I Can't Stop Drinking About You

Nothing

*(A/N) This chapter is based off of "Nothing" by The Script, so listening to it might make it more emotional ( which is good! ;) ) *

And my mates are all there trying to calm me down
'Cause I'm shouting your name all over town
I'm swearing if I go there now
I can change her mind, turn it all around

And I know that I'm drunk but I’ll say the words
And she'll listen this time even though they’re slurred
So I, dialed her number and confessed to her
I'm still in love but all I heard
Was nothing

She said nothing
Oh, I wanted words but all I heard was nothing
Oh, I got nothing
I got nothing
Oh, I wanted words but all I heard was nothing

Ohh, sometimes love's intoxicating
Ohh, you're coming down, your hands are shaking
When you realize there's no one waiting....

Reagan's POV

"I'll be up in an hour or so," nick yawned
I nodded, "okay, night,"
"Night," he kissed my forehead and left.

I stretched before cuddling underneath the covers of his bed. I could hear the sound of the TV downstairs and some light muffled laughter. It sounded nice. I missed that with my dad and Marc. It had been years since we have had a Christmas all together, the reason being that we were in Aussie and marc was in the states.

I buried my head in the pillow and closed my eyes, slowly lulling to sleep. I must've fallen asleep, because I suddenly jolted awake to my phone ringing. I groaned and felt around for it, answering it without checking the caller ID.

"Hello?" I muttered.
"Reeeeeaaaa!" A husky voice slurred over the other end, "I'm so happy you anserd tha phone!"
"Calum?" I asked.
He giggled, "yeah!"

"What the heck are you calling me for?" I sighed, "it's so late,"
"I missssss you Reagan," he whimpered, "I just want you to come home. Really really bad,"
"You're drunk cal," I told him.
"I know," he agreed, "but I still love you lots and lots,"

"Where is Luke?" I prodded.
"Oh I dunno," he shrugged, "I think he's back at that place,"
"Where are you?" I sat up.
"I'm, I think I'm at a club?" He answered before laughing more, "I really don't really know,"
"Here's what's gonna happen Calum," I said strictly, "I'm going to call Luke, he's going to come and get you, you're going to go home and go to bed, and we worn ever speak of this again. Understand?"
The line went silent for a moment.

"Calum," I urged, "answer me,"
"Why don't you love me anymore?" He asked sadly.
I stopped for a moment, "because I....I can't,"
"I love you," he said angrily, "and your boyfriend is dumb!"

If he weren't possibly in danger I would be laughing right now. I seriously loved drunk Calum. He was really funny and cute.

"I hate him," he growled, "I hate him so so much!"
"Calm down," I sighed.
"Nooooo!" He whined, "can't you see that I need ya? I can't do this....."
His voice cracked at the end and I think he was crying now. My heart completely tore In two pieces at the thought of him being so upset. I was the one who made him so upset, it was all my fault. I felt so mean.

"Please, take me back" he cried, "I swear, I'll be better! I'll give it all up for you, I love you so fricken much,"
Tears of my own sprung to my eyes. My hands were shaking as I held the phone. Before I could stop myself, I pressed end call.

Luke's POV

"I see him!" I pointed
Michael and Ashton followed my gaze and spotted a very unsteady Calum wandering near the bar. We practically shoved people to the side to get through. I almost lost sight of him because the room was really dark.

"Calum!" I called.
He didn't even turn or show any sign of hearing me.
"Reagan!" He cried, staring down at his phone.
"Calum!" Ashton yelled

I knew that Ash was becoming increasingly annoyed with the entire situation. He didn't understand why Calum couldn't just move on. I tried to talk to him, because I honestly felt really bad for cal, but Ashton would not be swayed.

Ashton grabbed Calum's arm. He spun around, looking shocked to see us. Even though it was dark I could tell that he had been crying. I groaned. It was definitely the result of his drunk call to Reagan.
"Were going home," Ashton told him.

Ash had his arm while me and Michael walked behind them, making sure Calum couldn't wander farther. We went out the back to where the security SUV was waiting for us. We did not need to get this out to the press.

"What are you guys-you guys doin here?" He asked when we got to the car.
"Reagan called us," Michael blurted.
His face scrunched up, "she hates me guys,"
"She doesn't hate you," I muttered tiredly.
"Yes she does," he sniffled, "she hung up on me when I told her I loved her."

"You can't just do this to her Calum," Ashton scolded, "she has a boyfriend and you have to respect that,"

He looked broken at Ashton's words. I shot Ash a look. Poor Calum was drunk out of his mind, fucking crying in the middle of a club, and the love of his life outwardly rejected him. Way to kick the poor kid when he's down.

Calum didn't say a single word the entire ride home. He just sat, staring at his hands with tears in his eyes. I ruffled my hair agitatedly. It was far too late for this shit. It can wait till tomorrow.

Notes

Hi guys! So what did you all think of this chapter? Sad?

Side note: this story is going to be pretty short actually. I mean, I'm gonna kinda cut to the point, because there's no use in dragging it on farther than it has to go. That being said, there are still more chapters to come!

Anyway, please excuse me while I try to get my shit together and update as many stories as I can! I hope you all had/have a wonderful Christmas or Hanukah or whatever holiday you celebrate :)

kisses!
