whole different experience for me because I never ever had a crush and neither I ever liked someone. I spent my childhood supporting(Not falling) For a celebrity , she was like an idol until I met her and I was ignored so badly , I dont know but I dont like celebrities so much. But Niall , He is different ,He has a spark in his eyes , and he is kind and cute , to mention his voice here just makes things better
Just stop It already , I vocalazied myself internally. I always found myself looking for him and its been rarely some hours.
"Ahh....The whole thing will go away itself , knowing in someways I just stepped out of my teenhood and it was alright to feel like that sometimes" I stood up hesitatingly.
"Where'r you going?" WHY IN THE WORLD DID IT HAD TO BE NIALL TO ASK THIS QUESTION.
"Oh.... I can end my shift here you know , you can go meet up with other songwriters.."
"Wait" I heard him again. He held my hand again , I had to admit his wrist was strong enough to lift me.
"What?" I stood waiting for a response.
"You are a great songwriter , I like your songs , I wanna work with you both for the rest of the week" Did he just said that? Oh I cant....that meant I had to give extra shifts tonight. Working at night wasn't even my thing but then Niall "Fine" I whispered getting back at my seat , presenting my ideas.
I was actually scared of myself I was going against my own mindset and plans I've been making since ages for someone I met today realizing how huge the madness can get is creeping me.
