Hard Fall

Harry invited me to dinner with him tonight and of course I said yes. I just kept thinking about how he treated me with such charm and he always had a cheeky smile on. He seemed very nice. I didn't know what to wear, because he said he was going to surprise me with where we were going. I finally decided on a pair on blue denim jeans and a flannel. He picked me up around 7:30 and He wore black jeans and a dress shirt and he looked amazing.

"Wow you look beautiful" He said with the same cheeky smile.

"Thank you, you don't look to bad yourself" I said smiling.

"Are you ready to go love?" He said gesturing towards the car.

I nodded and followed him towards the opened door.

It was a short car ride, only taking about 8 minutes. He pulled up to a small, fancy french restaurant. He turned the engine off and got out of the car. I opened my door and he chuckled and came to my side.

"You know I'm supposed to do that right?" He said with another low chuckle.

"Oh well you can do it next time" I said getting out of the car.

When we walked up he explained to the waitress that he preferred a table in the back, because of the paparazzi and fans. She smiled and lead us away from the windows. We sat down and she handed us the menus. Everything was so pricey, it was unbelievable. I was trying to find something I could actually afford of the menu, when Harry looked at me.

"What's wrong Em?" He said with concern.

"Um Harry I appreciate that you brought me here, but I can't afford anything" I said embarrassed.

"Love, you didn't really think I would make you pay, did you?

"I kinda just expected it, because most guys made me..." I said, my voice trailing off into a whisper.

"Well I wouldn't make you" He said with a sincere look.

After my embarrassing conversation with Harry, we ordered and he payed, and then he took me for a walk around the park. It was lit up, with strings of white lights and it was beautiful. We kept talking about each other and what we wanted to do later on and it was really nice. He was so sweet to me.

He took me home after and when he walked me to the door, he did something unexpected. I turned to say thank you and he kissed me. I mean of course I kissed him back. It was passionate and meaningful. I soon pulled away before people started to notice and I let my lips linger a moment longer on his, before I said thank you and stepped inside the cozy warm apartment.

Savannah sat there on the couch waiting for me to come home and tell her everything. I told her every detail including my embarrassing talk with him in the restaurant. She commented on each part and then we both gushed over the kiss we had and I told her about his kindness and it made me fell wonderful.

That night would be the date I would remember for a very long time. And hopefully it would be the start of many more...
