29. We All Break Down At Times
Niall’s POV
‘’Daddy! Daddy! Mommy!’’ The screaming kept on going for a little bit. I thought it was just Tori begging for us to wake up, but then I realized she wasn’t shaking me or jumping on the bed.
‘’Ni..’’ Jana groans light against my chest, some how we had ended up facing each other, me holding her as close as I could get her. ‘’Daddy!’’ But then I heard the tone of Tori’s voice. She was crying.
‘’What the fuck?” I mumble to myself as I quickly kiss the top of Jana’s head before releasing her and climbing out of the bed. I was just in my boxers, but I didn’t care. I didn’t have any morning wood today, so that was good I guess.
‘’Baby girl?” I say as I open the bathroom door. There my little angel was, sitting on her knees as she puked into the toilet bowl. ‘’Daddy.’’ She mumbles lightly as I reach her. I kneel down so that I could comfort her more.
‘’Baby doll.. you okay?’’ I whisper and she just shakes her head lightly. ‘’Okay, just calm down.. shh.’’ I whisper lightly. ‘’Niall?” I heard Jana’s voice say. I look over my shoulder at her. She was in the door way, a hand on her stomach.
‘’She doesn’t look good.’’ I sigh out as Jana slowly makes her way over to us. ‘’Its five a.m…’’ She mumbles as she bends down just a little so she can put a hand on my shoulder. ‘’I know.’’ I say lightly in return.
‘’Mommy.’’ Tori whispers lightly as she leans up and wipes her mouth off with her shirt. ‘’You okay, sweetie?’’ Jana asks sweetly. ‘’No.. my tummy still hurts.’’ Tori tells us. I nod gently as I continue to rub circles into her small back.
‘’Niall..’’ Jana grunts lightly as her hand leaves my shoulder. ‘’You okay, baby?’’ I ask as I look up at her. Just great, both of them aren’t feeling well. ‘’My back hurts.’’ Jana sighs lightly.
‘’Go lay back down..’’ I tell her as I stand up for a short minute or to. ‘’No.. I want you to come with me.’’ She begs as she grabs my wrist. ‘’Baby..’’ I whisper before I look down at Tori, she’s still puking.
‘’I’ll be there soon, okay? I promise.’’ I kiss her lips gently to assure her every thing will be okay. ‘’Okay. I love you.’’ She mumbles as she returns the kiss to me. ‘’I love you too, baby. Now go lie down.’’ I say and she nods before she turns and goes towards the door.
My knees hit the cold tile floor again and my hand returns to its previous location on Tori’s back and my motions continue on her little back. ‘’Its okay baby girl, Daddy’s here.’’ I sigh as she continues to throw up.
‘’Shh… its okay.’’ I whisper again as I kiss the top of her head lightly before continuing to rub her back. I found out that it calmed her down, she began to slow down on the vomiting, but it still came over and over again, no matter how hard my Princess tried to stay strong.
We all break at times, and right now was one of her times. My poor little baby.
Jana’s POV
‘’Niall.’’ I mumble lightly as I nudge his shoulder with my head. We were sitting on the couch, but he was falling asleep. ‘’Hmm?’’ He grunts lightly as he brings his head back up straight.
‘’Don’t go to sleep.’’ I sigh lightly. ‘’Sorry baby.. I just.. didn’t get all.. the sleep I needed.’’ He yawned lightly. ‘’I know babe, I told you to go back to bed if you were sleepy.’’ I remind him.
‘’I know.. I.. I just don’t want to leave you.. down here… alone.’’ He sighs between small yawns. ‘’Baby, I’ll go upstairs with you. Okay? I have some stuff to do online anyways, okay?’’ I insist and he just mumbles a reply, I couldn’t understand it though.
But I assumed it was a ‘yes’ because he stood up after removing his arm from around my shoulder. He grabs my hand and pulls me up. Soon, we were going up the stairs towards the bedroom.
10:00a.m. rolled around fast. Tori finally went back to sleep about fifteen minutes ago, and now it was time for me and Niall to catch up on that well deserved sleep we missed.
Besides, I think I might doze off for a few minutes anyways. I wasn’t feeling too good at the moment. I’d never admit it, not now at least. Niall was already so stressed out, I’d hate to make things worse.
If that was even possible at times.
