Glimmer's POV
I needed to talk to Veronica as soon as possible. Harry came to Niall and I for a very depressing vent. He said he needed someone to talk to so he came to us. It was all sad to be honest but I listened to his dilemma. I think Niall was trying to listen to him but I could tell he was dozing off here and there.
He basically told us about his "crush" on Veronica, but as everyone knows, she's with Zayn which makes the situation bad. I wasn't as surprised but Niall was. He nearly spilled the soda he was drinking when Harry admitted his "love" for Veronica. So because of that, I felt like Veronica should know. I just hoped she would take it in a more decent manner.
So on Saturday I decided to go over. I knew she worked in the morning so I knew I had to go over in the afternoon. That day I didn’t have anything to do so I just hung out with Niall. His friends had taken all of his alcohol away but then he started drinking again. Not like he used to though.
We went out to eat and then watched a movie. Nothing new. He drove me home and stayed in my house for a little while. After he left I texted Veronica if I would go over but she took a while to reply so I just drove to her house and hoped to meet her there. As a result, a sad one, she wasn't home when I got there so I just waited for her at her front step.
It was a little while longer till she got home. She looked a little confused when she saw me but then greeted me along with a smile.
"So what brings you here Glimm?" She asked a short time after we walked inside.
"Oh I just wanted to see your pretty face that's all" I responded and with a wink.
She laughed and made her way to the kitchen, I guessed she was hungry. I was right. She walked out with some popcorn, chips, and some sodas.
"Actually there is something I feel like I need to tell you" I said after she sat down. I was nervous because I didn’t know how she would react.
"Shoot girl!"
"Welll.... okay so Harry came over to my house with Niall a couple of days ago...."
"Annnnd?"
"He told us something.... it’s something like... well he likes you" I said trying to rush the words out . After I finished, she didn’t say anything and it got me worried.

Veronica’s POV
There was a moment of silence. The news was somewhat new. Well I had a feeling deep in my gut, but I never dared to ask him. I still wanted to see what else Harry told Glimm and Niall.
I took a seat on the couch and Glimmer did as well.
“So, you knew?”
“No, I didn’t know that he liked me.” It was a little awkward, I guess she was waiting for another reaction.
“I have a question” Glimmer asked.I opened the bag of popcorn slowly trying not to make too much noise.
“What is it?”
“Don’t you think Harry’s cute? I mean at first when I met him, I even thought he was good looking”
“He’s okay I guess.”
“Oh, come on its between you and me. Zayn won’t find out. Now tell me the truth! He’s cute huh!?” Glimmer always asks crazy questions, I mean Harry is attractive, but...
“What else did he tell you?”
“Don’t change the subject Veronica!”
“Come on, tell me what he told you!” I really wanted to know what they talked about. I began to eat some popcorn and drink some of my soda.
“All he told us about were the feelings he has for you, but he knows to back off because of Zayn. He also told us he kind of, sometimes can’t handle it, and he just continued blabbering about how much he likes your smile and stuff like that”
“What did you tell him?”
“Well, Niall did all the talking. You know. Bro Code”
“Oh, I see”
“He told him, he should just let those feelings go because your Zayn’s”
“Zayn doesn’t own me”
“But, he’s your boyfriend. He kind of, slightly does” I continued to eat popcorn, noticing it was sort of late.
“Hey, can I sleep over?” Glimmer asked with her phone on her hand, I guessed she was texting her dad or mom.
“Yeah, I’m sure my parents would be cool with it”
“Okay, I’ll call my dad and tell him that I’m staying the night”
“I’ll get you some clothes to sleep in” I grabbed all the food and took it with me upstairs to my room. I had to get Glimmer some shorts she could sleep in, going through all my clothes I found some black basket ball shorts and a loose v neck. I changed in some sweatpants. My room door opened and Glimmer walked in.
“Do you have makeup remover?”
“Yes, in my bathroom” I pointed to the door next to the closet.
“So, how are you and Zayn?” Glimmer said from the bathroom.
“We are great” I climbed into bed grabbing my phone, remembering that Zayn left me some messages earlier that I had to reply too.
“Are you guys going to Winter Formal together?” Glimmer turned off the light from the bathroom as she walked back inside the room.
“I have no idea; I don’t think Zayn likes to dance” Glimmer climbed into the other side of the bed checking her phone and then placing it on the small table.
“Do you have feelings for Zayn like for real? You know LOVE”
“Love?” Glimmer let out a yawn fixing her pillow.
“Yeah not like, you love him. Do you?” It took me a while to fix what she was trying to tell me. Love was something really serious, but I don’t know if I love Zayn. I mean we told each other we do. But, I’m new to these relationships.
“I think so” I turned to look at Glimmer, noticing she knocked out. She must have been really tired.
