Alex cuddled up to me on the couch- and since Taylor was out with her friends we had some alone time.

"Hey Alex?" I gathered up all my courage.

"Hm?"

"W-who's Mack?" I asked.

She froze as her body turned pale.

"H-how do you k-know about him?" Her voice was small.

"Ariana mentioned him and said I should ask you about him if I wanted to know." I said.

She sat up and let out sigh as tears fell from her eyes.

"If you don't wanna talk about it- I understand." I said.

She shook her head, "You'd find out somehow."

She let out a large sigh and took a deep breath.

"It all started when I was fourteen.." She started, "I met him. Dirty blonde hair- styled like Justin Bieber's old haircut. He had brown eyes that could just see past your lies- and plump full lips. I started getting depression when I was fourteen- and was already self harming. Little did I know so was he. He was the person who could make someone's day- even if that person just lost a family member or something. We were best friends and one night we were lying under the stars in his backyard- he rolled up his sleeve to show me his cuts. I was shocked and pained- but I just rolled up my sleeve and said, 'I draw too..' after that.... he kissed me. For my fifteenth birthday he took me on a date. I had stopped cutting and so had he. We never fought- never stopped loving each other. When we were seventeen, we bought a house together by the cliffs and lived there. I remember the day like the back of my hand. March 27, 2013. Me and Mack got in our first fight. He was hanging out with his ex and I yelled at him. I regret that- probably my biggest regret. He grabbed his suitcase and packed it with his stuff. I tried to stop him but he was out the door like that. He was only 20 feet from our house when his car lost control and... t-tumbled down the c-cliff.." She cried.

"I moved ou-out of that damn house and bought this one. I met Ariana, Frankie, Zach, Tyler and Issa here, also. I started making YouTube videos so I could hope to make people laugh.. Just like Mack did." She whispered.

I couldn't form any words.

"And what's worse is that I was turning eighteen in a few weeks, so when I cleaned out of that house... I found an engagement ring he had hidden," She started crying, "He was going to ask me to m-marry him Harry!"

She rolled up in a ball and cried- so I leaned down with her and held her fragile body.

"I-I'm so s-sorry Alex. I love you so much- please don't ever leave me." I whispered.
