Chapter 21
HANNA'S POV
If only the girls could see this. The pretty lights and the crazy beauty. Me and Niall were walking down the sidewalk. I looked at the people passing by, they seemed happy.
I finally felt regular without tubes up my nose and across my face. His hand was clenched, like he was worried. He seemed worried.

"Something's wrong." I said, "I know it."
"No nothing really." He said.
"Just tell me." I said putting my hands on his face.
"Im worried," he said, "about you dying."
"Dont worry, we still have time for all of this." I said.
"Am i doing fine?" He asked
"Yes you are doing amazing." I said.

He was tense. I loved knowing that he cared. He realized what he meant to me and i meant to him. It was a love i always have wanted. I dreamed of it. My mom always told me about her and my dad. He would buy her flowers everyday. He would take her everywhere with him. It made me know that dreams do come true.

NIALL'S POV
The wind was chill as i put my arm around her. I felt wrong. She needed more of me. "Hey tonight want to light a floating latern on the water?" I asked. She gave me a smiled and rubbed her face in me.

When she came out of the bathroom, she was wearing a thin sweater with a skirt and leggings and boots. She looked in the mirror and picked out every negative detail. I came behind her with my arms around her and my head on her shoulder. She put her hands on mine. "You look perfect to me," i said. I came around kissing her lips. She put her hands in my hair and she came in tighter. I could hear her giggle at me. Her lips felt soft. She sat on the counter as i had my hands on her waist. "God Niall." She said, coming away. Her thumb pressed around my hand as she looked at it.

I held her hand down the stairs as she looked down. I put my hand under her chin and lifted her head. Down the sidewalk, i could see bits of light peeking through the trees. Our hands were warm once we reached the dock. I sat her in the boat. "Lets not repeat what happened." She said jokingly. "Ill make sure this time," i said sitting down. Her fingertips brushed the water sending off ripples into the ocean.

She seemed happy as she stared at the water around. Darkness soon came as i lit the lantern. "Its like a symbol of our love," her words smooth. Both of our hands let got as the lantern went higher into the air. She came close to me as her hands crept around my waist. I kissed her hair as she looked up into my eyes. "Easy on the eyes lover boy." She grinned. I gently grabbed her hand giving it a soothing kiss. She laid it on my knee as she kissed my cheek.

HANNA'S POV
Sweet, gentle, this was Niall. He skin warm against mine. We sat there for a while. The way home was quiet as we were alone on the sidewalk. I laid my head on his shoulder as he lead me up the stairs. I got in my pajamas and got in bed. He laid close near. His hand was around my waist and on my stomach. I turned around facing him. I kissed his nose alerting him as he opened his eyes. He laid his hand on my hip as i put my hands on his face.

I felt his face as he smiled. I put my hands around his neck. As my nose touched his. His breath warm on my chin. "Can we just cure this crap." He said, getting teared up. "I know baby, i wish it never existed." I said, wiping the tears off his cheek. "We could have a family and i don't know what ill do without you." He said, in between tears, "hey we have a surrogate mother so you can raise our child." I said. "Ya but i want you to be here." He said. "What if i suck at parenting." He said. "I trust you with the baby," i said, "and it will be like I'm there." "When i see her eyes and smile and hear her laugh." He said rubbing his eyes. That night i held him as he silently cried into me.
