Better Than Words

The next morning we talk about sports over breakfast. It seems to be an easy subject for us, since we both seem distracted.
“So you really like football?” Niall asks me.
“Yes it’s really grown on me. It’s a shame it’s not as popular in America.” I reply.
“Ya, well you have your American Football.” Niall says.
“Yes and I enjoy that too, but baseball will always be my absolute favorite.” I say with a smile.
“You get to share my love of football with me while you are here. We will need to take a trip together to America, so you can share your love of baseball with me. I’d love to see it through your eyes.” Niall says with the sweetest, most genuine smile I’ve ever seen.
“ I would love to share that with you.” I reply excitedly.
