-Lana's POV-


After another few days I still didn't get any further with the whole 'Get Luke the hell out of my basement' thing.
I mean, I'm trying. I really am.
It's just too hard.


"Hey." I smile as I bring Luke his daily food.
He smirks and wiggles his eyebrows.
"Babe." He smirks.
"Don't let Calum know you said that." I giggle and put his food on the table in front of him.
"Please, I'm not stupid." He rolls his eyes.
He begins to eat, which is slightly disgusting because he can't use his hands.
When he's done he has red sauce all over his face.
I laugh and he rolls his eyes again.
"You just had to eat spaghetti didn't you?" He grumbles and tries to wipe some of it off with his shoulder.
"Come here." I take a napkin and shove the table away.
I stand in front of him and wipe the red sauce off.
I try not the think about the fact that our lips are only inches apart while I clean his face.
"You see. Totally done." I mumble.
Before I can move away from him he pushes his lips onto mine, at least as far as he can reach.
I immediately pull back.
"What the hell are you doing?!" I yell, trying not to think about the fact that it wasn't that bad.
"I.. I'm so sorry.. I-I don't know what came over me.." He begins to stutter.
"I'm having something with your gang leader! With your boss!" I whisper-shout at him.
"I know... I-I-I'm so sorry."
"Are you out of your mind?! Oh my god, what if he finds out?! He'll kill you! But I can't keep this a secret from him!"
"Please, don't tell him. I'm begging you."
"I can't keep this a secret from him Luke. How longer I hold it, how angrier he will be when he finds out."
"Lana please.."
"Let's get you out of here first. Then I'll decide when I'll tell him."
"Lana.."
"I'm sorry Luke, but you brought this on yourself."
I turn around and walk away.


I can't keep this a secret from Calum, can I?
But then again, if I tell him he'll kill Luke.
But didn't he bring that on himself? He shouldn't have kissed me.
'But you liked it too, didn't you?' A voice in my head says.
No I didn't!
I don't like Luke. I like Calum.
I sigh and hear my phone go off.
I look at the screen and see Calum's name pop up.
Oh great.
I pick up.
"Hey L."
"Hey Calum.." I mumble.
"What's wrong?"
"Oh nothing..."
"I can almost smell that something's wrong. What is it?"
"I told you, nothing."
"There is something you're not telling me."
Ugh. I hate how he knows when I'm lying and when not.
"I'll tell you later okay?"
"Fine. But anyway, I had an idea. My gang leads your gang out if the house so you can help Luke escape."
"Is this up for discussion? What if they capture you too? What if they kill you? You know that this is gonna turn out into a battle."
"If it does then so will it be."
"Calum I don't want you to-.."
"It's not up for discussion Lana."
I sigh and nod my head, even though he can't see that.
"Fine. I'll be waiting."


After a few hours I hear gun shots.
Calum arrived.
Great.
We're lucky that we live somewhere in the forest, not close to any other houses but still close enough to school and the mall.
I sigh and leave my room.
"What was that?" I ask as I see Dylan coming up.
"Calum." He answers and runs downstairs.
I follow him and see Dean grabbing guns and amo and Dylan following his example
"Here." Dean hands me 2 Calibre .45's.
"I can't. I'm not feeling well. You go, I'll watch Luke."
I see that he wants to protest but also know that he doesn't have the time for that.
He nods his head.
"Okay. Let's go!" He orders and they all leave the house.


I run to the basement.
"Quick." I grumble and cut the ropes with a knife.
He stands up and looks at me.
"Thanks." He mumbles.
"Don't thank me yet, let's go." I take his arm and we run upstairs, out of the house.
"C'mon." I lead him into the forest.
We don't go in too deep, we can just see the streets.


Suddenly I hear Dean yell from a distance. I look to the street and see him shooting at Calum, barely missing him.
"Let's go." I hand him one of my guns.
"In there? Sorry, I rather stay out of that. I'm finally free!"
"That's your boss! So, or you get your lame ass out there. Or I'll make sure that Calum knows."
He looks at the street and then begins to run to it.
I wait a few seconds before following him, gun drawn.
When I'm out of the forest I hide behind a car, next to Dean.
I see Dean look at me.
"I'm so sorry Dean... I just needed to get some aspirin and he was gone." I breathe.
He grumbles something before shooting another three times in Calum's direction.
"Let's just make sure that they don't escape now." Dean says and I nod my head.
I stand up and use the car as my cover while I shoot, purposely missing of course.
Suddenly I see a bullet thrilling itself into Calum's side.
"I hit him." I hear Dylan yell to Dean.
Well great.
I roll my eyes.


When I look up to Dean I see that he doesn't watch me anymore and take my chance.
I sneak behind the cars to Calum, who's sitting against ones of the wheels.
"I told you." I roll my eyes again.
He groans as I pull his leather jacket aside to see a big blood stain already.
"We gotta get you out of here and fast." I mumble.
"Well why didn't you say so?" He grumbles.
The next thing I know is that I'm against Calum's chest with his arm crossing my chest, pushing me against him.
"What are you doing?" I snap.
He ignore me, grabs my gun, and fires a time or 10 in the air to get the attention.
When the gun firing stopped he slowly stands up, Ashton helping him and me still against his chest.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?!" Dean yells.
"I'm taking her." Calum points his gun at Dean.
"To the hell you're not!" Dean replies.
"Let's just call it payback." I can feel him smirk as his lips go across my ear to my cheek, slowly licking it.
Somewhere I was grossed out. The other side screamed Calum to stop playing with Dean and just get the hell out of here.
I see Dean getting angrier by the second.
"Don't worry Dean, I'll treat her well.. Right princess?" Calum goes on.
I connect my elbow with Calum's good side, letting him know that we need to get out of here. And maybe trying to hide the fact that his words made my knees feel a little weak.
Suddenly I feel Calum slowly backing away, pulling me with him.
"You're not going anywhere!" Dean yells.
Fuck, I'll need to change Dean's mind, and fast.
"Stop!" I yell, not knowing sure what the fuck I'm even going to say.
"I'll go with you, but I wanna speak to Dean first... For a few seconds." I mumble.
"Are you crazy?!" Dean yells, but Calum nods his head and let go of me.


I walk to Dean.
"What the fuck are you doing?!" He asks as he grabs my arm.
"Don't you see what for kind of change this is?! If I behave I could find out anything! We can't just let this chance walk by us!"
"Have you any idea of what they're going to do to you?!"
"Dean, I can protect myself. I'm going to be okay."
"But you're still my little sister."
"And this is going to be fine. I'll be back with more information about them soon. Isn't this what you always wanted? To just take them down forever?"
Dean sighs and nods his head.
"Then let me go." I put some pressure on my words.
"Fine." He grumbles after a long silence.
He hesitantly let go of my arm.
"I'll be back soon. I promise." I turn around and walk back to Calum.


"Let's go." I feel Ashton and Luke grab one of my arms each.
Michael stands behind me and lifts his gun to my head.
I lift an eyebrow to Calum and see him turn away.
When I look back to Dean I see him standing with fists clenched.


"You can let go of me now, we're out of sight." I roll my eyes.
"No no sweetheart, we don't know if he sent someone to follow us." Calum is the first to answer.
"I don't see anyone."
"That you don't see them doesn't mean they're not here."
I roll my eyes again as we continue to walk.
"Hey Mike, don't shoot in my head would ya? At least take you finger of the trigger, some of you tend to get... Nerves.." I smirk.
I turn my head and I see him looking at Calum for permission. Calum sighs and nods his head.
"Thanks..."
"You know, this is also a little weird way to treat your girlfriend. Normal guys would surprise me with chocolate and roses but no, you're probably gonna lock me up in your basement. Kinda gives it a Fifty Shades Darker vibe, don't you think?" I go on.
I hear Ashton chuckle and Calum stops walking.
Immediately the rest stops walking too.
I hear Calum sigh.
"Don't you ever shut up?" He asks.
"Of course not."
"And I thought it was going to be fun having you around all the time."
"That's a hardcore lie and you know it."
He shakes his head, turns around and starts walking again.


"So, what's your way of earning money?" I ask.
This time Luke chuckles.
"Not important." Calum answers shortly.
I roll my eyes for the 456th time and go on talking nonsense.


"Well well finally. That was a hella long walk." I step into the house.
"What has gotten into you?" Calum rolls his eyes.
"Nothing, I'm just bored." I shrug.
"Indeed, you're boring."
"That's not what I said." I playfully push him.
"You're boring anyways." He pushes me.
"I'm not boring."
"Yeah, you are." He says before pushing me once again and running off.
"Come back!" I follow him.
I follow him around the house. The kitchen, the living room, upstairs, the bathroom, his room, Ashton's room; I basically had a whole house tour.
He stops running when we're in the basement to catch his breath.
"See? This was the Fifty Shades Darker vibe I was talking about." I say looking at the room.
Actually it was just an almost empty room with only some chains, a chair and some other old stuff.
He smirks and walk to me.
"If you wanna use the chains so bad all you had to do was ask." He smirks and grab my waist, pulling me close.
"I'll pass." I smirk back.
"Really? You don't know what your passing out on."
"Seems like you've got some experience."
"I've got my experiences."
My mouth falls open and I back away.
"You're serious?" I ask as my eyebrows shoot up.
"Of course not." He laughs and I join him.
"But I could always try it for you." He smirks before kissing me roughly.


"Now, where's gonna be my bedrooooom?" I ask when we finished dinner.
A 3am dinner.
"Mine." Calum shrugs.
"What?"
"You're gonna sleep with me."
"Wasn't I already doing that then?"
"I mean really sleeping."
"Would you count those other times as fake then?"
"Can you not.. Have this conversation right here?" Ashton chuckles.
Calum rolls his eyes.
"She started." He mumbles.
"That's not true!" I defend myself.
"You're annoying as fuck today. What's wrong with you?" He asks, definitely annoyed now.
I shrug.
"Like I told you, I'm bored."
He nods his head and stands up.
He walks slowly to me, a little grin playing on his lips.
"What?" I ask.
He doesn't say anything and lifts me over his shoulder.
"Calum!"
He ignores me and carries me up to his bedroom.
"This is where you'll be staying."
"Really?"
"Of course, now that I have you I want you close too."
I blush just a little but he still notices.
"I think it's cute when you blush." He mumbles, which makes my face even redder.
"I wanted to talk to you though." He jumps on a serious subject in 0.000003 seconds.
"What about?" I ask as I sit down onto the bed.
He sits next to me and sighs.
"Tell me what was bothering you when we talked on the phone."....

Yeah, I have nothing to talk about.
BUT, I have vacation for a week now.... Which is kinda cool I guess.
I ALSO realized how fucked up my self image is. but I'm working on that.
AND I'm doing a lot better than a few months ago :)
