Timing is Everything (Liam Payne)

I stay in our room pretty much the rest of the day, nerves are getting to me.The guys are out doing whatever it is that was planned for them. I go look through Liam's clothes wondering what he'll wear tomorrow. I see nothing. I'm going to take it as he has his end under control or has someone doing it for him, probably the latter.
The group gets in around dinner time and Liam comes and checks on me.
"Everything alright, they said you've been in here since you got back." I sense genuine concern and suddenly feel bad for causing it.
"I'm fine, just nerves getting the best of me, is all. Really, I'm Ok."
We discuss dinner and I'm not too hungry, so just get me whatever. He and a few others head out for what I expect to be a long evening so I go ahead and get dressed for bed when its only 7 PM. Within 45 minutes he is back, I'm somewhat shocked.
He hands me my food and we eat and talk about where they went and what they did.
"Oh, I found where were getting married at."
"Where might this be?"
"Its these really pretty gardens, flowers everywhere. You'll love it. Found a minister, he was preforming a wedding and when he was done, I asked him to do ours."
"Anything else?"
"I have a suit put up some where. They're supposed to be getting it for me. Who are you bringing?"
"I guess Lou, she helped out so much today. Plus, she said she'll do my hair and make up tomorrow. And you?"
"Paddy, no question"
"What time?"
"I told the minister noon"
I pick up my phone and text Lou to tell her. She calls Liam and proceeds to chide him on how long hair and makeup take but then assures him we will be ready in time.
I reach over and grab a pill bottle and take a sleeping pill. I am going to sleep tonight. I see Liam eyeing them. So far his sleep schedule has been fine. One night of preforming and it will be off again.
"If you're going to take one, take it. But you cant drink and take one also"
He's weighing it out. He reaches his hand out and takes it down. In 30 minutes we'll both be out cold.
He gets in the shower and is slurring his words by the time he gets out. I have to find his boxers for him, he just sits on the bed, he's pitiful. I help him put them on and roll him over in the bed. He's out. My body is somewhat used to them, but I feel it starting to kick in. I crawl in next to him and turn off the light.
II wake up to Lou calling me to make sure I'm up. I get up, shower and head to her room but not before waking Liam up. That may take a while.
She has everything spread out everywhere and before long every female on the tour comes by and checks on me.
When she is finished she has just enough time to get herself ready. Her phone chimes with a text and there's a knock at her door. Liam pokes his head in and takes a seat where I just was. They both shoo me out to finish getting ready.
Shoes and dress on. Bouquet in bag, ring in bag, too nervous and not enough time to write vows, either I wing it, or do traditional.
There's a knock at the door and I open it. It's Perrie and Zayn. She hugs me and is tearing up. "I come bringing gifts, well a gift from Liam". She hands me a box while Zayn sits on the bed, Perrie on his knee. I hear Niall out in the hall and tell him to deliver something for me. I had gotten Liam a platinum watch that matched his ring at the jeweler. I unwrap my gift to find a white box. I open it to find a strand of pearls. They are gorgeous. Zayn stands up and takes them from me and puts them on me. He bends over to hug me and kisses my cheek. He tells me how happy he is for both of us. Perrie is wiping tears and I'm on the verge of crying.
"Are you ready? Were here to escort you."
II wasn't prepared for all of this so I'm a little taken back, but go along with it, grabbing everything as I leave.
The three of us plus Lou climb in the back of a SUV and ride to the garden Liam told the driver to go to.
We arrive and it is beautiful. As I step out I notice a trail of ivory rose petals showing us which way to go. Zayn extends his elbow for me and Perrie just smiles wiping tears. Perrie and Lou follow behind us. Zayn talks to me the whole time about the Liam he knows and how we have brought out the best in each other. We continue to follow the petals as they wind through the garden. At some point, Louis joins us and Zayn steps back with Perrie and they leave. Louis is giving me pointers on how to deal with Liam and making me laugh. He stops talking and I see Niall waiting. He pushes Louis away and takes my hand. He's more nervous than me. He's trying to make jokes and joke around and his laugh is infectious and has me and Lou laughing. I see Harry waiting his turn, he looks so serious. Niall kisses my cheek and hugs me and hands me over to Harry.
"I know what you look like under that dress" he whispers to me.
"Perv"
"Yes I am, but you still love me. I helped get you here"
"Yes, I know and I am grateful. Just wait til I get hold of a picture of you" I say to him smiling
"There are no pictures"
"Liar"
As we come around a corner the petals end. I look up and almost everyone on the tour is there. Now I'm crying. I had pictured just the four of us. They all surprised me.
Harry bends over to me as we are walking. "You couldn't have your family so we invited ours".
Liam takes my hand, he's shaking. The minister is talking but I don't hear a thing he is saying. At some point he stops talking and we see that its our cue to do something. We say the traditional exchanging of the ring ceremony and vows are traditional. We really had not had the time to sit down and come up with something plus nerves were getting the best of us.
At the end he announced us husband and wife and presented us as Mr and Mrs Liam Payne and told Liam he could now kiss the bride. My heart was pounding as his arms went around my waist and my hands cupped his face , we kissed. Not a full on mouth passionate kiss but the 'I love you so much' meaningful kiss. Everyone was cheering, crying or both. Certainly the happiest day of my life.
As we are all getting ready to leave a limo pulls up.
Naill approaches us, "You two sure as hell are not staying in the same hotel as us. I don't want to hear it all night. Here's where you're staying. See you two love birds tomorrow.". He hands us an envelope to another hotel with keys inside.
Liam picks me up,throws me over his shoulder and carries me the rest of the way to the limo.
We get in and it takes off.
"Surprised?" he says smiling at me
"You have no idea. Thank you."
