Better Than Words

“Thanks for meeting me today Dee. I’m really sorry I haven’t seen you much, considering this trip was to spend time with you.”
“Oh trust me, I’m totally fine with it. Obviously what was meant to happen, happened.”
Dee says.
I smile “I’m so excited about moving here to London.”
“I’m just so happy for you and Niall.” Dee says. She looks up behind me and adds. “Well look who’s here.”
I feel strong hands on my shoulders and a sweet kiss on my cheek. “Hi ladies, sorry to interrupt.” Niall says as he sits in the chair beside me.
“You are always welcome, Niall.” Dee smiles. Why do I get the feeling she knows why he’s here.
“So Becca, you like to travel, correct?” Niall says.
I look over at Dee, she looks like she’s gonna burst. I turn back to Niall. “Yes, why?”
“Cause I’m taking you to Arizona for spring training.” Niall grins.
I scream and jump up and hug Niall. I’m excited to be going to spring training but I think I’m more excited to be sharing it with Niall.
He pushes my hair off my face. “Are you happy babe?”
“Yes Niall, I’m so excited to share this with you.” I kiss him, then ask. “When do we leave?”
Niall laughs. “As soon as you’d like.”
