That Night

Niall’s POV
Jana and I got Harry to watch the kids for the night, they’re also going to stay with him because I wasn’t sure what time we’d get back, and plus Harry wanted some bonding time with them, so I didn’t mind.

But of course, on the other hand, I was worried sick from the second I dropped them off. Tori’s still on it, and I was completely afraid something might happen to my angel. But then again, Harry knew what to do and he would never let anything happen to her.

As of now, however, Jana and I were sitting at a table. It wasn’t a booth, so I was upset that I couldn’t sit as close as I wanted to. Jana was still a little upset because of the way I acted earlier. And to be honest, I didn’t care about that.

‘’You better behave yourself, and watch your mouth.’’ Jana says straightforward as she looks over at me. ‘’I will.’’ I mumble back and she just rolls her eyes. I roll mine back as I look away once she was occupied by checking her phone. That woman worried more than I did. She was constantly checking for emergency messages from Harry.

My eyes wonder to the front entrance of the restaurant, and I soon regret looking. There he was, that son of a bitch. I know, I know. Its stupid for me to not want to be here. And its stupid for me to be a bitch about it, but I wanted nothing to do with him. We’re not on bad terms or anything, I just hate him for what he done to my girls. Hate him.

But if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here with Jana or Tori. But still, fuck him.

‘’He’s here.’’ I mumble lightly to Jana. Just as she looks up to see, he arrived at the table, and he wasn’t alone. Some girl was with him, probably the next one he’ll bang and ditch.

‘’Hey Jana.. Niall.’’ He mumbles lightly to us. ‘’Hey.’’ Jana smiles kindly, but as for, I just ignore him as he sits down, directly across from me. ‘’Sorry to be rude, this is Gina, my fiancé.’’ He says, motioning over to her.

Jana replies to her, but I didn’t care to listen to what she said. I tried to block her voice out, tried to block his out, but I couldn’t keep his out. Unfortunately for me. ‘’How are you guys doing?’’ Michael asks, looking at Jana.

‘’Fine, and you?” She says in return. ‘’I’m doing well.’’ He nods lightly. ‘’I saw a picture of your kids in a magazine, they are incredibly adorable!’’ Gina says with a bright smile. I lightly smile as she glances at me, but I leave the talking up to Jana.

I knew if I talked out loud, I would speak my mind. But in reality, I knew I was jealous that he had gotten to Jana before I could, and that pisses me off a lot. And, plus, he knocked her up and just left with out a care in the world. But then again, he didn’t have a problem with me, well not one that I know of.

‘’How much longer until your due?’’ Gina asks Jana. ‘’A few weeks.’’ She replies. ‘’Are you excited? I bet it’ll be cute!’’ ‘’Yeah, we’re really excited. Aren’t we, Ni.’’ Jana says. I don’t reply though, I just stare at my glass of water.

‘’Niall.’’ Jana’s voice said words to me, but my ears decided not to let them process through my mind. ‘’Anyways.’’ Jana sighs loudly, ignoring me. She knew I didn’t want to be here. I’d rather be with Tori and Taylor than to have to stare at this dickhead’s ugly face.

Okay, the truth. He wasn’t ugly. But he still didn’t look as good as me, the truth. I guess I’m only jealous because I’m afraid Jana will start liking him again, and he’ll like her. And I don’t want to lose my girl. I don’t. I won’t.

‘’How long have you been engaged?’’ Jana asks. ‘’Seven months.’’ Michael’s voice was like a knife to the chest, it hurt to hear and it was painful because I didn’t want to hear it.

‘’When are you planning to tie the knot?’’ Jana says. ‘’In May.’’ Gina says. ‘’We haven’t picked a date yet.’’ Michael adds in. ‘’No one cares.’’ I wanted to say that, but I didn’t.

‘’Um.. how’s Tori doing?’’ Michael says to Jana. But then, I felt something perk up inside of me, and I decided to speak out. ‘’Why the hell do you care?’’ I snap, not understanding why he suddenly decided to ask that.

‘’Niall.’’ Jana says annoyed. ‘’I-I was just asking..’’ He shrugs likely. ‘’Like I said, why the hell do you care?’’ ‘’Um.. So, Jana.. Michael’s told me a lot about you. And I didn’t think you’d be as beautiful as he had said.’’ Gina said. Thank you for saying this.

‘’Why the hell you calling my wife beautiful?’’ I ask, raising my eyebrows in shock. ‘’Dude, I didn’t do anything.’’ He holds his hands up in surrender. ‘’Niall.’’ Jana says once again, but like I have been for the past few minutes, I ignore her.

‘’Well thank you, you’re beautiful too.’’ Jana says to Gina in response. ‘’Oh, and your little boy, he’s adorable! I saw a photo of him and Niall in a magazine, and he looks just like him!’’ Gina says with a smile.

‘’Thank you, and he does.’’ Jana replies. ‘’But, um, Jana… How’s the kids?’’ Michael says, looking away from me. ‘’They’re-‘’ ‘’Once again, why the fuck do you care about my daughter? Huh? You think you’re gonna fucking take her away again or something, because I promise you aren’t coming near her.’’ I snap.

‘’Niall, shut up.’’ Jana groans, annoyed and embarrassed because of me. But I don’t give a shit. ‘’No, I never-‘’ ‘’Again?’’ Gina furrows her eyebrows lightly. I look over at her and I knew for a damn fact she didn’t know.

‘’Oh, you don’t know, do you? I’ll be honored to tell you since you’re dickhead fiancé decided to leave that small detail out.’’ I say. ‘’Niall James Horan, shut your mouth.’’ Jana says, hitting the side of my thigh with her hand, but once again, I ignore her.

“What detail, Michael?’’ Gina turns and asks him. ‘’I.. I um.’’ He mumbles, but doesn’t continue on, instead, he just glances at Jana. ‘’Well you see, Gina. What Michael forgot to mention was that he-‘’ I’m getting sick of this.

‘’Niall, shut up!’’ I ignore Jana once more and pick up where I was cut off, ‘’He banged my wife up a few years ago and left her on her own. And he knows I hate his fucking guts, but yet he dares to come near me.’’ I tell her.

‘’You slept with Jana.. while she was married!’’ Gina says, shocked and confused at the same time. ‘’No, she wasn’t married.’’ Michael says. ‘’You see that he didn’t deny the other part.’’ I add into this.

“Wait.. what?’’ Gina puts her hands on her forehead and sighs to herself. ‘’Gina, I didn’t want to tell you because I didn’t want you to hate me.’’ He sighs. ‘’Niall, you’re such an asshole.’’ Jana groans to me.

‘’What happened?’’ She asks, removing her hands. ‘’I.. um.. I.. I.. Jana and I.. um.. we..’’ He stops with a huff. ‘’Since you want to open your damn mouth, why don’t you tell her. And thanks for ruining my night.’’ Michael says to me as he stands and heads towards the bathroom.

‘’While your piss ass boy friend goes and cries in the bathroom, I’ll tell you, Gina.’’ I say and she nods, still confused though, I can see it on her face. ‘’Michael raped Jana-‘’ ‘’He didn’t rape me!’’ Jana says, annoyed at this.

‘’Well, still. He got her pregnant and being the pussy he is, He fucking left her to fend for herself.’’ I tell her shortly and simply. ‘’Wait.. Tori’s.. not..’’ Gina says, but doesn’t finish. ‘’No.. Niall’s not Tori’s biological father. She’ll never know that though.’’ Jana sighs and Gina just sits there, confused.

‘’He didn’t want to raise his kid. And in my eyes, that’s one sorry ass guy. I don’t give a shit how old he was, he should have been there.’’ I say. ‘’It doesn’t matter though, don’t let that.. or this night.. effect your relationship, Gina.’’ Jana says, trying to be a life savior.

Michael returns, sitting down and not looking my way. Good, I don’t wanna see his fuck ugly face anyways. ‘’How ‘bout you just leave?’’ Michael suddenly says to me. ‘’You know what, I will. Because unlike you, I actually wanna take care of my kids.’’ I say as I stand up.

‘’Niall.. Please.’’ Jana sighs as she grabs my hand. I jerk away, not trying to be mean to her, but I was done with tonight. Completely, fucking done. ‘’Oh, and Gina. I hope when you have kids that you have a good family to support you, because that dick won’t.’’ I say before leaning down to Jana.

‘’Niall, please baby.. Just apologize.’’ She mumbles. ‘’No, I’m done with this. I love you, I’m going to Harry’s.’’ I whisper back before kissing her good, just so I can piss off the bitch even more.

‘’I love you too.’’ She sighs lightly just as I lean up and walk off, pissed and annoyed at the world, at this night, at that son of a bitch.

But thankfully, I can get this blazer off and relax with Harry and the kids. Okay, that sounded weird. But still. Relax, and away from that dick.
