Christmas With Niall Horan

"Yes mom I just landed so please chill, I will call you when I arrive at the cottage" she was so overprotective even though I'm 20 years old. It was sweet though. I was going to celebrate Christmas with a couple of my friends on the English countryside and I was actually looking forward to it.

I hadn't seen my friends for awhile now because everybody was so busy with work or Uni. I myself was still at uni and I was studying psychology and English literature. I walked outside and rented a car. I rented a fiat 500 just because I can and let's face it, it's an adorable car even though it is really small but I was the only one who would drive it anyway so what did it matter right?

I had 4 more hours to kill before I would arrive in Surrey so I put on the radio and I found the bbc radio 1 station. I always listen to this station when I can. Let's introduce myself as we still have a few hours to kill. My name is Emily but everybody calls me Em which I don't mind. I have long wavy dark brown hair and I'm never going to cut it, at least for now I'm not going to cut it.

I have green eyes with a hint of blue in them. I got beauty spots on my face as well as freckles but they are kind of my signature trademark. I'm a bit curvy and I'm fine with that, I'd also love to paint and I sometimes even sell my paintings. I live in New York and I also go to uni there, I love New York but to be fair I will probably move to England when I graduate from uni because let's face it England is the most beautiful country in the world. It is in my opinion anyway.

So you are probably wondering why I am not celebrating Christmas with my parents well that is quite easy. They are not celebrating it this year because my little brother has past away this year and they just don't feel like celebrating, I can't blame them for that but I do want to celebrate Christmas because he would;t want me to stop living my life and that's why I'm in England to celebrate Christmas.

So as I said earlier in going to spend this Christmas with friends and we rented a cottage in Surrey. My friends are Suzy, Ellen, Michael, Bryan and Emma. We all met through the Internet as we all write fan fiction and blogs. Emma is also going to bring someone along but she wouldn't say who it was because we would apparently freak out but she was probably is just joking because she is actually the funny one of the group. I'm the more serious one, Suzy is the flirty one, Michael and Bryan are both gay but not dating at least that's what they tell us and Ellen is the emotional one and somehow we all fit together.

I suddenly heard my stomach growl at me and I realised that I hadn't eaten for at least 6 hours so I stopped at the nearest McDonald's to get something to eat. I decided to go inside instead of eating in the car because I really needed to stretch my legs and to use the toilet after a drive of two hours. When I reached the entrance I saw that the doors were closed, which was weird as it was in the middle of the day but then I realised that there were a lot of girls standing around the restaurant calling someone's name.

I knocked on the window and one of the employees just let me in, which was just really weird I mean what if I had been one of those girls. I walked in and walked to the toilet first and after that I walked straight to the counter to order something when someone coughed to get my attention, so I turned around and was taken aback when I looked into the most beautiful eyes ever. I just stared at him for awhile and yes he looked familiar but I just didn't know who he was.
"Can I help you?" I asked politely after stepping back in reality and he lifted his eyebrows for a second and he opened his mouth to say something but he forgot what it was apparently as he closed his mouth quickly. "Yeah I was wondering where you were heading?"
What a weird question as I didn't know the guy but I wasn't going to lie to him. "I'm driving towards Surrey, why?" I asked him politely and the smile re-appeared on his face. "Oh I uhm also going to Surrey" He said, which was a coincidence for sure, not really sure what I should say next I just went with something basic.

"Okay, cool" I was scolding myself for saying something that stupid but apparently he wasn't blown off by that, as he was still looking at me. "Can I be so bold to ask you if I can get a ride with you?" He just asked out of the blue and I was just looking at him as if he was crazy I mean, I didn't even know the guy and I wasn't going to take strangers with me. I'm not that stupid!

"I don't even know you" I said to him and his mouth fell open again and I felt really stupid because apparently I should know him. "Hi I'm Niall" he stretched out his hand and I looked at it suspiciously but shook it nonetheless.
"hi I'm Emily" I said back and he gave me a smile and I was completely mesmerised by his smile. Beautiful smiles are definitely my weaknesses with boys but I couldn't let it show and smiled back. "So now you know my name, could you give me ride?" He asked cheekily at this point I sighed and decided to be friendly as it was almost Christmas anyway. "Yeah sure but I first want to eat something if you don't mind?" I really needed to get some food as my stomach was literally growling at me.
"I don't mind at all, Em"
