Finally Jessica got Niall still and she drove to his place. Half an hour later and they arrived to Niall's place. He lived by himself since their parents were killed in a car accident when he was 10 years old.
*flashback*
When his parents are out, Niall had to stay with his grandma, grandpa and Greg back in Ireland.
They received the news the next morning when two police officers knocked on the door and told them the terrible news. He couldn't believe it.
He didn't want to see anybody. he ran out of the house at night when everybody were asleep.
He ran as fast as his legs could take him through an alley. He saw 4 shadows going towards him. When Niall saw the shadows properly it took him by surprise to see 4 well build up man with tattoos all over their arms and chest. He was terrified.
"Hello little fella, what are you doing down there? Did you lost your mommy?" one of the men said with a mocking tone.
"No, and that is none of your business " niall replied braverly.
"Feisty... I like that. What is your name?"
"Niall" he replied shortly.
"Well niall, come with me."
The man- whose name was Mark- took Niall under his wing. Niall learnt that Mark was one of the most fearful gang leader in the area. Everyone respected him.
He was powerful. He had business in and out of Ireland, and you know what 'business' I'm talking about. The illegal business.
6 years later, Niall wanted to change for good, he didn't want to do this anymore. One night he had enough of this crap. He packed everything he had and went to Marcus. (one of the guys that he meet that night when he ran away) He knocked on the door. He waited for a few minutes and finally the door was opened.
"What do you fu.... oh hello kiddo! What are you doing here?"
Niall quickly grabbed a see-through bag that contained the white powder.
He throws it to Marcus and he court it before it hit the cold\dirty floor. "What is this?" Marcus said in surprise.
"Tell Mark the deal is off. I'm out"
Marcus chuckled evilly
"do you think it's that easy to get out?" he questioned
"I don't care. I've done my work here" said Niall bravely
Niall turn around, leaving Marcus on his door step of his mansion. After all he was one of the fourth most richest gang leader in the area. It began to rain furiously.
"Don't think the deal is off pretty boy! We will find you and you will pay, wheatear you like it or not!" Marcus shouted angrily.
Niall ran as fast as he could. Panting he made his way over the bus station. If he had Luck his grandmother would still live in Mullingar. if she didn't, he wouldn't know where to go anymore. His grandma, grandpa and his big brother Greg were the only family he had left.
When he finally reached the front door .so many memories came back to his head. His first kiss. His first Christmas with all his family... the night that he received the terrible news... that kills. "You have to move on. You have to be strong. You can't let people now that you're weak. You have to survive this!" he said to himself.
Niall knocked on the door softly. Nothing. He knocked again a little bit louder this time, he waited a few seconds and the door opened revealing a very confused and sleepy Greg. Rubbing his sleepy eyes Greg said
"Yes? How can I help you?"
"G-g-Greg? Is that you? Greg is Niall! ... I came back" tears started rolling down his face. He couldn't contain his emotions no more. He was finally home.
"N-Niall..." he whispered "Niall is it really you?!" Greg asked emotionally
"yeah, I guess" niall said
Greg quickly let Niall inside. Attacking him with a hug. He couldn't believe that his little brother was here. HE WAS FINAALLY HERE! After all these years searching for him. He was finally here.
Niall's grandma came rushing down the stairs while putting on a jacket. She couldn't believe what it was in front of her...
*end of flashback*

The next day Niall woke up in his room with a massive hangover. He layed still in his bed for a bit. He felt this stomach rumble and he rushed over to the toilet. He opened the lid of the toilet, kneel on the floor, and let all the alcohol out of his system. He took a shower to wake up a bit. After he finished and put all this clean clothing back on. He saw a note laying on his nightstand table. He took it and read it.
"Dear Niall,
I warned you that the deal wasn't off. If you want to see your pretty friends again, meet me at the Midland Western Lake at midday. If you're late your friend will pay"
No... no,no,no, this can't be true! They couldn't have Jessica.... Could they?
Niall stared to panic. He glances at the clock on nightstand and it read 11:45 am. He had to get there quickly. He grabbed his car keys and rushed over his car. The meeting place was 10 minuted away from his place. He could get there in time. He had to. He got into the car and put the keys in ignitions....Nothing.
"WHAT?! THIS CANT BE HAPPENING" he shouted frustrated
He tried again on the car finally started, he didn't even put his seatbelt on; he just speeded down the road as fast as he could. He didn't even want to imagine what they would do to her. Cold sweat started to fall down his forehead. He couldn't even concentrate on driving. He wanted to see her.
When he finally arrived to the place and parked his car. He started to look everywhere for them. He was desperate to find her. There was an elderly couple seating down on a bank in front of the lake, Niallsaw them and he asked them if they saw a brunette girl with 4 men passing by. The elderly couple said that they saw someone like Niall have described.
They saw them walking up the hill that was a few feet away from where Niall was. He thanked them and rushed up the hill. A terrifying scream and a loud noise disoriented Niall for just a second. It sounded like a gun.
"Jessica... JESSICA" Niall shouted
He started to panicked. He ran as fast as his legs could take him up the hill. When he finally reached the top of the hill, Jessica was found lifelessly on the floor. A pond of blood started to form around Jessica's body, he couldn't believe it.
"No...no,no,no,no Jessica!" he rushed over to her.
"Jessica baby, you're going to be ok. Stay with me , please stay with me" Niall begged her.
"Niall" Jessica coughed.
"Baby. You're going to be ok. Just breath"
"Niall.... I'm going to be ok. Don't worry about me. Niall listen ... I want you to be happy without me ok?"
"W-WHAT?! ARE YOU EVEN LISTENIG TO YOURE SELF?! YOU ARE GOING TO GET THROUGH THIS! YOU ARE GOING TO SURVIVE! WE WERE SUPPOSE TO BE TOGETHER FOR EVER....you promised!" Niall whispered.
"I know..... just ... don't forget about me... you will get through this"
"no..NO! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME! NOT NOW!"
"I love you Niall....." she said while taking her last breath.
Niall saw the colour of her the beautiful face been take away in front of him, and he couldn't do anything.
"Please.... don't leave me..."
Niall hugged her lifeless body while he cried his heart out. a chuckle made him stop. he new who it was.
"Well horan, I must confessed that this is really touchy. You have feelings after all" Mark said coldly.
"Why... WHY DID YOU KILL HER? SHE DIDN'T DO ANY HARM TO YOU! YOU ARE GONNA PAY FOR THIS YOU SON OF A BI-"
Niall stumble back holding his left cheek. Blood was coming out of his mouth.
"DON'T TALK TO ME LIKE THAT HORAN! YOU KNOW DAMN WELL HOW THIS WORKS!" he shouted angrily "You know damn well the rules, if you quit for no reason you have to talk to me first and I decide if the deal is off or not! "
Niall was breathing heavily, cold sweat running down his forehead, he just witnessed the love of his life been taken away just like that. This can't be happening. This must be a stupid dream. Yeah ... that's it! This is just a nightmare. Any minute now I will wake up with Jessica lying down next to me on my bed. We will make breakfast together and just watch "Friends" on the telly.
A sharp pain on his abdominal took him back to reality. Mark and the others were brutally beating him up.
Niall just took it all in. he couldn't even move, he couldn't even defend himself. This is it; this is the end of my life. I'm not going to see the crew again; I'm not going to be able to see my family again. I won't be able to go to Uni or prom with Jessica anymore; get married with her and have children of our own. A sharp pain on his head knocked him out unconscious.
*end of flashback*
"Na.. I'm good umm"
"Paige"
"Right... Paige. I must be going now. Look my friends are calling me and I have to go. Bye"
Niall rushed over to the kitchen and immediately spotted Liam serving a glass of water for himself. After all he wasn't allow to drink because he was the driver for the night.
"Are you alright mate? You look like you've seen a ghost"
"Yeah, I'm alright... I just need a drink. Can you pass me that bottle of Corona?"
Liam passed the beer bottle to Niall.The cold liquid ran down his throat refreshing the thirst that he felt. He was supposed to have a good time. But he just had to remember Jessica. He couldn't sleep for days since that day. His family were concerned about him. He couldn't eat or get out of his room for days. He wouldn't even take a shower. He was depressed; he didn't know what to do with his life now. Everything was a disaster. But that is all in the pass now. He thought.
But what he didn't know is that someone was coming to his life to stay...
...Will he ever move on?... Will he ever forget about her?
