WHY

(Piper POV)

I was in the kitchen getting me something' to drink trying to think about what just happened. Harry was in the shower, skip the coke I went for the beer. I knew he was going to be mad that I was drinking it but who cares. I was on my phone texting my friend in California when Harry walked in when he saw the beer bottle in my hand I could tell he was trying to stay calm to my surprise he didn't say anything he grabbed one him self. I put my phone down I looked over at him with one eye brow up.

"what"

"oh nothing"

"what is it"

"I thought you would have yelled at me or something cause I'm drinking"

"well you shouldn't be with the baby and all"

"what's up something bugging you, is it about what just happened?"

"a little bit"

"Harry it's ok I know Niall would understand and plus he did say find another guy"

"how can you say that piper I feel like I just betrayed him and you should to since he was your boyfriend and baby daddy"

"don't go there"

"go where cause it's true, I'm starting to wonder if you even loved him"

"DAMN IT HARRY"

I slammed my beer bottle down, glass went ever where I ran to my room slamming my door. I stood in the middle of the room with my hands on my head. I grabbed my picture of me and Niall the last one we took when I went to his graduation just two days before he died. Damn I miss him so much, I can't be over Harry had the fucking nerve to say I didn't love him. There was a knock on the door, I waited hoping he would leave but he kept knocking. I finally opened the door expecting to tell at him but when I saw his face I couldn't do it, he had tears in his eyes. Fuck why do I have to be so nice, I hugged him, he pulled away looking away.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean what I said, I know you loved Niall"

"it's ok, sorry I got mad at you"

"piper um I know this is unexpected but um there's this party tomorrow night would you go with me as my date?"

"oh course I would love to"

He smiled I did the unexpected I stood on tippy toes planting a kiss on his soft lips. He smirked then kissed me back, he picked me up then carried me to my bed.

"you need some sleep love"

"oh come on"

"sorry"

"Harry"

"yeah"

"you want to sleep in here tonight"

He smirked an jumped on the bed pulling me to him, he kissed my forehead.

"Of course I will love now go to sleep"




(Harry POV)

I opened my eyes to a brand new day, I looked over to find Piper snuggled up next to me. I slowly moved away trying my best not to wake her up, I walked out of the room to go take a nice hot shower so I can get ready for work. I work at the construction sight a little west of town. I was dreading telling her that I had to leave for a month or so for work next Friday. But if wanted to be able to pay the house bulls I have to go I just hope she understands.it was a little after seven when I was fixing to walk out the door when she came up behind me.

"morning love"

"hey you leaving?"

"yeah I should be home by 5 and I need to talk to you when u get home"

"what about"

"work"

"oh ok just be careful"

I kissed her soft beautiful lips and said goodbye, I ran to my truck already five minuets late but it's ok since my uncle is the boss.

It was around 5:15 when I got home her truck was gone so I went to get ready for the party. I just walked out of my bedroom when she came through the door. It's now or never I thought.

"hey piper when you get a chance come in here"

"alright coming"

She walked in sat next to me on the bed I was trying to think what to say.

"what's you"

"I have to leave for a while for work"

"how long"

"A month or so I might be able to sneak back on the weekends tho"

"oh ok"

"that's it"

"yeah what do you want me to say"

"no that's good"

i smiled led kissed her forehead then she got up going to get ready for the fire.
