Something Real
Chapter 1
Riley's POV
I was getting off the bus.
There it is, the house I grew up in.
It looks so much smaller now. Just when I took the first step on the lawn, my mum opened the door.
She looked so happy to see me. I dropped all my bags and ran up to her. I gave her the biggest hug anyone can get.
"I missed you so much." I whispered in her ear.
Just then my dad came out and I jumped on him. I didn't realize how much I missed them until I saw them.
"Where's Liam?" I asked.
"He's out with some friends, he'll be home later tonight." My mum said.
I can't believe it. I haven't seen him in almost a year. (A/N: she visits during holiday.)
Oh well I guess I'll see him tonight. My dad went to get my bags.
Me and my mum went to help. After I took all my bags up to my room, I looked around.
Wow. It looks the exact same way I left it 8 years ago.(A/N: When she visited she never really went up to her room. She always stayed out in the living room with her brother while they talked all night.)
I started to unpack my stuff. I'm so excited. I'm finally home. I know most people want to moveout when they turn 18. Nope. Not me. I haven't lived with my parents since I was 8 years old. I'm not going anywhere for at least a couple of years.
Except tonight. Tonight I'm going out. Since im 18, im finally old enough to drink.(A/N: For those who don't know, in the UK and almost every country except America, you're old enough to drink when youre 18 not 21.)
I finally finished unpacking my stuff and decided to watch tv for a little while.
After about 2 hours I heard the door open and a bunch of loud people downstairs.
Liam.
I ran out my room and down the stairs, and there he was, my brother. I jumped on him and he gave me a big hug. My brother and I are so close.
He introduced me to his friends. They were all cute. But there was one that really caught my attention. Louis, I think is what his name was.
There was something different about him.
