Fangirl
We'll Kick You Out of the Band
Luke's POV---
"Okay, that's it." I say, standing up from sitting next to Amy. "Stop bickering about my life, I can't do it! I can't pretend to date Amy anymore!" I turn to Amy, "No offense, you're nice," I turn back to them, "but I love Riley."
"Riley is a fan." He says. "You can't date a fan."
"We pretended Amy was a fan!"
"Yes, but you can't date a real fan!"
"Bullshit!" I yell, and then Michael grabs my hand.
"Luke, stop."
"Why should I? You're sick of it too, the fake relationships and controlling our lives, but you don't have to deal with the relationships because you're everybody's favourite so you can't date for publicity!" I yell at him.
"Luke." Ashton says seriously from the couch.
"Oh, you stay out of this."
"No, I agree with you." Ashton nods. I frown.
"Wait, what?"
"I don't think it's fair. I think you should get to be with Riley with no complications and everything, that's what you and her deserve, since it's obvious you like each other, but we have to listen to these guys, okay? We signed a contract for the rest of our careers, they'll destroy this band if you keep going."
I frown and huff. "Fine. We're done here then." I mumble, and stomp out. Michael rolls his eyes and follows me out with Ashton and Calum.
"Luke you can't just yell at them like that." Michael says.
"I want Riley, not Amy." I remind them.
"We know that, but these are the rules."
"Fuck the rules." I grumble.
"What was that?" Calum asks.
"Nothing." I mumble, and get in the car.
"If you want to stay in this band.." Ashton starts. I raise my eyebrows. Is he seriously threatening me? I started the god damn band! "You have to at least pretend to just be best friends with Riley. You can't do anything with her, okay?"
"Don't threaten me, Ashton." I say, crossing my arms.
"No I agree with Ashton, this entire past week you've just been fighting management. We signed a contract, they control what we do, that's it, if you can't cooperate with them we don't want you destroying the band." Michael says.
"So you'll just kick me out?" I ask. Calum nods. I scoff, and stop talking to them. They don't get it. They've dated and everything, but none of them have fallen in love. Sure, I dated Aleisha, but this isn't like Aleisha, Riley is perfect for me. She's awkward, and shy, and funny and such an amazing writer. I'm not going to find any one else I click with like that.
When we get back to the hotel, I fall onto my bed and scream into the pillow. Calum and Michael are sharing a room, Riley and Max are in the room next to mine and Ashton's.
Riley's POV---
"I can't believe he licked whip cream off your nose," Max laughs, "I mean like." She stops talking, and just stares at the floor.
"What?" I ask.
"I dunno. I just really want that." She shrugs, smiling.
"You'll get it." I tell her, but she just shrugs again. "What about Ashton?" I ask.
She laughs, "Oh, god no Riley, we're just really close friends. Nothing more, he's four years older than me."
"Right right." I nod. "What about Michael?" She doesn't anything.
