Ashton's P.O.V.

I couldn't help but smile as I glanced over at Rachel asleep in the passenger seat. It was weird, she normally didn't sleep in moving vehicles but she did today. I could tell she was thoroughly exhausted.

We hadn't had a chance to talk about the kids yet and what it meant but I was feeling optimistic. She had kissed me back -eagerly I might add - and it had been amazing. The feeling of her lips on mine and her hands in my hair. I couldn't get it out of my head. It was something I had been waiting for since nearly the day I had met her.

I had explained to Skylar what had happened in detail today while Rachel was enthusiastically describing the concert to Brandons girlfriend. We had left not long after that so it was still pretty early but as we were tired we had no real intentions of attending any lectures today.
As we had just spent the weekend together I assumed she'd want some time alone when we got back which is why I wished she would have woken up on the drive. I really wanted to talk to her about the kiss.

However she slept through the whole journey meaning I was bored and nervous during it. Nervous but excited. This might actually be my chance with her, the one I had waited so long for. I really didn't want to spoil it.

By the time we got back to campus, I had over-thought it so many times that I feared I was going insane. I had to lean across the car and shake her shoulder gently to wake her up.

She was awake pretty quickly and once she was we headed off in the direction of her dorm. I insisted on carrying her bag which she argued with at first but then just gave in as she was obviously tired.

Once at her room, she opened the door and walked in. I followed cautiously, grinning when I spotted the lillies I had sent her were still looking fresh.

"Hey Rachel I'll take off and leave you to it. I'll see you later" I announced, unsure of how to politely leave.

She turned to face me quickly. "Oh-Oh right. Okay.. Well em thanks again Ash.. This really was a fantastic gift. I had a great time" she told me, quickly wrapping her arms around my torso.

I hugged her back easily, grinning when we parted. "We'll talk later,yeah?" I asked hopefully.
She nodded.

"Of course"

Rachel's P.O.V.

"And then he did an encore and oh my god Harry it was amazing" I giggled, eating another M&M.

Harry had come over half an hour ago with a big bag of M&M's and asked about the concert.

He grinned widely.

"Sounds amazing Rach. Hey have you by any chance heard from Sky? I've tried calling and texting her a few times but she's ignoring me" he glanced down as he finished up.

"Well I haven't but I think Ashton said he was on the phone to her this morning. Why?"

He shrugged. "She's my friend. Just curious I guess.." He mumbled.

I sighed.

"Harry its time for you to move on. I mean c'mon, you have a girlfriend for crying out loud!" I replied.

I couldn't let Harry start pining over Skylar again, he was only just improved so he couldn't let it happen again..

He just nodded.

"I know Each, I get it. Just wondering* he shrugged nonchalantly.

He decided to take off then but (thankfully) left me the M&M's. And so as I sat on the bed eating chocolate I let my mind wander to my kiss with Ashton.

What exactly was the best thing to do?
