World So Cold

~Liana's pov~


Another day, another cut, I thought as I slid the blade through my skin, to numb to feel the pain.


I know I promised Luke I would stop, but if he doesn't keep his promises why should I keep mine.


Ugh Luke.....


THAT FUCKING BITCH!!!!


It's been days since I talked to him, or anybody really. Calum has texted me a few times asking if I was alright but I said yes to make him stop asking.


Once I was done I bandaged my wrist and put my hair in a ponytail. I threw on my outfit and shoes carelessly not even bothering to put a lot of makeup on, just mascara.


Today was the day I had to face Luke. I played off as sick so my mum wouldn't make me go to school but she is now so, I'll have to face Luke.


Ugh Luke.....

Oh yea and Gabby too.

THAT FUCKING WHORE!!!!


And also to think, without Gabby being my friend, I have nobody because our friends are kinda the same people and I'm pretty sure they are more close to her than me.


I ran downstairs and grabbed my backpack and said bye to my mum.


"Hey wait come back here" my mum gestures for me to come to the kitchen where she was.


"Yea" I say getting impatient because I really just wanted to get this day over with.


"What's that behind your ear" oh fuck she noticed the tattoo, and to think, I had a pretty good run. I want to get rid of it now though, even though I can't. Luke has the same one.


Ughhhhhhhh LUKE!!!!!!!!


"Oh um, i-it's a h-henna I got a few days ago with my friend" I smile and she goes back to whatever she was doing.


I run out the door and begin walking to school since obviously Luke's not driving me.


I get to school and it feels like everything that happened with Luke was a dream, no friends, hating Luke, and walking nervously threw the overcrowded school yard.


I was to deep in thought to not realize that I had just bumped into somebody.


"Sorry" I mumbled looking down and walking away.


"Wait Liana!" Calum.


"Yea" I said turning around.


"I didn't know you were gonna be here today" he smiled and I just nodded.


"Neither did I" I mumbled.


"Common, walk to class with me" he gestured and I gave in. I put on my best fake smile and walked with Calum to class which we had together.


We both sat down next to each other and I put my head down so I wouldn't be noticed to much.


I looked up and instantly regretted it. Luke walked in with his eyes glued to my wrist which was bandaged and he knew exactly what that meant. He sat down far away alone and put his head down like me.


"He hasn't been very social lately" Calum whispered noticing me staring at him in the back alone.


"Well it was his own fault" I mumbled but I couldn't help but glance at Luke every so often.


"It wasn't actually. Luke told me Gabby came onto him, Ashton saw it too and he agreed" Calum said and realization hit me. Wait but no.


"He looked like he was enjoying it" I fought back.


"You probably couldn't even see anything through your tears" Calum chuckled a little while I just gave him a death glare. I mean he was right, but he still kissed somebody else, it's not that easy to forgive them so quickly.


After 45 minutes of daydreaming, the bell rung and I basically spent the whole day with Calum, except for when we had different classes.


The school day was finally over and I caught Gabby on the other side of the hall smirking, whore.


I started to begin walking outside but an arm pulled me into a closet and covered my mouth before I could scream.


"Chill it's just me" it's was Luke. He uncovered my mouth.


"Don't you think that might be the reason why I'm screaming" I said with an attitude.


"Just listen to me" he pleaded.


"Just save it Luke!" I shouted. "Calum told me that she came onto to you but I didn't matter because you still kissed back before pushing her away and I'm pretty sure you were enjoying it" I continued to yell.


"That was the most disgusting kiss I have ever had, and I've kissed you when you had a cold" he said making me chuckle a little but I was still mad.


"You know what Luke, okay fine, I'm not gonna stay mad at you. I just, I-I need some time" I say quietly.


"Please don't" he begged. I rolled my eyes and he sat down on the first thing he found. "Can I show you something" he asked and I nodded.


We were interrupted with a knock on the door.


"Are we in deep shit" I ask.


"Probably" he responds nodding.


We open the door to see the janitor patiently waiting there. We make a run for it before he could speak up.


"Just come to my house, I'll show you there" he said.


"Okay, fine" I gave in.
