This Love

"Skylar" I said furrowing my eyebrows.


"Luke" she questioned.


Liana came to the door and saw the girl standing before me and said hi.


"You okay" Liana asked me noticing my uneasiness.


"Y-yeah" I stuttered.


"Excuse me for one sec" Liana said and pulled me off to the side.


"What the hell is wrong with you" she asked.


"I- I" I stuttered not knowing what to say.


"One minute" she huffed ad went back to the door.


"Amber" I called and ran to where the girls were.


"Yea" she said.


"Your moms here" I responded and gave her her little jacket.


"Okay" she smiled and walked to the front door with me where Liana and..... Skylar, we're taking.


We said good bye and they left.


"Oh my god" I muttered flopping down on the couch.


"Okay, tell me what happened between you two" Liana said sitting next to me.


"I was about fourteen and she was seventeen, I think" I started.


~Flashback~


"Who are these people" I ask my three friends as we approached the train station, but there were many people there that looked like they were about seventeen or eighteen.


"I don't know" Ash whispered and furrowed his eyebrows.


"Come on" Michael said and started walking to the vending machine.


We soon heard a loud gunshot and all our attention turned to the person covered in blood at the edge of the tracks.


"Oh my god" I whispered and covered my mouth.


We stood there frozen and watched people started punching and kicking and stabbing and I don't even know what else was happening.


I jolted ad squirmed when a felt a hand tug me to behind a small wall.


"What are y-"


"Shh" the girl whispered. "You and your friends shouldn't be here, there's a gang fight going on" she said gesturing to the other boys standing behind her with another kid.


The three boys started running to I guess a bus where I just stood there frozen and petrified.


"Are you gonna get going" she asked.


"Oh, yea I should pr-" I was cut off by a gun shot very close to us.


A different girl ran over to her and they went on in a fist fight. I couldn't move, I was too scared.


The unnamed girl caught her breath but the other charged at me. Knocking me to the floor and causing my elbows to start bleeding.


Soon, the girl on top of me let out a gasp and rolled over onto her back. I saw a knife sticking out and looked up at the girl in front of me.


"Thank you" I said.


"No problem" she responded and smiled. She quickly helped me up.


"Oh and my names Luke" I chuckled.


"I'm Skylar"


~End of flashback~


"That was the most petrifying experience of my life. She saved me" I said.


"At first I thought she had something bad to do with you" Liana chuckled.


"No, but it just reminds of what happened. I've been trying to forget for years" I say sadly.


"I may be small and fragile, but I'll never let anything happen to you" She said and pecked my lips.


"I love you" I said.


"Love you more Lukey" she responded.
