Icing on the Cake
Chapter One Hundred Seventeen

“That’s ridiculous.” Calum said.
“Is it?” I asked.
“Why?” Calum asked. “Because I like to watch sports? Is that what you’re basing this off of?”
“The night you first kissed me.” I said. “Do you remember what you said?”
“That was over five years ago, of course I don’t.”
“It was at the café. You said ‘I’m not gay, I’m not.’” I explained. “You said you wanted to kiss me, but you were confused because you weren’t gay.”
“I was a confused sixteen-year-old, of course I said I was straight!” Calum sputtered.
“You haven’t answered the question. Are you straight?” I asked.
“Of course not!” He said.
“Are you bi?”
“Well….”
“Oh my God. You are.”
“You want the truth? Here’s the truth!” Calum said. “When I was sixteen, I thought I was straight. I thought girls were attractive. I thought boobs were fun and I thought vaginas were exciting! But I had never had one. For God’s sake Luke, I was a virgin with you! You’ve been the only person, ever!”
“But if vaginas were so exciting, why did you choose a dick?”
“Because I fell in love with a person, not fucking genitalia!”
“Do you still think vaginas are exciting?”
“No, Luke, I don’t. The only thing I think is exciting is fucking you!”
I didn’t say anything for a minute.
“Look, if you don’t believe me, or you doubt me…” Calum said.
“I’m sorry, it’s hard for me…” I started.
“Why is it hard? Why is trusting me so hard?” Calum asked. “This was hurtful. I’m sleeping on the couch tonight.”
