“Nobody sees, nobody knows. We are a secret, can’t be exposed. That’s how it is, that’s how it goes. Far from the others, close to each other. That’s when we uncover.” I sang along to the song that was playing on my iPhone as we drove to the prison. Louis had called ahead and asked when we could come, and apparently the visiting hours were just when we were going to arrive so we jumped into the car at once. Louis had this really advanced car, according to me anyways, so my phone was plugged into it at the moment.

“My asylum, my asylum. Is in your arms, when the worlds gives heavy burdens. I can bare a thousand tons. On your shoulder, on your shoulder. I can reach an endless sky, Feels like paradise.” Louis joined in and when the next chorus came he looked over at me with a big smile on his lips. I blushed slightly as I turned the volume down and turned towards him a little bit.

“So you DO like it?” I punched him lightly on his arm and he faked being hurt. I rolled my eyes and waited for his response. Before when I listened to this song he told me he didn’t like it, but here he was singing along with it. After I had spoken he quickly looked back onto the road and sat quiet for a few seconds.

“I didn’t like it because it reminded me of we could never have. How we could never tell the world about us.” I smiled affectionately and touched his hand on the steering wheel. He quickly gave me a happy smile before looking back at the road. He intertwined our hands and sighed in content.

“Thank goodness that’s not the case anymore.” I smiled and leaned my head back on the seat. He replied with a simple ‘yeah’ and we stayed quiet until we reached the prison.

If you have ever been to a prison then you know it is, well let’s just call it something else. The hallways were in a dull grey and every door had an electronic lock on it. Just being in here made me a little nervous, the feeling of being trapped was creeping in on me. We had driven into the visiting parking lot and had just gone through the security machines. I was holding onto Louis’ hand tightly as we stood waiting for the chief. He kept on smiling down at me and squeezing my hand as if to tell me it was going to be alright.

“Miss.” The chief walked up behind us and nodded to us as we turned around. “Mr Tomlinson, you were the one who called?” He smiled and Louis stretched his hand towards the man.

“Yes that was me. Although it is Johanna’s friend we are meeting.” The chief nodded his head and waved over a guard that was standing by one of the big doors. He walked over and nodded towards us.

“Take these two into the visiting area. They are here to see Miss Jones.” The guard looked at us surprised and nodded before telling us to follow him. We did so and walked through several locked doors. When we finally reached a room where a bunch of those typical round tables were he pointed to one of them and then left us. We sat down and talked a little bit about nothing special and soon the door opened. In walked the guard with a chocolate brown girl in an orange prison suit. As soon as she spotted me her face broke into a huge smile and I could tell she had to fight the urge of running to me. When she reached me she pulled me into a tight hug and held for a really long time.

“It’s nice to see you meatball.” I laughed at her nickname for me but decided to scold her for speaking Swedish to me.

“Dina, this is Louis. He’s English so don’t speak Swedish.” I winked at her and she giggle as she pulled Louis into a tight hug too. She has always been a very touchy person. This quality made her good at being a pocket thief.

“Want to sit down?” Louis spoke and put his arm around me waist. Dina noticed and smiled fondly towards me when Louis looked away.

“Yeah sure.” We sat down and I instantly picked up her hand to hold. I wanted to feel her here with me, since it had been so long since we last spoke.

“I’m sorry for not replying to your letter.” She shrugged and let out a small laugh. When she spoke she waved her hands around her.

“I’ve been busy.” She placed her hands in her lap and looked at me with a small smile. I could see it in her eyes that she was a little afraid of this place but I knew she could handle it. I had never once in my life met another person who was as strong as her.

“Speaking of this lovely place, what did you do to end up in here?” She blew out air through her nose and waved her hand at me.

“Last boyfriend stole a bunch of shit, I sold them and accidently ended up in a small gang fight.” She shrugged once more and looked at me with sorry eyes. “I kind of shot a cop.” I gasped and shook my head at her.

“That is so bad Booh.” I sighed and she nodded.

“Good thing is he survived but that doesn’t take away from the fact that I shot him.” She tried to smile but I could tell she regretted it deeply. She sat up a little bit straighter and looked between Louis and I. “So, obviously I’ve missed a lot.” I laughed lightly and nodded.

“You could say that.” I looked at Louis and he nodded his head to tell me it was alright. “I moved in with Louis and Harry a year ago but moved out just before you sent your letter.” I smiled at her and she grabbed my hand once more.

“Why?” I looked at the table and sighed deeply before speaking.

“Michael.” I noticed her body froze and an angry expression appeared on her face.

“I heard a rumour.” I nodded and she continued. “I heard he’s coming here.” I nodded once more.

“He found me. For the last six months I’ve been living with him. And working for his new best friend Robbie.” I looked at the table as I felt her hand tighten around mine. Louis’ arm tightened around my waist.

“Did he…?” She couldn’t quite figure out how to form the sentence but I nodded.

“He is in for rape, abuse and murder of an infant.” I shook my head and heard her gasp. I looked up at her and she was staring at me wide eyed.

“You were pregnant?” I nodded but then smiled as I placed a hand on Louis’.

“But he killed it. And I’m glad he did.” She shook her head and smiled slightly as she looked at Louis.

“You’re nothing like him are you?” Louis didn’t move or say anything. He just sat there staring at Dina for a long moment.

“I would give my life for her.” He said nothing more. Dina responded with nothing more than a headshake. I was in total awe when I understood she approved of Louis. She had always been the kind of girl that hated all the boys I dated but wanted me to like all the ones she dated. I almost laughed but decided to stay quiet.

“So Jojo.” I groaned out loud at her stupid nickname and responded with a simple ‘yeah’. “When I get out, who knows when that is, you and I are going shopping! And you Mr Pop star.” She pointed at Louis and he smiled. “Yes, I know you’re famous and shit.” She shrugged to show she didn’t care. “You’re paying because I will be broke.” He laughed a little but nodded to her demand.

“I think we can arrange that.” I looked at Louis and silently thanking him for that. He kissed my cheek really quick but froze when the door we came through opened.

“Louis…” My voice trailed off as I noticed Robbie walking into the room. I quickly looked at Louis and saw pure hatred wash over his face. “Louis, look at me.” He didn’t respond so I slapped him slightly and called his name once more. “Louis!” This time a little louder. I soon realized I had said it too loud because Robbie noticed us.

“Aah, if it isn’t the little slut and her cockroaches.” He laughed and I saw Louis clench his fists. Dina turned around and I could tell she was pissed too.

“What did you say, Mouse?” He looked like he got angry when she called him that pointed at me and ignored the remark.

“She is a slut, forced me into a blowjob and then tells the world I raped her.” His voice was so thick with sarcasm that I began to get mad as well.

“How about you shut the fuck up?” She fake smiled and he laughed at her. Guards were walking into the room and before anyone could reach them Dina grabbed Robbies shoulders and kneed him. He truly squealed like a little mouse and doubled over in pain. A guard grabbed Dina from behind and just before they could drag her out of the room she shouted to us.

“I love you meatball!” I smiled waved to her as they pulled her away.

“Love you more Booh!” She smiled and then she was gone. I turned to Louis and he looked at Robbie when he was being dragged away. I placed a hand on his chest and heard Robbie laugh.

“I heard he fucked her in front of you! Was it hot? I bet it was, watching her suffer while he gave her what she deserved!” I saw Louis staring to move forward but stopped him with my entire body.

“Louis, don’t listen to him.” I turned to the guard that was holding him and yelled at him. “Can you get that monster out of here? Can’t you see he is making this man upset?” He instantly nodded and dragged Robbie out of the room. I looked back at Louis and saw him watching me.

“I want to go home.” I nodded and smiled as the same guard came into the room to escort us out of here. We followed him in silence to the parking lot and I thanked him before he disappeared into the big building again. We jumped into the car and Louis started driving. When we no longer could see the prison any more he spoke up. “Johanna.” I looked at him and frowned because he looked so sad.

“Yes Louis.” I tried to comfort him but when I placed a hand on him he shook his head.

“I just…” He paused and swallowed hard before speaking again. “I never want to go back there.” The frown on my face became deeper but I nodded.

“Of course Lou.” I looked out my window and soon felt Louis hand grab a hold of my own.

“I’m sorry.” I shook my head and squeezed his hand softly. “I don’t think I’ll be able to be in the same building as those monsters and not do anything.” I smiled and nodded even though he wasn’t looking at me.

“I know Lou. And I understand.” He looked at me quickly and took a deep breath.

“But I don’t want you to go alone, that’s not safe.” I smiled and lifted his hand to my mouth. I kissed the back of it and then pressed it against my chest.

“I’ll force one of the boys to come.” He nodded and lifted my hand to his mouth to kiss it. I smiled and looked out the window once again.

Before it has always been me who has been broken. Now the roles were reversed and it was my time to save him. He needed it, he needed me to be strong and not to fail him. I guess I have already told you about how much I love Louis Tomlinson. But in the situation at hand, I think it is time to freshen up our memory. My love for Louis Tomlinson was like leafs in the wind. You can feel the strong wind there, the strong love. You could also see how much there was between us. He could tell me with a simple look that no matter what happens, he would be there. And I would always respond with a look telling him ‘ditto’.
