Moving To England

Chapter Three

*Destiny’s POV*

*The Same Afternoon*

My friends and I were all hanging out in front of Eaton Centre waiting for our parents to pick us up. The five of us shared our last conversation as a group, talking away about everything we've been through - the drama, laughs, tears and those little moments that meant the world to us.

"HONK! HONK!"

"Hey, Buddy!" Dad called, from the honking car.

"Hey, Dad!" I called back, with a wave.

"Nicki's father offered to drive us to the airport. Let's go, I don't want to be late."

"Nicki, you are coming too, right?" I asked my best friend, pleadingly.

"Yeah, of course!" Nicki said in glee. "Can I, Dad?"

"Why not?" Mr Smith smiled, with a thoughtful nod.

I was devastated at the thought of leaving. Despite that, I secretly can't wait to see what this new home of mine had for me.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye ..." Sid shyly murmured, rubbing his arm, as he stared at the ground, too embarrassed to look up at me.

"Oh, guys! I am going to miss all of you!" I exclaimed, "I don't know what I am going to do without you four!"

"Listen, you don't have to promise to call, visit or even write to us." Moe started, "Just promise you won't forget all the memories we created, all the fun times we had and most importantly, promise that you won't forget us."

"Of course, I won't forget you people." I cried, "Even if I tried I couldn't. You people had the biggest impact on my life, and I love you guys for it."

"Alright!" Diego announced, "Group Hug!" With that, we all huddled together for nice warming embracement, before letting go.

"How about a group picture?" Dad suggested, getting out the car, holding my camera.

"Yes! Oh, my gosh!" Nicki exclaimed. The five of us huddle and smiled brightly for the photo, as Dad captured our last moments together.

"I will send you guys this picture the minute I get the chance," I promised as we all huddled looking over the photo.

"You better," Sid demanded, jokingly.

"We have to go now," Dad informed us, as he got back into the car.

"Okay, leave before I start crying," Sid mumbled, his voice cracking. "Too late!" Sid exclaimed, rushing away after he gave me a quick hug.

"I am going to miss you," Diego said with a sad nod, as he held on to my arms. "Be careful, alright? Call us, whenever. We are right here." With that, he rushed off behind Sid, also leaving me with a quick hug.

"Don't forget us, Destiny." Moe warned me, "Don't let anyone one bring you down. Even though I said you don't have to call, visit, or write, it would be nice, you know ... Maybe calling, visiting and writing could fill up the distance."

"Of course," I lightly chuckled. "I love you guys. Bye, Moe." Leaving Moe with a big hug, Nicki and I entered her car. Waving goodbye to the boys, Mr Smith drove off.
