"How about this?" My best friend Calum asked, showing me a picture of a woman's hair in a hairdressing magazine. We had a deal a long time ago that if he got asked out by his crush then I would get my hair cut or changed in some way. My parents would never allow me to do this. That's what made it funny to Calum.

I shook my head no at him and looked through a magazine myself. "Okay, how about this one?" He said suddenly, pointing at another picture. I really loved the hairstyle and agreed to get it. It wasn't a massive change but there would definitely be a difference. It was about shoulder length with blonde highlights and I always wanted it. I showed the picture to the cute, blonde hair stylist and he nodded.

"Take a seat." He smiled, his lip ring moving with his lips. He was really fit to be honest and I think Calum could tell that I was thinking that. I sat down in the leather chair and the boy wrapped a towel around my shoulders, his hands beginning to massage my head and it felt good. That's a strange thing to say but it was. I noticed cal whisper something into his ear which made the boy giggle.

A couple hours later it was finally done. I was facing Calum who had his thumbs up and a wide smile. I grinned and almost bounced out of my chair in excitement. "You ready?" The guy asked. I nodded and chewed on my lip nervously. He spun my chair round to meet the mirror. My jaw dropped at my new appearance. My hair was electric blue with bangs that covered my eyebrows. "No no. What did you do?" I almost shouted, running over to Calum and slapping his cheek. I knew he was the one who did this. The bad thing was that I kind of liked it.

I paid the guy and followed Calum out the door. I couldn't believe he did that. "Cal, why did you do that?" I groaned.
"Because, you got to know Luke whilst he was doing it."
"I'm confused... Care to expand on that?"
"Luke is my mate who thinks you are stunning and wanted to talk to you for a while but didn't know how. So if you had gotten the hairstyle that you wanted, it would've taken less time than this one did." He said, rubbing my now blue head.

I nodded in understanding and smiled to myself. I couldn't believe that boy thought I was stunning. Suddenly, a silver car pulled up outside the salon and Calum smiled as the window rolled down. "Sorry Kat, I'm getting a ride back with my girlfriend which you never thought id have." He laughed as he kissed his hot blonde girlfriend through the window before getting into the passenger seat.

"Kat! I love your new hair." His girlfriend smiled.
"Thanks." I mumbled as they drove away.

"You want a ride?" I heard a familiar voice offer. I turned around to see Luke, beaming down at me.
"I dont want to be a bother."
"Its no problem." He smiled as I followed him to his car.
"You think I'm stunning?" I questioned nervously.
"Oh no, what did Calum tell you?" He asked, scratching the back of his head awkwardly.
"Oh nothing. Just that." I shrugged.
"Well, yeah I do. I think you're the most stunning girl I've ever seen." I smiled to myself yet again. Its not everyday that I get complimented like that by an extremely cute boy.

"Would it be alright to kiss your stunning lips?" He inquired cheesily as we got into his car. I giggled and nodded. It wasn't long before I felt his soft lips on mine, our lips moving in sync against each other. The coldness of his lip ring sent shivers down my spine. We pulled away and looked at each other awkwardly. I pushed my lips into my mouth as he bit his.

The drive to my house was silent, until he pulled up. He kissed me quickly one last time before I got out of the car. "By the way, the blue looks perfect with your eyes." He grinned through the window as I walked up the porch to my house. I waved and chuckled as he drove away. This was turning out to be a great day. New hair, new guy and a new life on the streets when my parents see my hair XD
