Chapter 85

"Harry!" Enola called out to me as I was getting dressed. "Bear!" She yelled again. I left the bedroom quickly and went running down the stairs with a smile. I kissed Enola softly before letting her speak. "Darcy and I have to do some shopping for the Christmas party you wanted to have tomorrow. Groceries and stuff. Do you want us to wait for you to get dressed?" She asked, trying to get Darcy into her coat.
I shook my head, "No. I'm good. I've got some stuff to do here. I think Mum said she would come over today. I should probably stick around just in case."
Enola nodded, "Okay. Darcy and I will be about two hours. We're gonna do some last minute present shopping too."
"Alright. I'll be here. I'll text you if I have to leave or something." I assured her.
"Darcy give Daddy hugs and kisses." Enola instructed slipping into her coat. Darcy jumped into my arms, hugging my neck tightly and kissing my cheek.

"Daddy." Darcy smiled at me. I hummed as I carried her out to Enola's car. "Why does Mummy swear so much when I go to bed?" I lifted my eyebrow at her. "Last night, when I went to bed, I heard Mummy swearing a LOT, Daddy. We're you two fighting again?" Darcy sounded. I flushed bright red and looked back at Enola. She was biting her lip and shaking her head.
"No. Mummy and I weren't fighting. We were...playing scrabble." I replied slowly. Darcy looked at me like I was crazy. "Don't look at me like that. Mummy and I play scrabble all the time." It was true we did play the actual game often. "Mummy and I were playing high stakes scrabble, loser had to do the grocery shopping. Mummy lost." I lied to my daughter as I put her in her car seat. I could hear Enola giggling behind me. Darcy also knew that Enola hated grocery shopping. Darcy nodded as I buckled her into her seat. "Don't worry, Mummy and I are just fine, babygirl. I love Mummy and I'm not going anywhere." I assured her. I kissed Darcy's cheek lightly before closing the car door and turning to Enola. I sighed heavily which made her start laughing again.
Enola placed her hand on my chest and kissed my lips, "Nice save, Bear." I began laughing a bit as I wound my arms around her waist. She wrapped her arms around my neck and deepened the kiss. "Do you think I could interest you in some scrabble at nap time?" Enola snickered as she backed away.
"You bet. But you should probably try to curb the swearing." I laughed.
"Could always get a ball gag." Enola replied with a casual shrug.
"Absolutely not. That's gross." I grunted at her.
Enola laughed and kissed me again, "My loving man." When she tried to pull away, I wouldn't let her lips leave mine. I kept going back in for more sweet, soft kisses. "Nap time, baby." Enola whispered against my mouth. I nodded and let her get into the car. I waved to Darcy as Enola backed out of the drive way. Once they were gone, I ran back into the house to get my phone.

I had everyone sitting in my living room wondering why they were there. I smiled as I waited for Louis to sit down with Freddie.
"Harry, what are we doing here?" Liam asked with concern.
"There's something I want to do for Noli, but I need like everyone's help to do it." I beamed at them. All of the girls in the room gasped loudly. "What?" I asked quickly.
"You're going to propose?" Sophia nearly shrieked.
I shook my head, "No." Everyone around the room looked disappointed. "If I was, I definitely wouldn't tell any of you. You guys are terrible with things like that. If I could do this one on my own, I would, but I can't." I laughed.
"Alright, honey, what is it you want to do?" My mother asked.
"I wanna turn the guest house into her art studio. I've never actually used it and Enola doesn't even have an idea of what to do with it." I explained. "But last night we were talking and she was saying that she wanted a studio closer to home."
"Harry, that's a wonderful idea." My sister gushed. I smiled weakly as my cheeks turned pink.
"What do you need from us?" Niall asked quickly.
"I need someone to keep her occupied over the next two days, I mean tomorrow should be easy with the party and all. But the days leading up to Christmas, I need her out of the house and out of her studio. Out of the house so I can make one room out there a dark room and out of the house and studio so I can move all of her stuff to the guest house. There's a lot I want to do in there for her too." I informed them. "She wants to be close to home and I think she would really like this."
"I think it's a great idea, Harry. We'll all take turns keeping her out of the house." Brynn stated. I nodded thankfully. "And about that other thing..." Brynn began after a moment. I lifted my eyebrow in confusion.
"Harry, you should just ask her to marry you." Sophia huffed. I laughed loudly and shook my head. "What? Why not?" Sophia shrieked.
"None of your business." I replied with a smirk.
"Harry, she did that because she loved you. That's not the kind of person she is. You were, you are special." Sophia stated gently. My eyes narrowed at her and I tried to force the anger boiling inside me back down. "Oh, that's not why." Sophia muttered sheepishly. Everyone in the room was wearing sad expressions because of Sophia.
"I know that she wouldn't do that to me." I grunted at everyone in the room.
"We know, honey. We know." My mother smiled lovingly at me, her hand on my knee. I nodded and tried to push away the anger I felt.
My sister sat forward, "I can get her out tonight if you want. Take her and Darcy shopping for Dad and Robin's presents. I don't think that Enola even knows what to get." I nodded with a smile. Gemma grinned a bit, "You're first Christmas as a dad." I couldn't help but let my smile get bigger.
"Noli and I went crazy out of guilt. She is so spoiled." I confessed with a laugh.
"Oh no." My mother giggled. I looked at her with fear. "So did we. We got her so many gifts it's ridiculous." She looked at my sister, "I think Gemma was the worst." My sister blushed and shrunk back just a bit.
I shrugged, "Its okay. It's our first Christmas with her." My heart felt heavy again but this time I didn't let it show. We went about discussing how to keep Enola and Darcy out of the house while I set up the guest house.
