Heartache Doesn't Last Forever
Chapter 3
DANI'S POV
A close encounter with Niall made things weird between us the next few days. We would give each other odd looks and only say "hi" or "sorry". At night Ireland would wonder if we loved eachother. I would tell her he still had feelings for her mom.
NIALL'S POV
I leaned on the counter as I finished cleaning dishes. Dani was on the high chair typing on her laptop. I looked back at her as I dried my hands. She looked up and her mouth opened, "Niall in sorry things are so awkward." "Ya me too its okay I need to love again." I spoke. She gave me a shocked look. "Ohhhh that's brave of you." She said shutting the laptop. She got up and passed by me. "Hey want to go downtown with me and stop at the bakery?" I said.
DANI'S POV
The bakery? I hadn't been there in five years. The girls were still there and Ahnna owned the bakery. I nodded as he put my jacket on. He always had done that for Hanna. I mean he was amazing to her. I didn't want her love to be effected.
We left Ireland with the neighbor and me and Niall got in the car. The drive there was quiet and so was down town. The bakery was not busy. Niall helped me out of the car and opened the door for me. "Oh my gosh!" Said Ahnna as she ran to me. "Hey guys." I said as I hug all them. A little girl that was about 4 hid behind Courtney. "Is this yours?" I questioned. She nodded, "Her name is CiCi." The little girl looked like a mix of Courtney and Liam. I bent down as I put my hand out to her, "hi CiCi." The little girl came close to me as I pulled her into a hug.
Niall and I got coffee and cupcakes and ate them. They tasted the same as Hanna's. Jenna pulled me aside as we finished, "Are you and Niall dating?" She asked. "No." I said shaking my head fast. "You seem cute together." She giggled. "Ya but I don't want to effect him." I said. She gave me another hug as I hugged Courtney and Ahnna. "Thanks guys." I said as I shut the door.
Niall walked beside me as our hips kept bumping into eachother. "Dani, I miss Hanna but." He said. "But what?" I shot back. "I need to move on." He said. "I know." I said. Then he curled his hand into mine. I looked down at them. His warm hands were touching mine.

What was I doing? Falling in love with my girlfriend's sister. But I felt like I was with Hanna again. Dani's hands were cold as they gripped mine. The street was dark and calm.
