~Niall's P.O.V~
"Niall, just come home!" Liam tried to persuade me. "What if she wakes up? I have to be here!" He sighed and gave up. I've been staying at the hospital for a week now. I just wish Clara gets better soon. "I love you Clara." I whispered. She looks so fragile, lying on the bed bandaged from head to toe.
*Next week*
A nurse walked into the room "Good afternoon." I said to the nurses. "What's the update?" I asked. "She should be up sometime in the next three day's, but I can't be certain. When she does wake, we'll ask her some questions, see how she's doing, things like that." "Ok, thanks." I said. They'd told me her injury's are less severe now and when she wakes up she can heal properly. "Clara good news! You should wake up soon!" I told her. I'll still tell her things even if she cant hear me. I yawned. "Good night Clara." I whispered, going into a dreamless sleep.
BEEP BEEP BEEP. I woke up. "What's that?" I asked as Jess (The nurse) whizzed past me. After examining some machinery the nurse said "Her heart rate went right up, but it's fine now." She fumbled with the tubes. "You'll get better soon Clara. I promise." I squeezed her hand. Something happened, she squeezed back. "Oh my gosh! She squeezed my hand! What does that mean?" I shouted, jumping up. "Calm down sir!" The Jess shouted. I huffed and sat back down. "You can do it Clara, wake up." I encouraged. I watched her eagerly. A smile flickered on her face. "Clara!" I shouted. "Niall be quiet!" Jess demanded. "Sorry, but look!" I said, pointing to Clara. "C'mon Clara, wake up!" I said. Clara's eyes opened. "Babe you can do it!" "N-Niall?" She said. "Clara! Oh my gosh! You're awake!"
After what felt like a life time of assessments Clara sat up on her bed properly. "Clara, I love you so much. Never ever do that again, ok?" "Ok" "Gosh, I don't know what I would of done if you'd left." She frowned slightly. "Niall I would never leave you. Ever." I smiled. "Good." She raised an eye brow "So, fiance?" I smiled even bigger now.
"I wanted to do this properly, but I can't wait. Clara I love you, but the thing I hate about you is your last name. Please make me the happiest man on earth and become Mrs. Horan?"
