~Clara's P.O.V~
*2 weeks later*
Over the last 2 weeks I have had some of my best and worst days ever. About 5 days after my 'incident' I met Lou's girlfriend El. I was a little shy at first, but after 2 minutes we were talking like old friend's. We became best friends right away. That was a highlight, the lowlight's, well, they were really really lowlights. A few days ago I went to visit my parents. My mother told me that my dad had passed away while I was out with Niall. I felt that I was my fault that he died, because if I was there, like I was supposed to, then he woud of had a happy passing. But mum insisted that I take some time out for Niall and I. I cried so much that day. I was happy I still had mum, for a while at least.
I woke up on Niall's bed. Since I came stayed at his place he was always on at me about sleeping in his room while he slept on the couch. Sometimes we swapped, but most of the time, if I was on the couch, Niall would take me to his room and tuck me in his bed. I wish he wouldn't I really don't mind sleeping on a couch, I actually find it rather comfortable.
"Hey." Niall said as I walked down stairs. I stared at him as I sat next to him and cuddled into his cheast. "What's wrong?" He asked "I really don't mind sleeping on the couch, so stop putting me in your room." He snickered at me. "I mean it!!" "I know but I can't let you go without your proper beauty sleep." I liked the way the exaggerated the word beauty. But he looked at me and said in a hurry "But I didn't mean you aren't beautiful without proper sleep, you are georgus no mater what." He blushed "Well so are you Ni." He blushed and even darker shade of red. Ni was my nickname for him, since every one else called him Nialler . I wanted to give him a special nickname, Ni rymed with my and I wanted him to know he was mine and only mine. Well if you know what I mean, like not to cheat on me.
I go to the hospital every 2 days with Niall to make sure mum was ok. Little did I know today would be the last. "Hey Clara, hey Niall." She greeted us. "Hey mum." "Hello again Mrs. Lee" Niall said formaly. It was cute when he talked like that. Mum had taken a liking to Niall ever since he helped me through everything. Ni and her were engrossed in a coneration so I went and got a drink for the hospital cafe.
"Um I don't think it would e a good idea to go back in there right now." A doctor said to me as I was walking back to mum's room. He looked at me with a pleading look in his eye's, so I decided not to ask. I walked up to the room to get Niall, who was waiting for me. "Clara, your mother has reacted bad to the med's the put her on." Niall said to meas I looked throught the small window in the door. I wish I hadn't because what I saw was horrifying. They where putting tubes in her nose and mouth, and inserting IV lines all over her. Then all the docotrs looked at each other and wheeled her towards us. They burst out the door and started to wheel her as fast as they could down the corridor. One nurse stayed behind and told us what was happening. "She has had an alergic reaction to the medicene we gave her." I saw the look in her eye's and could tell there was something more. "Is that all?" I asked her. She sighed and said "We also took some scans yesterday and found a blood clot on her brain. We have taken her to surgry now to see if we can help, but it is a huge risk. The clot may or may not burst whe they are in there." She looked at me waiting for an answer. "So basicly she had a 50/50 change of dying right now?" Niall asked knowing that if I did I would proably start to cry. She looked at me and said "No, there is a 89% chance of her passing." "Why didn't you tell me?" I asked "Your mother did not want to upset you."
An hour later another nurse came out. "Her blood clot burst and she has only minutes left. She has requested you both to come in and make her happy in her final moments." Oh my gosh this nurse is aweful, did she not know that I was about to become an orphan? That both my parent would die in the same week? That I have no other family? I thought I would cry but I didn't, to my surprise. "Hey again Clara." She smiled at me weakly. "Mum are you really going?" I had to ask. "Yes and i'm sorry I didn't tell either of you." She said to both me and Niall. Niall said "Mrs. Lee where is Clara going to stay after you..." He stoped, but mum understood. "She can stay where ever she want's, I dont know if that would be at home, at yours or at a hotel." She looked at me. "I think I might stay with Niall for a while, if thats ok with you?" I asked Niall. "Sure." "On one condition." "And what is that?" He asked teasingly. "I sleep on the couch, and no draging me to your room when i'm asleep." Mum laughed at the thought. "I have an idea, Clara why don't you just put a matteres in Niall's room?" "Hey that's not a bad idea." He said to me. I blushed. "Hey but kid's, don't do anything silly!!" She said in a joking voice. "I would never do that!!" I nearly screamed at her in horror. Niall and mum laughed at me. Mum sighed heavily, so I came and sat down on the chair next to her. "I love you Clara" She said "I love you to mum." "And Niall, take care of my baby." She smiled at him "Of course I will." He smiled at me and I smiled back. I started to cry "Mum please don't leave me." "I can't promise you that, i'm sorry." "I love you." She said again so I relpyed "Mum you mean the world to me. I love you to." She smiled and took her last breath.
