Niall POV
Today’s training was so tiring all I wanted to do was to hear my wife’s voice and my child giggle at the background as I tell her wife how much I love her. I always keep a picture of the both of them under my pillow as I lay myself down to sleep, I stare at their beautiful smiling faces and I am at home again. “I will be back my angels just wait two more days”, I told myself that as I kissed them goodnight.
Easter break is so close so we are allowed to go back and see our families, I cannot wait to see them and give them a huge hug. I should really get some sleep because tomorrow the luntenant is going to give us a special mission, I am really anxious to know what this mission is.
Next Day
Luntenant Christopher: “Alright guys listen up we have a special mission we have to do, we are going to go to Iraq to fight in a war. Once Easter break is done we are going to fly out to Iraq, enjoy this holiday with your families let them know you are going to Iraq and I shall see you guys soon.”
I couldn’t believe what I just heard I lost my best friend last year in Iraq, I am not looking forward in fighting in Iraq I just hope that I come back safely to see my family again.
