Chapter 11
The bells chimed at the shop as i opened the front door. I smelled the vanilla and cream cheese frosting. Costumers were already lining up at the counter. I put on my purple apron and got to work. The morning crowd passed by easily. Then the not many at lunch. During the night it was somewhat busy. Lots of kids came at 3:30 for an after school snack. At about 7:00pm, i cleaned the tables off as the other four were in the back cleaning.
At about 8:00 me and Dani headed home. When we got home Niall was on the steps. Dani went inside leaving us alone. "I found this." Said Niall, handing me the ripped drawing. "I don't want it." I said. "Why," he said. "Its not good, i cant finished it." He folded it in his pocket. "Hey wanna go swimming?" Said Niall. "At this time of night?" I said. "Ya i put up lanterns down in the pond." He smiled. I went inside and put on a bikini with a cropped top and shorts over it.
I grabbed a flashlight and ran down to the pond. The lanterns were all over. Lighting the pond. It was beautiful. I saw Niall sitting at the bench. I went over. I sat by him. My bare legs touched him. I took the ponytail out of my hair. "Wow." Said Niall. I grabbed his hand and pulled him toward the water. I put one of my toes in the water. Perfect. I took off my crop top and shorts throwing them on the shore side, revealing a purple bikini. I took hold of the rope and jumped into the water. I loved water. I loved swimming. I wanted to become a olympic swimmer one day. "You coming in?" I asked Niall. "I don't know." He said as he laid on his belly, on the deck, toward the water. He put in finger in and swirled it around.
"Come on." I insisted. I went over. Our faces were close. I thought about it. Kissing him. I put my fore head to his. "Know your enough." He said. I put my lips close to his, not touching. Then i grabbed him and threw him in the water. "Oh you." He smiled. "What can i say." I replied. The water was warm. It felt right. I went over to him. He put his arms around my waist. I kissed him quickly. Short and sweet. He smiled at me. Then i went underwater and he did too. We kissed again. Beautiful i could last like this forever.
