Waiting for you babe

did you ever think that is a happy moment of you life that is all could just flash away?

today is August 12nd and I 20 year old Rosalie McKay just signed the most important paper ever. sadly this is not the college transfer paper i was hoping it would be. to have work two years of my life away to have it all come falling down.

2 weeks ago i was following my family in a different car with my cousins Ella and Tina, the two were talking about the up come One Direction concert their mom was taking them to see, when a car came in colliding with my dads car. the 3 of us watch as it was thrown into the other lane of moving traffic as we gasped. in that car was my parents, my aunt and uncle (their parents), and our grandmother. we were just driving to a local restaurant to celebrate Grandmas 75th birthday.

As they cry when we were taken to the hospital to see our family, i tried my best to hold it all in. But how does a 20 year old who should be going out to college party's and making mistakes take care of a house and make payments on bills with a low paying part time job and college.

As i waited for my best friend and my cousins other grandparent to make it to the hospital i did the best i could to make them feel better.

"will they let me see mommy", Ella asked me.
"no honey not right now"
"but i need to see her"
"El, why?"
Ella look as if she was going to cry again so in a very low voice she said, "i was hoping she would just wake up saying april fools"
I was shocked that she was 10 and not understanding the whole thing, but yet again what do i really know about 10 years old.

"Tina, you need anything", i asked
"you we need you, do not make us stay with them please", Tina begged. i looked but to see their moms parents coming in to us with my friend Flora right behind them.

Flora ran right to me crying her eyes out.
"how are you not crying, how are the giirlsdoinghowwillthisallwoooorrrrrrrkkkkk", flora said most of her words together so im not 100% sure what she was telling me.
"flo i dont know, it will be told to me in court in a few weeks, and i will cry when they are not around, maybe tonight or tomrrow. can you stay over tonigh?"
"yes for sure"
i walked over to my aunts parent and said good night to the girls who both wanted to come home with me so we all crash at my house or my parent home or how every you would like to think about it.

i stayed up well past the night hours just thinking and reviewing what i saw . Flo and Tina were sleeping on the floor and i have Ella sleeping right on my legs.

"Ms. please sign when your ready", said the lawyer.
i was signing saying that i had the right to both girls since their grandparent couldn't keep them since they traveled the world and because both girl said they would not go with them. i love these two with all my heart and thank god the Flora said she would move in to help with the cleaning, cooking(cause i cant cook), getting them ready and so that i could still take a few classes. life would be normal again i hope.

"so we are like your kids now right", ella asked Flora.
"no, Rose just took custody of you so that means you live with us", Flo answered.
"oh good", Ella siad with a smile, the first really one in a long time.
"Ella , Tina what do you guys want to do this weekend?", i asked.
"well mom did have these", tina said handing me an envelope.
as i opened the envelope i saw the 4 One direction tickets and back stage passes. this was Ellas early birthday gift from her parents. they have a hotel paid for for the trip and everything.
"OMG i love them, but dont tell anyone!", Flora said with a smile.
"me too!", ella yelled.
"i like 5 seconds of summer better, and they are the opening act", Tina stated.
"guys this is really what you want", i said
"yup!" the 3 said.

well this will be the weekend that i go crazy, 4 hours of one direction and 5sos might just make me crazy. but this is for them and will be good for them, right? who am i kidding im going to sleep in the car as they enjoy the show.
Flora interrupted my planing by saying" you will have to take the photos!"
