He Tells A Story

Mist's POV



(6 days later)
I'm packing all of Yaden's clothes and toys for our trip to Disneyland. Packing is exhausting, one of the things I hate most in life. I zip up his bag and carry it downstairs.

"No," I hear Yaden complain from the living room.

"Please?" Lilly's voice begs Yaden.

I put the bag next to mine by the door and walk to the living room to join Lilly and Yaden.

Lilly is sitting on the couch with her phone in her hand, pouting at Yaden, while Yaden is sitting on the floor playing with his toys.

"What's going on here?" I chuckle as I sit down next to Yaden on the floor.

"He doesn't want to take a photo with me," Lilly sighs as she leans back into the couch. I chuckle and look at Yaden.

He looks much more like Niall. He has his hair and eyes, and he kind of looks like him too. I haven't noticed anything that he got from me, except for the beauty mark on his left knee.

"Mummy," Yaden looks at me with a happy expression on his face.

"Yes honey?"

"Ice cweam," he holds his arms out for me to pick him up.

I giggle and stand up, embracing my blue eyed prince in my arms.

"Well we have to leave now anyway," I look at Lilly. "We'll get you an ice cream on the way there, alright?" I gently kiss his temple.

He knows what Disneyland is and the idea excites him. He's been begging me to take him there since he could talk and understand things around him, so I'm leaving the trip as a surprise to him.

"Whewe we gowe?" Yaden looks up at me, cupping my face in his hands.

I smile at him and whisper in his ear, "Somewhere magical,"

He frowns at my words. "Mawicaw?" He repeats me.

Both Lilly and I laugh at how he pronounces his words. He can't say 'S', 'R,' 'D,' or 'G" yet, and sometimes the way the words leave his mouth is something to laugh about for hours.

"Wait and see baby," I tell him as I walk to the kitchen to get his bottle.




After placing the bottle in his baby bag, I picked up his suitcase and walked to the car. I strap him into his baby seat and put his bags into the car after Lilly puts mine next to hers.

"Ready?" She asks as she gets into the drivers seat.

"Weawy," Yaden yells from the back of the car. I smile at him and strap my seat belt on, already feeling exhausted from the trip that haven't even begun yet.





We drive to the nearest ice cream shop first and I get Yaden from his car seat and carry him to the shop.

"What would you like baby?" I ask him as I look at the verity of choices.

"Chocowate!" He yells in excitement. I smile and peck his cheek.

"Can I get one chocolate ice cream please?" I ask the middle aged lady working in the ice cream shop. She smiles at me and takes the order.

"Excuse me," I hear a petite voice behind me. I turn around to find a girl, probably 14 or 15 standing behind me with a smile.

"Yes?" I smile at her.

"Didn't you date Niall Horan from One Direction?" She asks as she pulls her phone from her pocket.

I've been asked this question at least once every time I leave the house. I guess it's normal after you've dated a famous guy. Normally the girls just talk to me about the boys, or some takes a photo with me.

"Yes I did," I smile at her.

"Can I please have a photo with you?"

"Sure," I smile at her.

Normally when I take photos with girls, I make sure that Yaden isn't in the photo. I have a fan page on twitter for some reason, and some One Direction fans post the photos they take with me on the page, so I don't want Yaden in the photos, knowing that Niall might see it. But right now, there's no one to hand Yaden to, so he'll have to sit in on one photo. No big deal, right?

The girl hands her phone to whom I'm guessing is her mother, and stands next to me. I tell Yaden to look at the camera and smile and I do too.

"Say cheese," the lady smiles at us.

"Cheeeeese," we say together and the flash of the phone goes off.

"Thank you so much," the girl smiles up at me. "You have a cute baby, by the way," she says as she takes the phone from her mother.

"Thank you, enjoy your weekend," I smile at her before turning around to pay for the ice cream. The lady working the till gives me my change and the chocolate ice cream.

"Here you go baby," I hand Yaden the ice cream.

"Thank you mummy," Yaden says as he takes the ice cream in his tiny hands. I see a light go off on Yaden and I and turn around to find the girl I've spoken to a while ago with her phone in her hands. She smiles at me and turns around, leaving the shop.

"Alright then" I mumble as I walk back to the car.





Niall's POV




"Mate," Zayn enters the entertainment room with his laptop in his hands.

"You have to see this," he chuckles as he sits down between Harry and I.

I take another sip from my beer and turn to Zayn.

"This Larry thing is getting out of control," he laughs as he opens a post on twitter. Harry and I lean closer to the screen to read what it says.

A girl with the user name "JessicaLovesHarryAndLouisStylinson"

posted a tweet with a picture of Harry and Louis hugging after the VMA awards.



"My two babies having an intense moment after an emotional night at the VMA awards! I bet they fucked afterwards ;) "

I burst out into laughter, earning a stern look from Harry.

"This has to stop," he sighs.

"I don't know, I find it kind of funny," I laugh as I take another sip from my beer.

"Mate," Zayn turns to me with a worried expression on his face.

"Yeah?" I frown at his sudden change of voice tone and face expression.

"You remember Mist, of course?" He asks.

"Yeah?" I sigh.

"You know she has a fan page on twitter?" He asks again.

No, actually I don't, but continue? I roll my eyes. "Yeah," I agree, just to make the conversation about the girl that broke my heart shorter.

"Some girl," he clears his throat. "Updated something a few minutes ago, tagging Mist's page in it," he frowns.

"Ok, so Mist has a page on twitter, some girl tagged her page on something. Big deal," I take a sip from my beer and frown. "How do you know about her page?" I ask him.

"I don't know, I guess it's my way to remember her, I just follow the page," he frowns. "But anyway," he continues.

"Have a look at this," he turns the laptop to me.

I lean closer to the screen, reading the comment the girl made with a photo that's still loading.



"Bumped into the lovely Mist today at an ice cream shop! She was getting ice cream for her baby boy! Captured a lovely moment shared between mother and son! Wonder who the father may be ;) just look at that face! :)"




I look back at Zayn, giving him a confused look. She has a baby?

"Keep on looking mate," he scrolls down to the photos.

I look back at the screen of the laptop and see a young girl with Mist in a photo, both smiling widely. There's a baby next to Mist, but his face is kind of cut off.

Zayn scrolls to the next photo and I swear my eyes almost popped out of my head.

It's Mist standing with a baby in her arms, she's handing him ice cream and he's looking up at her, smiling. But that's not what caught my attention. The blue eyes and blonde hair, and also, the age of the boy, well I'm guessing him two years old, is what caught my attention.

She left me a year and 8 months ago. This baby looks somehow that old too. Maybe even older. This can impossibly be my baby. She kept it?

I look at Zayn and he's watching me.

I down what's left of my beer and slam it down on the table.

"Fuck," I shout.

"Check if there's more photos of the baby," I tell Zayn.

I impatiently wait a few minutes and he looks at me and shrugs.

"Sorry mate,"

This can't be happening. I have a son?
