He Tells A Story

Mist's POV





"Let's go on that one!" Emma points to an excitement ride whilst jumping on her spot.

Josh sighs and allows her to go onto the ride, telling here that we'll be right here when she comes back.

Emma happily jogs to the excitement ride.

Ever since we got here, my mind keeps running to Niall. What is he up to? Why chose Disneyland of all places to perform? Besides, shouldn't One Direction be at a concert somewhere else right now?

I push the thoughts aside as a voice calls for me.

"Babe!" Josh whisper-shouts a bit too harshly, startling me.

Did he just call me babe? He just called me babe. Maybe we're moving too fast? My thoughts are broken yet again.

"Earth to Mist!" Lilly snaps her fingers in front of my face.

I curse under my breath and give them an apologetic look.

"You have to stop zoning out like that," Josh chuckles as he wraps one of his big hands over mine, smiling.

I notice a couple around my age standing at a candy shop, they're not too far away and not too close either. I can make out their words spoken between each other. The woman has a baby boy around Yaden's age in her arms.

"Fwend!" Yaden points to the little boy as he looks up at me with a smile.

I concentrate on their conversation with their son, wanting a small idea of how it really should be. Mother, son AND father.

"Mummy!" The baby shakes his head at his mother.

"What do you want then?" She sighs as he looks at him.

"Daddy!" He points to his father.

I smile at their moment then turn my focus back to Josh and Lilly, who are both laughing along to something that I clearly missed out from.

"Daddy?" Yaden frowns as he points to Josh.

My heart falls at his words as a lump grows in my throat.

Josh's face holds just as much shock as mine.

"I-I'm-" Josh cuts me off by putting his hand over my mouth with a smile.

He looks at Yaden and smiles brightly at my blue eyed prince. "What did you call me?" He leans closer to Yaden.

"Daddy," Yaden smiles as he holds his hands out for Josh to pick him up.

Josh takes him from my arms and throws him in the air, making Yaden giggle. "This is probably the most amazing emotion I've ever experienced," he looks at Yaden in awe.

I'm still here, frozen on my spot with a lump in my throat because of that one simple word.

"Mist," I certain voice makes me move my body in a split second.

"What do you want this time?" I bark at Niall.

A soft hand is wrapped around mine yet again, making me smile. Josh's gestures seems to calm me down and comfort me, and I'm sure that he noticed.

Niall hands me a brown envelope with a smirk on his face.

After I take the envelope firmly in my hands, Niall turns his focus to Yaden.

"Hi," he smiles down at him.

I turn my focus back to the envelope, turning it around to read the words "Custody For Yaden Horan". I gasp at the words and look back at Niall.

Yaden pulls his arm away from Niall's hand and looks up at Josh. "Daddy, tawke mee away," he pleads at Josh.








Those words, made Niall's ticking bomb finally explode.
