Listen up ladies.. a summary is supposed to be short, sweet, and simple. Here's a list of the best and worst things to put into a summary and some tips for a better one! :)
Best things:
A flashback
A character's quote
Any quote revolving to the story
Song lyrics
Worst things:
If you dont put anything (its the most worse!)
Dialogue/a chapter or section of a chapter
a summary needs to contain a few things, depending on how you do it. here's some examples of what you're summary could look like:
