Moving To England

Chapter Ten

*Harry’s POV*
*Next Moment*

Walking out of Destiny's home, a huge smile was plastered on my face.

'Fun. I had fun.' I thought to myself, just as Zayn called me.

"Hey mate. You're still coming, right?" Zayn questioned me, over the phone.

"Yeah, of course. Let me wash off this blue paint." I replied.

"Blue paint ...?" Zayn questioned me.

"I'll explain later." I say with a chuckle, "I'll be there in 15-minutes."

"Alright then ..." Zayn says, trailing off, most likely still wondering about the blue paint.

"Bye Zayn," I say, cutting the phone line with him. I raced home, washing off the blue paint, and changing into fresh, clean clothes.

"Shoot!" I exclaimed out loud, 'I forgot to give Destiny back her overall. I'll give them back tomorrow.' I thought.

I got into my car and drove off to Zayn's house, which was on the other side of the road, six blocks down.

Knocking on Zayn's front door, I was greeted by Liam.

"It's about time, Harry." Liam chuckled, as he greeted me into the house with handshakes, with then become a one-handed hug.

"Hi, Liam." I smiled at him.

"You're smiling too much. What happened?" Louis integrated me, with narrowed eyes, and I fell onto the couch in the living room, where everyone was gathered.

"What? It is illegal for me to smile now?" I questioned back, acting as if I were threatened by his question.

Before anyone could answer, we were interrupted by Zayn's mother.

"Oh, honey. You'll have to excuse me. I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to go out for a few errands, with your father, I'll be back at around 10-ish. There is food in the fridge, help yourselves. Call me if anything goes wrong, Zayn. Also, your sisters are out with their friends." Mrs Malik says, mainly to Niall.

"Alright, mum. Thank you." Zayn smiled at her, giving her a kiss on the cheek, as he walked her out the door. "Be safe."

"I will, thank you. Honey. I'll see you later. Bye boys!" Mrs Malik waved to the rest of us, as she walked out the door.

"Bye Mrs Malik!" the rest of us say in staggered voices.

"Alright back to the issue at hand. What's up with all this smiling?" Niall says, attacking me with a punch in the arm.

"Dude!" I exclaimed.

"What?" Niall shrugged, plopping down

"Actually, though. What happened?" Zayn questioned me.

"I don't know. I just am." I say as the corners of my mouth twitched. I was struggling to keep my smile hidden.

“Aww … I think someone had a fun time at the new girl’s house.” Zayn teased me.

“How is she?” Niall asked, eagerly.

“Different.” I smiled, as Zayn settled next to me.

“Harry, I want her,” Niall demanded.

“What! You haven't even met her! How can you want her?” I exclaimed.

“You already have a girlfriend,” Niall argued.

“So do you!” I shot back.

“So, I don’t like Casey,” Niall whined.

“You had sex with her last night, Niall.” Liam laughed.

“So, she is good in bed. Doesn’t mean I like her.” Niall explained with a distressed look on his face, making the rest of us laugh.

“Well, you can’t have Destiny.” I insisted.

“Why not!” Niall exclaimed.

“I don’t know. You just can’t.” I declared.

“Alright, well, I still want to see how she looks,” Louis announced the boys nodded in agreement.

"Do you happen to have a photo of her?" Liam asked.

"No, but we can try searching her up," I suggested, pulling out my phone.

I opened up the Facebook app and typed up 'Destiny Baker' in the search bar.

Finding Destiny's page, I opened it up. She had an adorable profile picture, and her cover photo was a family picture with her mother, her father, and herself.

“Wow!” Zayn commented.

“Not bad looking,” Liam added.

“Hot.” Louis chuckled.

“Mine.” Niall declared.

“Niall! No!” I exclaimed, pushing Niall.

“Fine, but soon ... Mine!” Niall declared. Rolling, my eyes, I sent Destiny a friend request, and the boys followed my actions.

Afterwards, the boys and I ended out to play some football. Niall's older brother, Greg, joined us, so we had even teams.

Then, we went out to play some football. Niall’s older brother, Greg, came to play with us, so we had even teams. Louis, me and Greg vs. Niall, Zayn and Liam.

My team won 5 to 1. Not a surprise, since I was the team captain on the football team, last year and the years before.

*Destiny's POV*
*Meanwhile …*

Dad and I had reached the mall, arriving at the Apple Store, we surfed through all the types of the phones they had on display, as well as the other electronics.

Dad and I both settled for an iPhone 6. Mine was coloured in a rose gold display, whereas my father had chosen a space grey colour.

"How about some cases for these beauties?" Dad offered. I nodded with a beatific expression painted on my face.

Dad had chosen to get a jet-black phone case, with a front flip cover attached to it. I had settled on a gold case, which has small platters of gold, black, and white paint.

Afterwards, we decided to purchase a family laptop. Not knowing what kind we had wanted, we had to go through the long, tiring process of consulting with one of the Apple employees.

Subsequently, after what felt like a good, solid hour, we walked out the store with our new iPhones and a new golden MacBook.

"Dear god, that was a lengthy process." Dad yawned, as we slumped back into the car.

"How is it only 7:30!" I exclaimed, slurring my words.

"God knows. I was sure it would be like 10 pm by now." Dad sighed resting his head on the steering wheel.

"What now?" I questioned him, sheepishly.

"We have until 10 to kill time. Do you need anything else?" Dad asked me, trying to regain his energy.

"Mhmm," I mumbled, rubbing my eyes as I thought what else I might need. "A new bike?"

"Perfect!" Dad exclaimed with fatigue, "First we get coffee."

"No Tim Hortons in England, is there?" I disputed, gloomily.

"No, sadly. I wonder how the coffee here tastes. I forget since the last time I was here." Dad sought.

Leaving all our electronics safely in the car, out of sight from anyone suspicious, we went back into the mall. To our convenience, there was coffee shop just near a bike store.

"Costa Coffee. I never tried their coffee, we sort of just always resorted to Starbucks." Dad mentioned, with a shrug.

We entered the coffee shop to see the neatly painted red walls, chestnut brown tables orderly arrangement throughout the small area, wooden flooring, and dim lighting, giving it a calm feeling. The sound of small talk filled the air, along with the sweet aroma of coffee and sweets.

Luckily for us, there wasn't much a large line at that time, for the register.

"Hello, sir. What may I get you today?" the register girl asked Dad, with a honey speech. She was a young girl, probably around my age. She had blonde hair, which was poker-straight and pulled back into a low ponytail. She had on very little makeup.

"Well, it's my daughter and my own's first time here. You have any suggestions?" Father asked, politely.

"Oh, of course!" she exclaimed with glee. "Well, our favourite coffees are called Velvety Flat White, Creamy Latte, Classic Americano, Rich Cortado, Frothy Cappuccino, and the Intense Espresso. I highly recommend one of the top three, Velvety Flat White, Creamy Latte, or the Classic Americano. They have our highest rating."

"Alright, I guess I'm getting the Creamy Latte, it sounds the yummiest. One medium Creamy Latte for me, please." I requested.

"Good choice!" The register girl exclaimed, giving me a bright smile.

I replied with a sheepish smile, much too exhausted to be overly polite at the moment.

"I guess I'll have a medium Velvety Flat White. Sounds elegant, you know?" Dad says, looking in between the register girl and myself.

"That is just wonderful, Dad. I'm going to be over there." I say, giving him a small smile as I strained to keep my eyes open. I slumped over to the two person table in the corner of the coffee shop.

Moments later, Dad had returned to our drinks.

"This best last me until 10," I say, sitting up and retrieving my cup of coffee from Dad.

"Alright, here it goes. On a count of three, we drink it together." Dad says, looking at his coffee cup. "One, two, three."

Immediately, at the count of three, we each cautiously took a sip of the warm drink. The coffee tasted like something snapping at the back of your throat, the heat burning your tongue. It had a sweet, with a light bitter taste, which still caused me to wince. Few quick moments passed by, and I had a strangely refreshed feeling, with an added tiny bit of excitement.

"Good God. That's actually, really good." I say, enjoying the yummy drink.

"Yeah, it is. My gosh!" Dad says, eagerly taking more of his drink.

After finishing up our drinks, over a small conversation, we headed to the bike store. We walked out 20 minutes later with my brand new, bright blue, road bike.

"What time is it now?" I questioned my father.

"8 o'clock," Dad answered, without much excitement.

"Oh, fun!" I exclaimed with a great sarcasm in my voice.

"What now?" Dad asked.

"We could go home and set up our phones and the laptop," I suggested.

"We might fall asleep." Dad pointed out. "Ah, heck, so we'll be a little early. I cannot stand being outside any longer."

"So we can go home now!" I exclaimed in glee.

"Yeah, I think so. Let's go." Dad says to me.

As we entered our house, we had quickly brought in everything from the car and set them on the floor of our empty living room.

"I'll get some food, and our sleeping bags," Dad told me, as he left the room.

Meanwhile, I had gotten a head start setting up my account on the MacBook, which hadn't taken too much time. Afterwards, I went on with setting up my phone.

Just as I had finished setting up my phone, Dad had come into the living room, all freshened up and in his pyjamas, with a bowl of chips and two pop cans.

"How you go get ready for bed and come meet me down here? Then we can watch a movie until we fall asleep." Dad says to me.

"Alright." I nodded in reply, slowly going up the stairs. I changed into my pyjamas, finding that my empty bedroom, with newly painted walls, had a pile of dirty clothing. While Dad was setting up his account on the laptop and his phone, I decided to clean up my clothes, since tomorrow the rest of our furniture is going to be arriving.

Once, I had gone back downstairs Dad was adding his final touches to his phone. I opened up our Netflix account and turned on a funny movie.

"What are we watching?" Dad asked.

"Are we there yet?" I replied.

"Isn't that the one with Ice Cube?"

"Yup!"

Halfway through the movie, I had fallen asleep on Dad's shoulder, knocked out cold.
