Alice's POV

I wake up to find Niall asleep with his head on my shouder and his arms wrapped around me. You have no idea how scared I was to have woken up in his arms. Last time I woke up in a guy's arms, well, let's just say the same thing had happened as when I was eight.

I struggled out of his strong grip and dizzily stood up. I looked around for a phone and found one downstairs in the kitchen. I quickly dialed Emma's number. It rang once, twice, three times. It went to the message machine, so I left one for her,
"Emma? It's Alice. My house burned down. Some guy has me and he wouldn't let me call you. He's asleep now, but Emma, I'm so scared. I don't want to go through it again. I just can't." At that point I was sobbing, so I just hung up. I was crying so hard that my vision became blurred and as I slid down the wall I didn't see the boy walking up to me.

"And who might this pretty young woman be?" He asked.
Niall walked into the kitchen then, still groggy from his nap, and snapped at the boy, "Back off Liam, she's mine."
So Liam is his name. He looked nice enough. I mean, thy always do don't they? They're always all handsome and charming, but once they get you alone they're ugly animals. I am not going to let this happen to me again.

"GET AWAY FROM ME! BOTH OF YOU!" I screamed, pushing past them and running into what I thought was just a bathroom. Turns out it was the basement. "Stupid" I thought to myself as I fell down the hard steps. I must have knocked myself up pretty well because before I knew it I was slowly being surrounded by blood and was slipping unconcious once more. M last thoughts were of what might happen to me in the future, and believe me they were no in the least bit pleasant.

Niall's POV

"Damn it Liam!" I yelled, "You mess everything up!" "Hey, what did I do? You're the one the kidnapped her!" He snapped right back. I grumbled, knowing that his comment was true. I have to admit, I feel pretty bad about the whole thing, but seriously, that was the only thing I could think of at the time, and if I let her go now she'd just have me convicted for some shit she made up for all I know. No. I'm in too deep now.

"So, Mr. Smartypants. You know your hostage was calling someone right?" Liam cockishly asked me.
"What?! Oh shit." I said, mostly to myself, and grabbed the phone out of Liam's hand. I called the number and was sent to voicemail. Perfect, now I know who it is.

I called Harry directly afterwards, and told him to pick this Emma up. Shit, everything is just falling apart now. It wasn't supposed to be like this at all. Harry told me he'd get her address and pick her up. That's when I finally decided to go after Alice.

I found her at the bottom of my basement stairs, surrounded by blood that was gushing from her forehead. God, I'm such an idiot. Why didn't I come after her sooner?
"Liam?" I called up the stairs.
"Oh now you want me?" He replied sarcastically
"Help me bring her up, she's bleeding." I yelled back, ignoring his sarcasm for now, man, he can be such a pain in the ass sometimes.

After I said that though, he came rushing down the stairs and helped me carry her up and set her down on the couch. Liam went to grab some damp washcloths while I started massaging her wrists, hoping to wake her up. She stirred slightly as Liam set one of the towels on her forehead, sopping up the blood. She sat bolt upright, then slumped back onto the couch and moaned. God her moan. Damn it, this is no time to start getting horny. I heard a knock on the door so I left Liam to tend to Alice and got up to get it. It was Zayn.

"Hey, brought back the clothes like you asked... Oh my god what happened?!" He said, dropping his bags and staring at my bloody hands. "Alice took a fall. Down the basement stairs, she split her forehead open. And, thanks."
"How the hell did she do that?" He asked, picking up the bags again and rushing past me into the living room.
"She sort of freaked out when she saw Liam and ran away from us." I replied.
"Is she alright?" He asked as we walked into the living room. "Yeah, I think so. We just need to get her forehead to stop bleeding." I told him.
"Already done." Liam said. He had some blood on his shirt, as did I, and he had Alice on his lap, rubbing her back. When I saw that I flipped, but I decided to leave it for now, my poor baby was hurt.

"Hey Babe, you okay? What was all that about." I quietly asked Alice, while sliding her onto my lap. She tried to get away from me but I kept my grip on her tight enough that she couldn't. Finally she just gave in and rested her head on my shoulder. "I fell, and... I'm so scared! Don't hurt m-me, I just, I can't go through it again, I just can't." She half blubbered, half choked out.
"Hey it's okay babe. We're not gonna hurt you," I said, massaging her back slightly, "All I want is for you to be safe."

Emma's POV

I woke up to my doorbell ringing nonstop. I grabbed my phone which had been beeping, threw on a bathrobe and went downstairs to see who could possibly want anything at this ungodly hour. I opened the door to see a handsome curlybrown-haired boy. He barged past me and shut the door. Crap.

"Are you Emma?" He inquired of me.
"Uh... Yeah. Why?" I replied, walking backwards towards the taser that I kept in my side table drawer.
"Pack your stuff, you're coming with me." He said, grabbing me by the arm and leading me upstairs. Holy crap, he is really strong. My wrist was beginning to hurt as I tried to pull myself out of his viselike grasp.
"Who the hell are you and what are you doing in my house? Oh, and what put the thought in your head that I would ever listen to, let alone go somewhere with a stranger who barged into my house at.." I looked at my alarm clock, "At 4:51 in the morning?" I snapped at him.
"Look. Just pack your bags and don't ask questions. This is an important investigation and you need to just come with me." He replied. "So, what? Are you with the police or something?" I asked, getting more scared by the minute. "Technically, no. I'm just the driver, they sent me for you." He replied, going in my closet and grabbing a few bags. He started stuffing my things in them, going through my dresser and stopping only when he got to my underwear drawer. He looked up at me and I chuckled, walking over and taking some underwear out and tossing it to him as he had walked over to my bed and started sipping up my bags. He blushed slightly, but his eyes told me he was more than embarrassed, they were getting slightly darker as they scanned my body. I smirked and grabbed a pair of red skinny jeans and a blue tanktop and took my robe off and began putting them on. His eyes went wide at the sight of my barely clothed body, but I told him, "Are you gonna just stand there and stare at me or are you gonna go put those bags in the car?". "I'd rather have the first option." He said, giving me a cheeky smile. Man, Alice was right. Maybe I should be more careful around guys, but seriously, if an extremely good-looking guy came to your house at four o'clock in the morning, I'm sure you'd be acting the same way. Anyway, I finished getting dressed and he grabbed all four of my bags, telling me to get my coat. I slipped my moccasins on and followed him out the door. I turned around to look at my house, making sure all of the lights were out.

Little did I know, that was the last time I'd be seeing my house for quite a while.

Hi everybody! I'm glad I finally got to do a part with Emma, who, as you can tell, is much more of an outgoing girl. I liked this chapter, although it took quite a while for me to brainstorm it. Whatever. Hope you like it!!!

Also, due to Ash Wednesday/Lent coming up, I'll only be able to update on Sundays until Easter.
