He will be the kind of man who wants to touch your belly all the time. He will crouch and whisper into her skin telling his tiny unborn child how excited he is to meet them.

He will read every baby book and walk into the room spouting off facts. “Babe, did you know that our baby is the size of a lima bean right now?”

He will tear up the first time he hears the heartbeat, smile so widely the first ultrasound where you can really start to see something. He will carry around the picture and show everyone even though it just looks like a blob to them because to him that’s his baby.

He will be completely enamored with the way your body is changing and growing. He will call you beautiful everyday. He’s the man that finds you even more attractive while pregnant because you are carrying his child, inside of you is a small piece of him and the miracle that you can create a life with your own flesh and blood with astound him.

There will be lots of belly kissing. Always one to the belly before he leaves the house and one every night before bed.
