Chapter 76

I woke early. Enola had been out for a long time. She only moved in the night to curl into my side, to lay on my chest while she slept. I carefully rolled her onto her opposite side. I knew that she was going to wake soon so Darcy and I had to start on breakfast in bed. I didn't even bother getting dressed. I ran across the hall to Darcy's room. I chuckled when I saw that she was already sitting straight up in her bed waiting for me.
"DADDY!" She whispered loudly with as much excitement as her little body could hold. I motioned for her to get out of bed quickly. Once she was at my side we rushed down to the kitchen to get started.

"Alright, babygirl, what should we make Mummy?" I asked Darcy as I set her up on the counter beside the stove.
"PANCAKES! Mummy loves pancakes." Darcy replied happily.
I laughed, "Are you hoping that Mummy will share them with you?" Darcy blushed and smiled weakly. "I will make you your own pancakes that you can have while we wait for Mummy's too cook, okay?" Darcy clapped loudly out of excitement. "Now, your job is to find me a measuring cup, a big bowl and a big spoon." I informed Darcy. She nodded and reached to be let off the counter. Once I set her down she ran around the kitchen like a chicken with her head cut off. I shook my head and went to get the ingredients I needed.
"Daddy, what are we going to put on Mummy's pancakes? She doesn't really like syrup." Darcy asked as she brought me the things I asked her to find.
"I was going to put strawberries in the batter and on top with some nutella and whipped cream. What do you think about that?" I inquired with a smile.
"Ooooh she'll like that. Mummy ALWAYS eats strawberries and nutella." Darcy giggled as I picked her up again. I was a bit surprised to hear about her eating that. I knew that after Enola and I split up I couldn't even look at the two side by side.
"Does she really?" I asked softly, not wanting my daughter to suspect anything.
Darcy nodded quickly, "Oh yes. Mummy loves it. It's her favorite. Whenever she's sad or happy or...or anything, that's her favorite snack. " I smiled a bit. Enola was heartbroken over us as well but she used our things as comfort. Maybe I would've been less crazy had I embraced everything instead of trying to push her memory away completely. "Daddy." Darcy nearly whispered.
"What babygirl?" I asked with a smile, lifting my eyes from the mixing bowl.
"Um...why didn't I know that you were my daddy until I was four. Why weren't you there when I was a little baby, like uncle Louis and uncle NiNi?" Darcy was very upset by her question. I sighed heavily and set the utensils in my hands down.
"I was very young when Mummy was pregnant with you and Mummy was afraid that things would not...go so well with my career and you being involved in it. Mummy did it to protect you."
"So Connor lied when he said that you don't love me? You love me, don't you Daddy?" Darcy's eyes were extremely sad.
I kissed her forehead and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, "I love you more than anything in the universe. You and your Mummy are my everything."
"But then why did Mummy keep you away?" Darcy asked. I ran a hand through my hair. I didn't like these tough conversations without Enola. She knew how to explain everything in a way that made Darcy understand.
"Mummy didn't keep me away. And I didn't stay away." I replied softly. Darcy looked at me completely confused. I sighed again, "You know how when Connor or Ronan hurts your feelings and you don't want to be by them or talk to them for a while?" Darcy nodded. "That's kind of what happened with Mummy and I. I love your Mummy so very much but I said some things that hurt her feelings very badly. So Mummy left. And I tell you what, I regret everything I said to her, do you know why?" Darcy shook her head. "Because I love her. And because I was mean, I missed out on you."
"Mummy isn't mad at you anymore?" Darcy inquired.
I shook my head, "No. Mummy is not mad at me anymore."
Darcy looked at me intensely, "You and Mummy are okay, right? You're not going to leave Mummy like Sarah's daddy left her mummy?"
"No babygirl. I will always be with your Mummy. I will always love her and you. I won't ever leave you two again. Okay?" I assured her with a kiss. Darcy nodded and wrapped her little arms around my neck. "Darcy, why are you asking about Mummy and I? Haven't Mummy and I been okay? WE hug and kiss and we're always together."
"Uncle Kelly said something to Papa." Darcy mumbled with sad eyes. I felt a rage ignite in my chest once again. I had had enough of Enola's brothers and mother.
"What did Uncle Kelly say to Papa?" I asked with as sweet of a voice as I could.
"Uncle Kelly told Papa that it was just a matter of time before Mummy left another marriage." Darcy repeated quietly.
I frowned, "Darcy, you shouldn't know what that means."
Darcy shrugged, "Mummy always talks to me like I am a big girl. So does Uncle Louis and Uncle NiNi."
"I know, babygirl. But Mummy and I are better than okay. Mummy and I may not be married now but we will be soon and maybe one day you'll have a brother or a sister to play with, okay. Mummy and I are always going to be together." I assured her once again.
Darcy grinned brightly, "Okay, Daddy. I believe you." I nodded and went back to mixing batter for pancakes. Darcy giggled, "So...about that brother or sister..."
I groaned and glared at my four year old, "Not now. Mummy and I want some time just the three of us, okay?" Darcy frowned and nodded. "Mummy and I did talk about it though." I smirked a bit. Darcy perked up. "We want you to have a baby brother or a baby sister, but the stork has a very busy schedule." I murmured to my child. "Don't tell Mummy I told you, though, okay?" Darcy giggled and nodded.

"Mummy! Wake up! Wake up!" Darcy shouted running into my bedroom. She jumped on the bed as I entered with the tray of food for Enola. Enola rolled over in the bed, looking almost frantic.
"Darcy, I said wake Mummy up not scare her to death." I chuckled quietly. Darcy smiled at me like she was embarrassed. Enola sat up then lifted Darcy onto the bed. Darcy sat beside Enola with a huge grin.
"What is this, you two?" Enola asked as I set the tray over her lap. I sat beside her with a smile. Darcy quickly snuggled under the blankets on the opposite side of Enola.
"Its breakfast in bed Mummy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Darcy shouted brightly.
Enola laughed and kissed Darcy's cheek, "Thank you, honey." Enola examined her food carefully. "Darcy, did you make these pancakes for me?"
Darcy nodded, "Daddy helped." I rolled my eyes and shook my head. The baby kept getting the credit. Enola laughed once more then cut into her breakfast. Enola looked at me with completely satisfied eyes.
"There's going to be a reason that I marry you." Enola said mid moan. She loved her pancakes.
I chuckled, "Oh yeah, my amazing hair and huge..." I stopped myself when I remembered that Darcy was in the room. "Talent for cooking." I finished my sentence slowly.
Enola smirked, "Nice save." I gave a single nod and smiled weakly at my daughter's curious face. Enola leaned over and kissed my lips gently, "Thank you, Harry."
"Happy birthday, Noli." I replied backing away slowly. I kissed her forehead lightly, pushing her hair off her shoulder. I stroked her cheek with my thumb gently.
"Daddy, can we give Mummy our presents now? Can we? Can we?" Darcy bounced around the end of the bed with a big grin. I nodded as I set the tray on the floor beside the bed. Darcy jumped off the bed and ran across the hall to her room.
Enola smirked at me, "Finally, she's gone." Enola grabbed my t-shirt and pulled me on top of her. I laughed as she wrapped her arms around my neck. "Kiss me." Enola whispered seductively. I pressed my mouth to hers passionately. I molded my lips to hers with fire. Enola buried her hands in my hair and tugged gently. I chuckled quietly against her lips. I slid my hand down the back of her thigh then up between her legs. She moaned my name softly. I smirked and pulled my lips away from hers.
"Not now, baby." I murmured kissing down her neck slowly. She whimpered. I gazed into her eyes then teased her lips with my own.
"Harry, stop teasing me." Enola giggled punching me in the chest gently. I smirked a little and looked toward the door. I could hear our daughter in her room, looking for the gift she had gotten her mother. I placed my lips on Enola's neck then slipped my hand into her yoga shorts. She gasped and gripped my bicep tightly, "Harry, what are you doing?" I just smiled against her skin as I slipped a finger between her lower lips. She squealed quietly and tugged my hair again.
"Relax." I murmured into her ear.
"I can't relax. The door is open and she is going to be back and second." Enola giggled as I caressed her clit slowly.
"Do you want me to stop?" I asked becoming worried.
Enola laughed, "No." I smiled and placed my lips over her sweetly. She moaned quietly, becoming more aroused by the second. Enola was right on the edge of an orgasm as Darcy's feet were heard coming into the hall. I quickly released Enola, pulling my hand from her shorts. She looked at me completely disappointed. I smirked and sat up. Darcy came running into the bedroom with a pink box.
"Mummy! I got this for you!" Dacy yelled running toward the bed. I picked her up and set her in Enola's lap. Enola sat up as well then put her arms around Darcy. I could tell Enola was trying her hardest to regain her composure. "Open it. Open it." Darcy urged her mother. Enola smiled and carefully tore the pink wrapping paper away from the plain white box. Enola opened the box carefully.
"Oh babygirl, thank you so much." Enola grinned pulling a small picture frame from the box. The frame was a dark wood with a blue butterfly on the corner. "Those whom I love, are those who give me wings." Enola read the inscription on the frame. "And it's a picture of you and Daddy." Enola flipped it to show me the picture. It was Darcy and I in Paris just outside of where Enola and I had spent a couple of days on holiday. We took Darcy there to show her the fountain. We were sitting on the edge of the fountain looking into the water. Darcy sat in my lap huge smiles on both of our faces. Lou had taken the picture from the far side of the fountain. Lou and my mother must've helped Darcy with this present because I had helped her find another present. "I love it, babygirl. Thank you." Enola kissed Darcy's hair once more then leaned over and set the photo on her nightstand.
"Daddy, it's your turn now." Darcy beamed at me.
"Yes Daddy, it's your turn now." Enola grinned holding her hands out like Darcy had on her own birthday. I turned away from Darcy and Enola. I opened my nightstand drawer and pulled out a small box. When I placed the box in Enola's hand she looked a bit scared.
"Open it, Mummy. Open it." Darcy pleaded quietly. Enola gave me one last worried look as she opened up the black box.
"Oh my stars...Harry Styles, you...wow." Enola choked out. She picked up the diamond necklace from the box and examined it closely. "Harry, I..." She was still speechless as she carefully looked over the infinity symbol with mine and Darcy's first initials within it. Enola held the necklace out to me, "Will you?" I nodded and took it from her. I leaned closer and wrapped my arms around her neck to clasp the necklace on her. I pulled back and smiled. She touched the pendent gently. She grabbed my shirt again, bringing me closer. She placed her lips on mine softly, cupping my cheek tenderly. "I love you, so much." She murmured, tears threatening to spill from her eyes.
"I love you, baby." I replied gently. She kissed me once more before Darcy interrupted.
"We have to get dressed now, Mummy." Darcy announced quietly. Enola nodded and moved to get up with Darcy.
"It's okay, babe. I'll help her get dressed. You just lay here until you want to get up. We got it." I said taking Darcy from her lap.
Enola chuckled, "I will get her dressed. You can clean up." I looked around at the torn wrapping paper and dishes from breakfast. It was the better idea. I nodded and kissed both of my girls.

It was just after one. People were starting to arrive for Enola's party. Of course her family and my parents were at the house at half past noon. My mother insisted on helping set up while Enola's family tried to right the wrongs from the day before. I couldn't stand to look in their eyes though. I was infuriated with her brothers for the things they said in front of Darcy.
"Harry! E!" I heard Sophia shouting meekly from the front hall. I laughed quietly and went out to see her standing quietly with Liam, Niall and Brynn.
"Get in here you fools." I chuckled motioning them into the living room. Sophia and Brynn quickly booked it into the living room, gifts in hand. "Where's Louis?" I asked before Enola had a chance to see he was missing from the group.
"He waited until last minute to get her gift. He's wrapping. He'll be here though. He'll just be a bit late." Sophia answered just as quietly. I nodded feeling thankful but also annoyed. Enola then ran into the room with Darcy right behind her.
"Soph! Brynn!" Enola beamed as she hugged them both. Darcy went right to Niall. She kissed Liam's cheek softly before hugging Niall tightly. I shook my head and stood back a bit.
"Happy birthday, darling. How is your day so far? Fabulous?" Sophia inquired with a smile.
"It'd be going a lot better if someone wasn't being stingy with kisses today." Enola replied glaring back at me.
Brynn smacked me in the arm, "Harry, it's her birthday! You're supposed to kiss her as much as she wants."
I smirked, "Kissing is never just kissing. There's not enough time for what she wants." Enola turned bright red and shook her head at me. I kissed her forehead gently, "I am going to go see what my mother is doing. I don't trust her alone in that kitchen." Enola giggled and nodded. She tried to kiss me on the mouth but I quickly backed away, smirking as I did so.
She threw a party blower at my back, "You're a jerk, Bear."
I turned with a mischievous smile, "We'll see how you fell about me later." I winked then put my back to her again. I started to laugh as I heard her grunt in annoyance. I entered the kitchen to see my mother and Enola's mother glaring at each other. "What did I just walk into and how quickly should I leave?" I inquired in a chuckle, trying to ease the tension. My mother looked up at me with tear filled eyes. "What Mummy? Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked quickly.
"You and Enola are going to have another child and you didn't tell me?" My mother's voice broke. I furrowed my brows at her. I had no idea what she was talking about. I looked over at Gianna.
"Darcy stated that you and Enola were going to have another baby and her little fainting spell yesterday..." Gianna stated.
I groaned loudly, "Darcy!" She was ignoring me. I could hear her talking to Brynn. "Darcy Anne Styles, get your butt in here!" I shouted. I gazed into my mother's hurt eyes. "Enola is not pregnant and we are not trying." I looked to Gianna, "Don't ever take the word of a four year old. And Enola fainted because she didn't eat and she didn't get enough sleep. There's no baby." Darcy came barreling into the kitchen. I glared at my child, "Have you been telling Nana and Grammy stories?" Darcy had the expression of a deer in headlights. "Did you tell Grammy and Nana that Mummy and I were going to have a baby?" Darcy nodded slowly. "Darcy..." I began.
"Well, you are! You said that one day I was going to have a baby brother or sister. I didn't tell stories!" Darcy exclaimed in fear. She hated when I scolded her. She would cry and ignore me for hours at a time.
I sighed heavily and nodded, "Okay, go play, babygirl. I'm sorry I was upset with you." DArcy nodded and ran away faster than she had come in. When my gaze fell upon my mother and Gianna they were both smirking. "Okay, so I said it but I didn't mean right now and I didn't mean any time soon." I huffed.
My mother sighed, "It would be nice to have a baby around."
"Talk to Gem and Nick. They just got married." I replied softly as I rounded the island to get to the drinks I needed to put in the backyard for the fire.
"You're not mad at me for wanting more grandchildren, are you?" My mother asked.
I shook my head, "No. I just don't want you getting Darcy's hopes up. Enola's not ready to have another baby yet and I am so far past not ready it's ridiculous. Gemma and Nick know where they stand and all, you should be talking to them about it." My mother lifted her eyebrow at me like she didn't believe me. "Alright, so I could want another one right now but Enola doesn't. So we're not going to. I'm not the one that has to carry it around and be uncomfortable all the time. I'll wait." My mother and Gianna's smirks turned into genuine smiles. "But don't you dare tell her I said that. I want to wait for her to bring it up." I warned them.
"Harry, I have ears, baby." Enola's soft voice came from the doorway. My shoulders sagged when I saw her amused eyes. "Mama, Darcy wants you to redo her hair. She hates the way I've done it." Enola chuckled. Gianna nodded and exited the room quickly.
"I'm going to follow the feisty Italian." My mother giggled and scooted out of the room quickly. I looked at my mother with fearful eyes. How dare she leave me alone after that? I sighed heavily and went about gathering the things I needed to bring to the set up in the backyard. I was hoping that Enola would get annoyed and leave me be.
"Harry, are you going to speak to me or what?" Enola asked with a small smirk as she sat down on a bar stool. I shrugged. "Bear, come on. It's okay." I shook my head quickly. "Harry Styles, tell me that you want another baby." She commanded.
"I want another baby." I stated glaring at her. "There are you happy?" I inquired when she smirked more.
"Hey, don't get an attitude with me. It's my birthday and the future of your offspring lies between my legs." She giggled. I relaxed and nodded. "Harry, I know you want more kids. You told me before we even started this again. I'm okay with you wanting more kids." She assured me. I nodded and kept my eyes down. "And I am not not ready. I just...I want you to be secure in yourself, as a father, as my...I don't want to call you my boyfriend. It seems childish and we have anything but a childish relationship." Enola giggled.
I shrugged, "I say partner. It sounds a bit odd but...we're not that uncommitted but you're not my wife..." I smirked, "Yet."
Enola nodded, "As a father and as my partner, before we have more. I am not on birth control and we don't take any preventative steps, but we agreed that if it happens it happens, right?"
"Well, yeah, but..." I began.
Enola held her hand up, "Be straight forward, Harry."
"I don't want you to end up hating me because we had another unplanned child and I had to be gone all of the time for work. And I don't want to hate myself for leaving you all alone, again, and missing out on everything I should be apart of. I want to be there next time. I wanna hold your hand at the doctor's office or pull your hair back when you get morning sickness. I want to feel him kick and hear his heartbeat for the first time. I don't want to miss it all like I did with Darcy." I stated honestly.
Enola smiled and leaned over the counter, "I know you do baby, but I will have a thousand children with you until you get to have all of those moments." I kissed her forehead gently with a teasing smile. "At this rate, we're never going to have anymore." Enola huffed as she sat back down.
"Oh whatever, I'm just saving it all up so I can rock your world later on." I teased her quietly. She shook her head as she giggled.

I stood in the back yard with Enola wrapped around me. I wanted to push her away, make her keep a bit of a distance between us so I could taunt her, but she was cold. So I took my taunting out in different ways. When no one was paying attention I would squeeze her bum lightly, the way I would while making love. I let my fingers dance up and down her arm as softly as possible. I tickled her back as delicately as I could. I smiled when I saw how engrossed in a conversation she was. I had another plan. I slipped my hand into her jacket, around her back. She smiled up at me briefly, taking another step closer. I slowly traced the waistline of her jeans above her bum. She turned pink as she tried to keep her conversation with Julian's wife going. Julian lifted his eyebrow at me. I kept my eyes on the women as I slipped my finger into the backside of her jeans. I hooked my finger into the string of her thong and pulled gently, tightening the fabric around her womanhood. Her breath caught for a moment. I kept a straight face as she tried to regain her composure.
"Are you okay, baby? Are you too cold? Do you want to go in?" I asked her softly, trying to come off as a caring, not guilty partner. Enola shook her head quickly, glaring at me. "I am going to go get you another sweater. Its too cold out here for you." I said placing a teasing kiss on her lips. She appeared a bit shocked that I kissed her on the mouth. I turned to Julian and his wife, Stella, "I will be back. Can't let the birthday girl freeze to death."
"It's not even that cold." Stella giggled.
"She's used to the heat of LA." I stated, pulling Enola's thong as I said the word heat. I was trying to get her to follow after me to our bedroom. I wanted to give her a taste of what I had planned for the night. "Be right back." I smiled removing my hand from Enola's jeans. I left her standing completely confused. As I walked into the house, I chuckled, hearing my phone buzz. What the fuck was that? I smiled and texted her back quickly: I guess you'll just have to find out... I peaked out the window at the end of the hall to see Enola excusing herself, holding up her cup. She must've told Stella and Julian that she needed another drink. I smirked and hurried to our bedroom.

I stood behind the door waiting for Enola. I could hear her footsteps on the stairs and coming down the hall. I tried to control my laughter as the door to our room swung open.
"Harry, what the..."Enola started to yell at me but I cut her off with a passionate kiss. I closed the door and pushed her up against it. "Harry, what is going on?" She breathed heavily as I traced her neck with slow, soft kisses. I slid my hands down her sides to her rear. I pulled her closer and returned my lips to hers. She moaned quietly as I ran my hands up her body to her breasts. I gripped her flesh firmly but without hurting her. "Oh Christ, Harry, we can't do this right now." She whimpered burying her hands in my hair.
"Says who? It's our house. It's your party. It's your birthday." I murmured kissing down her jawline to her neck once more. She sighed heavily and slid her hands down my back. "I don't plan on making love to you." I whispered, smiling against her skin. I pulled my body away from hers. I pushed her jacket off her shoulders. She gazed at me with curious eyes as I started to unbutton her floral blouse. "Do you remember when I came to visit you in LA? Charles was at a business dinner and we were out of our minds drunk?" Enola nodded biting her lip. I smirked a bit as I unbuttoned that last black button on her blouse. I carefully pulled her shirt off her arms. "I was thinking about that." I smirked pressing my forehead to hers. She tried to place her mouth on mine but I stopped her.
She whimpered, "Harry."
"What, Noli?" I kissed her ear lightly. "Tell me what you want, baby." I commanded unbuttoning her jeans. She gasped as I worked my hand into her panties. I stroked her clit a bit harder than normal. "You're so wet already." I chuckled quietly. Enola pursed her lips to contain a moan. "Tell me Noli. Tell me what you want. You have to say it." I instructed her lowly.
