Year Two

Rachel's P.O.V.

20 minutes later and things seemed back to normal. It seemed all it had taken for me and Ashton to make up was a surprisingly tight hug. He hadn't said much at all, just hugged me. And all of a sudden things seemed to be okay

Calum had mysteriously disappeared into his room to give us a bit of privacy and surprisingly we had just managed to start talking animatedly about the concert, conveniently ignoring the whole hickey situation.

And so now we were just sitting on the couch with mugs of tea,listening to Ed Sheeran songs on the boys laptop. I was scrolling through my twitter feed as we did when all of a sudden I came cross some pictures of Harry and Delia together.

"Wow,look.. " I mumbled to Ashton. He leaned across me to glance t the laptop and I became suddenly aware of how close his face was to mine as he did. My stomach suddenly filled with butterflies.

This was not good. Me feeling nervous around Ashton would not end well. Ashton knew me well,he was surely bound to notice if I started acting different. Which is why I couldn't. I had to act completely normal around him or he was going to know something was up.

"I must admit, I wouldn't have put them two together but they look good" he stated as he pulled away from the screen.

He wasn't wrong, they did look good together. For the first time in a while Harry actually looked happy, which was good. Though I wasn't too sure how I felt about it being with Delia. I mean she had been the one who made out with Ashton. And judging on Niall's reaction, there had been something going on with the two of them.
Yet, Harry seemed so happy that I didn't really mind. At least he was moving on from Skylar.

I had tried to tell her about them but she didn't seem to interested. I knew she was really though. I could tell. I knew Skylar though, she was stubborn. I had no hope of getting her to admit it bothered her.

"Hey I'm gonna go grab a shower, freshen up but we should head out for dinner later. We can get the guys and Lizzie to come with us" Ashton announced as he stood up off of the couch.

I nodded.

"Sure, sounds great to me" I replied.

He grinned widely.

"Great.." He began "I'm glad things are back to normal"

I nodded.

"Yeah, normal" I hesitated on the word.

He wandered off then and once he had I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and ran a hand through my hair.

"You okay there?" I jumped at the words and looked up quickly to see Calum smirking in his doorway.

"Looking a bit flustered there Rach" he commented.

My eyes widened slightly.

"Wouldn't have anything to do with a certain drummer would it?" He questioned.

"Shh!" I hissed quickly, worried Ashton would hear.

Calum just waved a hand carelessly.

"Relax, he won't hear.." He assured me. I relaxed when I heard the shower begin.

Calum came over and sat next to me on the couch.

"So you like Ash, huh?" He asked.

I sighed, deciding there wasn't even much point in denying it and just nodded.

His grin widened.

"Since when?" He asked eagerly and so I just decided to explain the whole story to him. From the first time Ashton and I had met at that party back on the first night.
