Never Let You Go {Book 2}

Taylor’s been pretty upset these last few months after coming back home too. She misses Louis and feels super bad that Johannah hasn’t seen her daddy in like three months. They skype and face time so he can see her that way but it’s not the same. I’ve been helping her a lot with the baby since being back home. We’ve started our sophomore year which has been going ok so far. The teachers this year seem to be a lot nicer. Probably because they’ve heard of everything I’ve gone through this past year, losing my mom, losing my twins and Niall leaving me.

After school I go to my grandparents’ house to visit them. I pull onto the street and see Ambulances in front of Mr. and Mrs. Gallagher’s house

“Grandpa what happened?” I ask walking up to the house. He is of course sitting on the porch being nosy.

“Nigel fell in the shower and hit his head pretty hard on the sink as he went down. There was blood everywhere” grandpa says to me

“How’s Esther doing?” I ask

“Not sure, she was moved to a nursing facility two months ago it was only Nigel there, I’m surprised Niall didn’t tell you” he says

“Grandpa you know I don’t speak to Niall. He won’t ever answer my calls or texts. He’s too busy up Natasha’s ass now” I say to him

“Well maybe you should try calling him now to tell him about his grand dad, use my cell phone it’s in the house”

I go to get the phone and dial Niall’s number, he’s not going to answer I just know it and I don’t want to leave a message like that on his machine. Just as I was giving up hope he answered

“Hello” I hear his sweet voice say

“Niall, don’t hang up it’s your granddad” I say quickly before he hangs up on me

“Oh is it now?” he says bitterly

“Yes Niall he’s been taken to the hospital. My grandpa went to check on him and he’d fallen in the shower and hit his head very hard on the sink, he’s unconscious right now” I say

“Why are you calling me, couldn’t your grandpa of called me?” he asked coldly

“You know what Niall fuck you” I say hanging up on him

Just as I slammed the phone down my own phone started ringing

“Hello Harry” I say

“Hey love what’s going on?” he asked me

“Just got off the phone with Niall” I tell him

“Yeah I figured that we were all sitting down for dinner when his phone started going off. Sorry he’s being such an asshole.” Harry says

“Don’t apologize for him. If he was sorry he’d tell me he was”

Harry and Niall have sort of patched things up. I guess it’s easier to say they just stand each other now. They have to they are in the same band together; and just started their Take Me Home Tour. So they’ve been on the road a lot. Last night they had a show in Milan and are supposed to take two days off before flying from Milan to Glasgow.

“I miss you” Harry says

“I miss you too Harry, where’s Zayn?” I ask

“Right here across from me why?”

“Just give him the phone real quick please” I say

“Cassie love how are you?” Zayn asks happily

“I’m ok hey listen, I just spoke to Niall on the phone, and his granddad was just taken to the hospital unresponsive. He fell in his shower and hit his head on the sink. So can you please let Niall know that I am going to the hospital to sit with him and make sure he’s ok” I ask

“Yea no problem just call me on my cell when you find something out. I don’t mind being your guys’ referee” he says laughing

“Ok thank you so much Zayn”

“What was that about?” Harry asks me

“Nothing” I say letting out a breath

“Cassie what’s wrong?” harry always knew when something was bugging me

“I’m ok I promise. I’ll call you in a little while alright" I say

“Ok pretty girl I miss you… bye” Harry says hanging up the phone

Harry has been trying very hard to get me to be his girlfriend he’s always telling me how pretty I am and that he misses me. To be honest I miss him too and I miss someone telling me how pretty I am. He thinks because Niall moved on that I am ready for the same. Which I kind of want to be with him too but I don’t want to be rude about it, I mean Niall and I were engaged. But then again he didn’t have any problem moving on.
