The Next Day

It was Debbie’s birthday and during the course of chemotherapy my auntie has lost a lot of hair so she decided to go bold, for her birthday surprise I decided to shave my hair out all of it. I want Debbie to know that she is not only an auntie to me, she means so much more to me than that I cannot even begin to imagine my life without her in it. I don’t give one single damn whether I look ugly or less attractive because the people that will be judging me, will not understand what she went through I do understand and that is why I am bolding my hair to show her how much I care. I am also going to be donating all of my hair to the hospital for sick children that is going through cancer as well, at least I got to leave my life being this old maybe the kids that have cancer will not I want to make them smile in whatever way I can.

Niall: “Good morning… Rose what are you doing, where is your hair going?.”

Rose: “I have decided to shave my hair completely to support Debbie because she has been a role model to me through out my life. Seeing her go to chemotherapy and still being hopeful she can kick cancer’s ass, is making me want to shave my head completely.”

Niall: “I now know that I have not made the wrong decision in marrying you. Rose you are such a caring and kind human being, that is why our family is always blessed I hope God keeps on in my life for a long time or at least before I die.”

Rose: “Please don’t get me all emotional before Debbie’s celebration Niall you promised that we would die together, I want us to fie together because without you in my life I would want to die as well you give me so much hope in life. Your smile and love is what I yearn for when you are gone, you will still come back when you start military again and I will be waiting for you.”

5 Hours Later

Debbie is going to come through that door any minute from work she doesn’t know I took a day off from my job, to make this birthday a memorable one for her. We heard the door unlocking, we all yelled surprise her face lit up so much.

Debbie: “I am completely shocked at the moment it’s been so long since I have seen you all, I missed you all so much.” People started giving her hugs and having small talks with her, she finally came my way and she was on the verge of tears.

Rose: “Before you say anything about my hair I want you to know that I love you, I consider you more than an auntie you make me want to become a stronger women. The moment I knew one of the strongest women in my life has cancer it completely shattered my emotions, I couldn’t stand out of all the people in the world you would be the one having cancer. Despite that all I am so happy to see you here with us all of us, we all love you Debbie don’t you ever forget that.”

Niall: “I don’t want this to be a sad birthday party right now Debbie happy birthday it is your special day, lets enjoy it we have all your family in today so no more tears and sorrows lets enjoy this beautiful day when you were born happy birthday gorgeous.”

The rest of the party was nothing but pure entertainment and fun we all watched movies, played games and shared all our funny stories. Debbie had this huge smile on her face that I think nothing in the world could ever come close to replacing that God thank you for blessing me with a healthy and loving family.

So you guys what Rose did was a very bold and generous thing in my opinion, she shaved all her hair off to donate it to the children with cancer.
