Tattoed Heart (N.H AU)

-Niall's P.O.V-
We arrived at Liam's house- yes he has a house to himself- and I made my way over to his bedroom where all the boys were changing into their swimming suits. After that, we all made our way over to his backyard were a big pool with summer chairs and foods on tables were expecting us. It was Friday after all and we had to do something.
I decide to seat down for a bit and just eat some nachos and just enjoy the sun. You have to get the most of London's sun since it only comes once in a while. I felt a presence beside me. I turn my head to my right to see who it was. Zeena was seating next to me with cookies on her plate.
"Why are you here? You should be in the pool with everyone else" I said to her taking my sunglasses off.
"Well I decide to make you some company since you are the only one here alone eating all the food." That is what I like about her. She was this caring and sweet person that you could talk about the most serious thing and she will always make you smile no matter what. Liam was a lucky man to have her.
"Anyway, I wanted to ask you something."
"What is it?" She asked putting her place of cookies down on her legs. She whipped her mouth with a napkin and turn to face me. "Im listening"
"Well... I was wondering, who that girl was. the one that you were walking with when we picked you up from school?"
Her eyes widened. Her yaw opened to say something but nothing came out of it.
"Are you ok Zeena?" I asked worried
"Y-y-yeah, im alright, well Im taken back, I never expected that kind of question."
"Shoot I knew I shouldn't asked you that" I said while standing up.
"No Niall seat down, I didn't meant to embarrase you, but to be honest I never expected you to ask for her." Zeena said frankly
"I know im taken back too... since that day... you know what day, I've never laid eyes on another woman... but when I looked at her, I knew she was different from the others. " she stayed silenced for a few seconds, she seems lost in thoughts.
"Well, never mind, you can go back with the other, I shouldn't never sad that to you" I said getting up from the chair and heading back inside to watch TV.
"Niall wait! Sit down please"
I sat down across from her. She took a deep breath and spoke "her name is Summer Collins; she is from America, California. She moved here because her dad was promoted to manager of one of the new Iceland Foods here in London. Today was her first day at school"

"Flashback*
They were chatting when the bell of the school rang loudly. Seconds later, people started to appear in the front gates of the school wanting to get home as soon as possible. They spotted Zeena's long hair; she was walking with a girl that he has never seen before. She was cute. With her flowerily skirt, black long sleeve blouse, her short black boots and her natural make up; she looked gorgeous. "WAIT WHAT?! Are you even listening to yourself NIALL?" my conscious told me." She will never be yours! Just look at yourself!"
My conscious was right. How could I be so stupid to think that I had a chance with her? With all your tattoos and your pricings that I have, she will probably think that im trouble and im not good enough for her. Besides I made a vow to never be with a girl since Jessica passed away.
*flashback end*
"Niall... NIALL!" Zeena snapped at me.
"Uhu? You were saying something?"
"Aww Niall has a love at first sight!" Zeena said loudly, everyone turned to look at us. GREAT now everyone knows what I feel.... Wait... what am I feeling? Is it love at first sight? I've never had one; even when I first meet Jessica, I never found her attractive but when I finally got to know her I saw her beautiful a person within her and that's how I fell in love with her.
"He's blushing guys!" Louis stated loudly.
"Shut up Louis! I'm not!
"Oh yes you are Niall! Just look at you. You're as bright as a tomato!"
True I was blushing. I've never blush like this for a girl before. This is strange. Every time I think about her, my heart starts beating faster, my stomach feels like hundreds of butterflies are fluttering all over the place. Like the air suddenly has more oxygen. I want to know more about the girl, I need to see her again.
I suddenly stood up heading inside. I head a smacking sound from behind and someone saying "good work genius" when I was inside I felt a presence behind me. I abruptly stopped on my tracks, and they stopped as well. I turned my head to the right to reveal who this person was.
"Niall... are you alright mate?" it was Zayn.
"Yeah I just..." I let out a frustrated sign. "Im scared to fall for someone Zayn, that's what is happening... I don't want to hurt anyone..." I let out an annoyed groan.
"So is true... you do like her, don't you?"
"Im not sure, maybe it's just a stupid crush. The one that you forget about it quickly" I said grabbing a beer from the cooler and seating on the L shape couch with Zayn following behind me.
"I don't know what to do with this feeling within me... I haven't feel like this since.... "I stopped; I didn't want to speak about it, not now.
"I understand Niall, but have you ever thought that this is a sign for you to move on from you past?"
I stayed silence; thinking about what Zayn said. Maybe it was a sign, but I couldn't break a bow just like that for a girl that I don't even know, and she probably doesn't know that I exist. This whole situation is giving me a headache. I place my beer bottle on the little table that was in front of me; grabbing my head with both of my hands I shook my head in pure frustration.
"I don't know" that was all I could say at this time. I didn't know what I was feeling. Do I want to break the vow that I promise Jessica? Did I even what to know this girl? Is it really love at first sign?. All these question came rushing through my head, I was so confused right now, I didn't know what to do.
"You know what Nialler? Why don't you forget about this for a while and enjoy that day with all of us. Just to get things out of your mind for a bit? What do you say buddy?" I looked up from my hand that were covering my face and nodded my head in approval. Zayn smiled his award winning smile and stood up from my side, taking his beer bottle with him and extending a helping hand to me. I gladly accepted getting up from the couch as well and taking my bottle with me, heading back to where the party and my friends were.
When we emerged from inside the house everyone stopped talking and looked at me. Louis made his way over to me, "look mate, im sorry for what I said before, you know that I was only joking, having a laugh about it, im sorry if I hurt your feelings I-"he stopped right on his tracks when he saw me laughing. "What are you laughing at?" he asked
"Im sorry, it's just that you don't have to apologise Tommo, I took it too seriously, and it was my fault... now why is everybody so serious?! Is this a party or not?!" I yelled out loudly. Everybody cheered and laugh at the awkward situation we just had. Zayn is right I shouldn't worry too much about the subject, its better if you put your problems aside for a moment and just live life to the fullest. Maybe one day I'll see her again, and I hope it will be really soon.
